  • "We spend almost every holiday here .. always wonderful. ."

  • "Very disappointed in the holiday meal with terrible service. Started out nice and then waited one hour for our entrée to arrive. Bathrooms were dirty with no toilet paper filled. Sorry to say I will not be back for a while. "

  • "We always enjoy eating here. The food is delicious and we love the fried shrimp and chips. The chopped salad is great, we always enjoy sharing it for the table. The wait staff is very friendly and acknowledge able for all the selections on the menu. Definitly will return in the near future."

  • "Seated in bar area at a table to watch hawks play ! Had lobster salad which was great! Service was great!"

  • "We meet here every month as a group of high school friends. Obviously, we love it all."

  • "Great service, and HUGE gluten free menu. The spaghetti and meatballs were outstanding. They also have great fish, sushi, and steaks. You can't lose!"

  • "Outrageously loud. Hard to talk. Grilled calamari appetizer, horseradish whitefish & pan seared sea scallops all very tasty. Chopped salad no great shakes. They could've been a little more generous w/the sea scallops & the side grilled vegetables. Waitress had trouble hearing our order -- likely from the noise but she seemed a little ditzy &/or harried as well. W/out any alcohol it came out to about $35 a head including a 20% tip which she didn't really deserve but I have a relative in the restaurant business & I know how screwed over the help is so I have a soft spot for the staff."

  • "I brought some friends from out of town in, one of which had severe food restrictions. The manager came out to talk to us and be sure the food was made perfectly for her. Service and food was fantastic. Grilled calamari appetizer was amazing. Will be back for sure."

  • "While I always love my meals here, this particular evening fell a little below par. But, it is still my favorite on the north shore."

  • "Two of our party of 4 had the lobster salad, which was delicious as well as being plentiful. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Most enjoyable dinner"

  • "We had a great time at Di Pescare. We came for lunch on Saturday. The service was phenomenal. We had a toddler with us and the waitress was extremely accommodating to all of our needs. The food was good and exactly what we expected and the bread to start the meal was a nice touch. Thank you!"

  • "It is a neighborhood find because one will never suspect such a nice restaurant located in mall premises. It also caters to a wide age range that there is always something for everyone. Though my mom always told me to always go for what the restaurant is known for (i.e. seafood), I have not had the chance to try their steaks. I may defy my own rule next time and try their other non-seafood dishes."

  • "We eat at your here often. Not sure what was going on this particular evening, 1st customers that nite..our server was busy attending to other things that were obviously a higher priority than us. Take outs, getting her station & other tables ready. There was no bus boy, so we had no bread, no olive oil and no water. Not only was the food not its normal deliciousness. ..it wasn't even good. Both in tsste and presentation. We even had to send back the bread because it was cold. The funny thing about the situation, was that the manager walked by our table about 10 times. He never noticed that obvious problems. He was more interested in making sure our server got the take out orders correct"

  • "We picked this to take my daughter for the great seafood. Big disappointment, as her salmon looked seared instead of broiled. It was taken back, but returned with the same spinach, terribly over-cooked and very unlike our previous experiences. My dinner, the Chilean Sea Bass, was ok, but not worth the cost."

  • "consistently good food with friendly service and a menu that has new things all the time"

  • "We have dined in and carried out and the food is always fresh and tasty. Servers are attentive and friendly. Surprised that not more wild caught fish on menu and no oysters. But would definitely return. Also accommodating for a no salt diet."

  • "The food was delicious, as we'd expect from a Lettuce Entertain you spot. The waiter was helpful and attentive without hovering, and brought us 2 flutes of sparkling wine, on the house, when he learned we were celebrating. The manager came and talked to us about the dessert we were ordering when the waiter learned one of us has a sensitivity to dairy products. Other than the fact that the place is pretty noisy, this was a nice dining experience."

  • "Always happy dining here but this time it was very, very noisy."
    Dined on 3/29/2014
  • "Great food - variety. I liked it very much and will go back. They get a lot of mall traffic so atmosphere is well lit etc. So... great, just not great for a romantic date at 6:00 of a friday."

  • "All of the other places to eat in Northbrook Court are typical chain restaurants. Di Pescara while a LEY member gets high points for creativity, presentation and food quality. Worth a visit even if you are not shopping! Staff is very attentive - food is attratively prepared and extremely tasty. Good portion size. Met a friend for lunch and was not rushed even though restaurant was full. Not a great place for active kids, though - if your kids run and need to move the Claim Co. is a better choice."

  • "My husband and I have dined at Di Pescara several times so far this year. They have the best mussels of any restaurant I've been to. Their homemade broth with fresh herbs, lemon and garlic is so delicious I keep coming back for more. They have a good portion serving of scallops and their fresh fish dishes are very good as well. The staff are all very friendly."

  • "We always have a great meal & kids & my husband & I are always happy when we go to Di Pescara. Highly recommend! great sushi, fish dishes & kids menu. Love the chopped salad! Lives up to being a Lettuce Entertain U restaurant. Nice to have one on the North Shore!!"

  • "Miss the wonderful rolls they used to have and portions are smaller but food is consistently good."

  • "We got there and our party of four was placed in a booth that was blowing cold air on us from a vent directly overhead. They then moved us to a table right in front of the kitchen, where it was obvious the person sitting on the end would get hammered by the wait staff. We asked to be moved again, and stood at the table for about ten minutes waiting. When we finally did get moved, the service was very slow and the food was average at best. We also noted they seated another party at the original (cold) table we had, and they had on their jackets and were complaining as well. Will take a pass on this place in the future"

  • "The only knocks against this place is 1) parking (but, it's in a popular mall, so not much to be done) and 2) the tables are too put too close to each other (staff and guests kept bumping our seats as they tried to squeeze through). Our server was fantastic; fun and knowledgeable. She was attentive throughout the meal and helped us time a wonderfully paced dining experience. The food was outstanding. I had the fish special and cleaned my plate. I had the soup and that was also delicious. We would definitely return."

  • "Di Pescara is the spot for good seafood in the north suburbs. Service is always good. Our server, Steve, was exceptionally attentive and helpful."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "I have never had a bad meal at DiPescara until I ordered the fish taco special. It was supposed to have guacamole on top of some shredded cabbage but didn't. It was a do-it-yourself plate. I didn't want to do it myself! After paying the bill I mentioned to our waitress how lousy I thought my meal had been without intending to ask for a refund. I just wanted her to know for other diners. She sent the manager over and he took my meal off the bill. Although I would have preferred to have a meal that I could enjoy as much as I always have in the past at DiPescara, I appreciated the manager's gesture. I will go back - but I won't order the fish tacos!"
