Diner Reviews
  • "We were there for the 1st time on a referral from our Granddaughter. The food was delicious, prepared the way it should be, and presentation was great. The service was very good with everyone being very attentive right to the end."

  • "I would not eat here. First off the service was no good. Servers just wanting a tip for bad service. Food is no good don't get Caso dip it is watered down. I did like the Margaretita."
    Dined on 7/14/2014
  • "Ate pre-theatre. Food came promptly, in fact the main courses before we had finished the nachos, so there was a lot of food on the table. The noise level even for Las Vegas, was big at 7.00pm. The booth had little room to breathe round the table and the leatherette seats made for a hot an uncomfortable meal. The food was good though."
    Dined on 7/9/2014
  • "Go early - ask to sit in the bar area and watch sports games OR people watch on the strip. DEFINITELY order chips-n-salsa."
    Dined on 7/8/2014
  • "We went to diablos on our trip to Las Vegas. They have happy hour until 7, so with our 6:30 reservations, we were able to get drinks at happy hour price. We ordered and shared the combo nachos. They were huge and delicious. We didn't even finish them!"
    Dined on 7/7/2014
  • "We came here for lunch, and they didn't have the upstairs patio open unfortunately, but service was pretty good, and the food was excellent. Chips and dip were great (a little spicy, but not overlay so) and we both had the fajitas, which were delicious!"

  • "If you love great Mexican food as much as me than I think this might be one of the best places I have found in the strip. The nachos are awesome and the house salsa is five star. No matter what you menu item you pick, you're in store for a great meal and in fun place!"

  • "I've eaten at Diablo's a few times and it has always been very good. The food and service is always great. The restaraunt sits right on the Strip, so it is a great place for people watching. It's open late, so it is great after the shows get out."

  • "Booking our reservations online was super easy. Our table was ready when we got there early. Our server was really nice, and we received all food and drinks really quickly. Margaritas were yummy and strong!! We will definitely go back again next time we are there."

  • "The food was tasteless, overcooked, lukewarm and not at all memorable. It wasn't even enjoyable as bar food. The wings were decent. It was at least 90 degrees inside the restaurant. We were sweating the entire time. It was so uncomfortable. The service was slow and our server was frustrated when asked to trust what she said. This was necessary due to the multiple TVs that were loudly showing the game. My first and last time visiting. Skip it! Go to Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood for great food and a hopping bar scene!"

  • "The menu has all sorts of selections, even for those avoiding gluten. The waitstaff is friendly, and the food is tasty. It's in a convenient part of the Strip."
    Dined on 6/4/2014
  • " Dine al fresco on the second level! Upstairs opens at 5:00pm(?), and is empty for a few minutes--GO THEN. We reserved a table by the glass wall on the strip; table was awesome! Waitress--I wish that I could remember her name--was fantastic!"
    Dined on 5/22/2014
  • "First, they tried to seat us upstairs behind the bar, away from the strip. We asked for a table at the railing with a view of the strip -they were all empty- and they would not give us one, said they were all reserved. WTH? We had reservations too! And it was HOT HOT HOT up there, so we refused the table and went back downstairs. The food was decent... good. I would do 4 stars for the food but it took a long time to get it. It was 15 minutes just to get our drinks and our appetizer order of chips & salsa. We had 7:15 reservations and did not get our food until just after 8pm."

  • "El Diablo's open-air location on the sidewalk of the Strip makes it great for people-watching, if you are seated towards the front. The menu is a selection of standard-issue Mexican and American dishes that are of decent quality. Service was weak; our waitress ("Aston?") would abandon us for long stretches of time, and left dirty dishes on our table until we left. An ok experience, but not great."

  • "I loved dining here for the ambience and Mexican food is an easy group pleaser."

  • "The music is loud and so are the nachos! Go in with the mentality that everything is HugE! We got two trays of @combo nachos" for a table of 4 and easily could've split one between us and been satisfied. $18.00 is a lot for nachos but when it's your entire lunch for two that's a steal! Walking past at night the place is filled with partiers and drinkers. Enjoy good during the day."

  • "Took a group of friends the day after Cinco de Mayo for dinner. We were seated right in front with the windows open and a great view of the street. This was a new location for most of the folks but everyone enjoyed their meal and their time at Diablos. I continue to bring people here and they always return when they are in town on their own."

