The service was quick and very friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and it was comfortable yet still gave the feel to my mom that we were spoiling her a bit. This is my second time here, first time for brunch, and I would definitely make a return trip! Had a sampling of oysters which were delicious. Had the salad with fresh grilled salmon. Asked for it med-rare, it arrived well done. It had already taken long enough, so I didn't send it back. Daughter got tuna tartare and loved it and my wife got and enjoyed the swordfish - which was important! We then ordered one slice of carrot cake to split. After a long wait, our waiter came back to tell us they were out of carrot cake and it would be ten minutes before they would have any more. So we decided to pass and asked for our bill - which took more than 10 minutes to get, ironically enough. Been here before and will go back, but was disappointed with this visit.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day DinnerOur mom had a wonderful time. We have yet to be disappointed with a dinner at Devon's. The food was delicious - especially the grilled Atlantic salmon and the crab cakes. My mom was torn between getting the steak or the salmon; I recommend a steak and salmon combination be added to the menu. The vanilla creme brûlée was a delicious ending to the meal. It was a beautiful evening and the meal was outstanding. My daughter and I got the tuna (Medium Rare), and my wife got the mixed seafood grill. All were amazing. The tuna may have been the best I have ever had, and I eat it often! For the main course my wife had the seafood mixed grill and I had the NY Strip and lobster mac and cheese, she said the crab cakes were the best she has ever had and my strip was cooked perfectly rare and was incredible. My only 2 recommendations would be that the bussing staff be a bit less zealous when clearing the table. They wanted to remove dishes so quickly and we were not yet finished. My second recommendation would be an improvement at the front desk. I have been to Devon twice and the greetersseaters are truly not a harmonious group.

We loved it so much, we went back a few days later and ate outside with a view of the park. The food is amazing! With 5 of us and 2 visits, we had quite a few things on the menu....we sampled 4-5 different appetizers, but the few that really stood out were the lobster rolls (YUM), duck flatbread, crab cakes and mussels. The food was terrific, but what really made the restaurant was the excellent service. We had the seafood sampler and it was a sample in sheer delights. I don't want to go on and on but this restaurant has a life long fan.
