We chose Devon because we had heard about the great food, but I get worried about bringing our 7 year old to restaurants that aren't prepared for and don't really want to serve families with kids. Since Devon has a kid's menu, I felt comfortable bringing him. How great to have an adult meal and an adult drink in a beautifully decorated restaurant with great ambiance and great service and still be comfortable bringing a well-behaved child! Probably not the best place to go if you have multiple kids or rowdy kids however. I had the seared sea scallops and they were perfectly prepared and melt-in-your-mouth tender. We were in Hershey for a tournament and read about this restaurant on Open Table. It was definitely worth leaving The Hershey Hotel to eat here. It was less than a two mile drive from the resort. The atmosphere was great, with a lively vibe and wonderful ambiance. The food selection was outstanding, as was the food. We shared a wide variety of starters and everyone in our party enjoyed their main courses. We will definitely eat at Devon Seafood Grill if we are in Hershey again, or in any other city they are located. The service was impeccable, very cordial, informative, friendly server.

On Sunday, we made reservations a mere two hours in advance.
We were very pleased with the staff, restaurant, service and food from the moment we entered the restaurant. It was not exceptionally busy at the time we were dining.
The noise level was very nice. There was a pleasant volume of chatter among the clients and staff. Service was excellent!
We look forward to doing this again as we travel through the area frequently; do not always have a need to dine out, but will make this an occasion.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA friend and I had brunchA friend and I had brunch at Devon when we were in Hershey for an event at the Giant Center. The food was fantastic--the only problem was choosing what to have! The menu had a wide range of choices, offering not only breakfasty type options but also fish/salads and other entrees if you wanted something a little different. .
Our server was wonderful too! My friend has some food allergies and he was great about checking on things with the chef and together they modified her meal so it was not only "safe" but delicious as well.
We did not have wine since it was brunch (the mimosas however were great), but it looked like the wine list was pretty extensive.

We had the Sushi, Lobster Roll, Clams and Crab Cakes and each was better than the last. The service was excellent. We tried to get the recipe for the Mango Sauce for the Crab Cakes to no avail. On the down side the noise level was high (given it was packed on a Friday) and the wine prices ridiculous. To charge $55 for a bottle of Wild Horse Pinot I can buy (in Virginia) for $17 irritates me. Odd logic perhaps but I tend to spend more if I feel the mark-up is fair. The power lunch combos provide a great option that are both tasty and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the seafood gumbo and any of the sandwiches or sushi rolls.