  • "The food at Diablo's was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. If you don't mind over the top loud restaurants, this is the place to eat!!"
    Dined on 5/4/2014
  • "The food and drinks were great. Service was a bit slow, but not bad. Sat in the corner on the railing open to the strip which was great to take in the strip at night. "

  • "Was here too celebrate my birthday, was treated to a great meal and service. Our server Dwight was very friendly and helpful. The best part was spinning the drink wheel!!!"

  • "The food was very spicy and abundant - 2 things I love in a Mexican restaurant! The joint is jumping though, so you may have to be patient if it takes a little while to get your dinner. The margaritas are great and enormous. I recommend the angry calamari. The wait staff was a lot fun too."

  • "We arrived a few minutes early and we're seated with no issues. The Hostess was very welcoming and introduced us to our server. Our server was perfect as our drink orders we're delivered within minutes. She informed us of the specials and suggestions and allowed for us to take the time to look over the menu! Once we ordered the pace of the food came out perfect as we stated to her we wanted to relax and take our time as it was our first night in Vegas and we travelled early throughout the day. Our server delivered on all levels as we watched her serve the other Guests we great care. The food was amazing and enjoyable. When we are back in Vegas we shall certainly make a stop back at Diablos!!!!"

  • "Ate in all the fancy and expensive resturants in Las Vegas, mediocre at best. Then I ate at Diablo's Cantina had a good meal and great service and all at my table had a great time. Just goes to show you expensive and fancy somtimes is not always right!!"

  • "Reserved table on second floor overlooking strip, got seated in first floor in back, construction in front, second floor apparently not open Had to pay for chips at a Mexican restaurant?"
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "This was our first trip to Vegas, and Diablo's was such a fun experience for us. The bar was great, and the food tasted incredible. It's a draw for a much younger crowd, and we really enjoyed our time there!"
    Dined on 2/9/2014
  • "Deafening noise (I cannot call it music - it's like being on busy runway at the airport, and not McCarran airport but JFK Airport), disappearing waiter, mediocre food, weird happy hour rules and high, truly Strip prices. We will never set our feet there again even if Diablo’s Cantina management would offer to pay us for coming."

  • "The restaurant cancelled the reservation that I made 2 months earlier at the last minute because they booked a private group that obviously made them more money!!! Unreal!!!"
    Dined on 1/26/2014
  • "Restaurant had good food. Very noisy and dark! Service was slow. Chefs did accommodate person with food allergy with good dish. Thank you!"

  • "Charged for chips and salsa. A pitcher of Maargarit's was $39 and they were very basic house ones. I wonder if they forgot to put in an Tequila too. The menu was limited and the food was not good. We didn't even finish our meals. Total cost was $93 for 2 people. Go elsewhere."

  • "I brought my husband here for his birthday before going to see the Blue Man Group. We were very disappointed. The service was poor, the food was decent (but overpriced), and the drinks were so bad we sent them back! Overall our visit left little to be desired. We won't be going back!"
    Dined on 1/1/2014
  • "Went there to watch the game with my wife. Had a blast and the food was awesome too. I mistakenly gave the waitress a two hundred dollar tip. She caught me at the door and we got it corrected when she could have just pocketed it. It is nice to know that there are still great people out there."

  • "Reservations were set for 11:30am, to our surprise the restaurant did not open till noon. Finally arrived back for sitting at noon. Renovations were in process at entrance at this time as well. Ordered drinks to only be told the soda dispenser is broke and the limes would be at table shortly. Well surprise again..,limes are back on loading deck and manager will be getting them so we will have them right out to you...surprise no limes ever came. Now we are concerned about the food....couldn't get drinks right so how will food be right. Food was good. Was offered free dessert but would have rathered had the nachos comp, didn't take the free dessert as we were aggravated with the entire experience."

  • "Our overall experience was good. However, our main reason for going was the locals discount which turned out to be the regular prices. We recently move to Las Vegas and wanted to check out some of the restaurants with special offers for locals. So far, we've found several much better deals and won't be going out of our way again to return to Diablo's."

  • "It seems like this place caters more to large crowds - the big tables got their food quickly while we waited a long time for ours (we were a table of two). My fish tacos were mediocre at best."

  • "Diablo's Cantina is a great place to have a few drinks and some food before getting your night started. It's open environment and fresh air is GREAT after spending time in casino's and their $5 Happy Hour Margarita's are delicious. It can get a little pricey if your ordering a full dinner but when you factor in environment and quality, it's well worth your money."
