DhabaGreat Meal!In town visiting family and needed a good dinner spot that didn't break the bank. Dhaba was the perfect fit. Casual with great food. Service was prompt and we weren't rushed out afterwards. It was great to hang after the meal which became a wonderful family moment. Highly recommended spot in 'Curry Hill'.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLots of foodThis was our first time to Dhaba. The food was really good and plentiful. Service was quite good. The music was way too loud and made it hard for us to talk. On a Saturday night, the place was packed and there was a line so coupled with the very loud music, this was the only negative ie too noisy.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLively and good Indian foodI've been going to Dhaba for years and it has had it's ups and downs - it's definitely on the up now and it's my default Indian place. Good options for both meat and vegetarian/vegan eaters. Lively atmosphere, decent service. Thumbs up.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBest freshly made naan. FoodBest freshly made naan.
Food was pretty good.
Pineapple drink was allright.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Indian Restaurant in America!WOW!!! This place blew us away with it's extraordinary service. We are visiting from California and Australia and have eaten at 16 restaurants since we have been in NYC, most of them on the New York Times Critics Choice list, Dhaba won hands down in our personal competition for the best restaurant of the trip, and we have to say that it is by far the best Indian food we have had in America, east and west coast. But not only was the food amazing, the service just totally blew us away. Our waiter was genial, as in friendly, not overly so, or pushy, and he gave us excellent advice on what to order and was completely straight with us on everything. Then he proceeded to bring us complimentary lassies and all sorts of extras, gratis! Amazing!!!!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. I would steerGreat food. I would steer clear of the cocktails, though, stick to beer and wine, or their lassi's or chai.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
