Our waiter, Kareem, was attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. There was a mixup with one of the dishes, and Kareem as well as the manager, made sure all was corrected quickly.
Our only complaint was that it was rather cool that day, and the AC was still on. The restaurant although is slight service disarray this day was very attentive accommodating and most importantly the food was excellent. The smell of the smoke flavor encompasses you as you arrive and your mouth begins to water thereafter. We were seated immediately, the food did not take long to come out, and everything was delicious. Wait time here is better than most but if you get seating by kitchen it can be a little hot. At any of them it can get really busy and crowded so be prepared if your not up for that kind of place. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with one side (mini wedge salad). The menu says that the sandwich is served on a potato roll, it was not, but it was ok with me. The salad dressing was unique. Just like we remember, our food was incredible, our orders came out perfect and piping Hot. The St. Louis ribs, brisket & pulled pork was tender with unmatched flavor. Also an excellent kids menu that our 9 year old enjoyed, also kudos to BBQ chicken and Mac & cheese. The restaurant is steps from the Pru Center. The decor is comfortable and more "corporate" so different from the original in Syracuse, which was a combination of a biker bar and gourmet restaurant. We have a 4 year old and they give her crayons and a coloring kid menu that keeps her busy. We also love the food, the service and the Donkey Punch cocktail too lol. We eat there about twice a month.
