"We punctually arrived for our 8:15pm reservation, but apparently there was some confusion, as if they couldn't find it and were asked our name several times. By 8:35pm, we were finally escorted to our table. They only had one menu available, and also grabbed the gluten-free menu we didn't ask for. Once seated, we were also given two full baskets of bread for the two of us.

On the flip side, our waitress was fabulous! She straightened everything out, relayed the specials, and was genuinely caring and helpful. The food was great and her service was outstanding, worthy of the 5 stars. I would give the host station 1 star for the lack of organization, lack of attention to detail, or lack of apology for the confusion."

"This was the first time dining with a 2-year old and it was a wonderful experience. Our server, a darling, understanding young woman, was absolutely fabulous with our group of five. She anticipated our every request and made us feel like we were part of the family. Sorry that I don't remember her name. While I've dined at DiPescara many times, this was outstanding. We'll be back, of course."

"I have had many great meals at Di Pescara before one disappointing experience so one can be excused. They seated up promptly (good...), but when ordering, it didn't seem that the server really knew what was on the menu. My friend ordered mashed potatoes and he assured us that they didn't have that. It took us pointing to it on the menu to get it. Then when I ordered I had to again point to the menu to get what I wanted (and hope for the best). By the time we did get our food it was luke-warm- we decided to eat it for fear that we would never see it again. Maybe the server was new, but service was not their strong point that night."
