Now that we found DEWZ, we will be driving into Modesto to eat a fabulous meal. Once a month for sure; maybe more. Great food, delicious , well plated, imaginative, awesome wine list, good servers. No wonder this spot is rated number one in the area. Very happy that we found it. My Veal Escalopes were outstanding, and my husband's Duck was perfect. Over the years we have come to expect superior service and incredible tasting menu selections. This last visit raised the bar. Jerry provided us with perfectly balanced seriousness and humor. The wine list is amazing. and the owner alwasy comes to your table to greet and ask how things are. The food is outstanding and deserts are so yummy. This time we were celebrating my husbands birthday and decided to go to Dewz for their marvelous ceaser salad. When we told the waiter that we would be continuing on to another restaurant or two the owner came out. After talking for a hit he treated us to their calamari appetizer, which was delicious! Scott made our night extra special when he didn't have to do a thing.
