This is becoming favorite Vegas stop for us.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI was very excited to eatI was very excited to eat here as we love Mexican food. We must have hit an off night. We ordered Queso Dip and it was very thick not really a dip at all. We sent it back, and the server took it off the bill. I had the Chicken Mole and it was very good. My wife ordered the Carnitas and they were dry, she didn't eat them all. The service was awesome, he was very friendly and efficient. Overall the look and feel was great just a bad night in the food.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and the serviceGreat food and the service was outstanding. Will definetly be dining there again when staying at the MGM.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent as usual. GreatExcellent as usual. Great staff! Have the table side guacamole! It's amazing!!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAn outstanding establishment! An outstanding establishment! My girlfriends and I came here for dinner before going out and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff is super friendly and they accommodated our large party at a round table to make a more intimate environment for us. The food was out quickly and our servers were entertaining. Anything we needed we got at the drop of a hat and our bill was handled without complication. Great food, delicious pitchers of margaritas and a very Las Vegas restaurant ambiance, I would highly recommend Diego to anyone interested in fine dining before they hit the strip!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDiego's was a great choiceDiego's was a great choice prior to an event. The wait staff, Leo, was very helpful and friendly and conscious of our time constraints.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this restaurant andI love this restaurant and have been there three times now. The service once seated and the food has always been great! My only complaint is that every time I have been there the entrance area staff has been rude or uninterested to my party and others waiting around us. That is a major turn off if someone is coming to inquire for the first time and an easy way to lose potential patrons.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Mexican on The StripI'm something of a mole afficionado; if it's on the menu I know I'm in a Mexican restaurant that's more than a taco stand. Such is the case with Diego. The chicken mole dish was excellent, although the sauce was just a tad too sweet. The wilted greens on the plate, along with the cumin-laced (I think) rice, really balanced things out. The guacamole appy, made tableside, was exceptional, as was the house salsa. My husband's carnitas tamales were delicious, and the refried beans on his plate were a surprise hit (we're thinking bacon/pork fat was hiding inside). We also tried the tortilla soup; tasty, but save your calories for something else IMO. Total bill including tip was $100, including 2 soft drinks and no alcohol.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMBasketball Tournament ReservationsWe had a group of 8 during the Basketball PAC-12 Tournament. I made reservations for all of us one night in advance and Diego's was ready for us although they were quite busy with other walk in customers. We were all very happy with being seated immediately and the service and food was great. Would definitely go back again!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and deliciousGreat service and delicious food. Margaritas were very good. Overall great dinner.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was top notch as wasFood was top notch as was the service. Highly recommended.
