The food was delicious and our waiter made good suggestions. He was also very accomodating for our toddler. Also, he was great about telling us when we were ordering food we didn't need. When our meal was done we ordered dessert. We waited over 30 minutes and our waiter disappeared. During our wait the hostess came over to apologize but our waiter was still MIA. He did apologize when he finally returned but his disappearance was strange. Overall, great food and we enjoyed our server's suggestions. The time between ordering and receiving food was too great and our waiter was often not present when he was needed. Aside from the waiter, Dave, and the great food, another reason to make return visits to brunch is to hear the entertainment! Can't remember his name, but Michael McDonald had better watch his back! Talk about a voice...Blue-Eyed Soul personified!! He plays keyboards, sax and has a voice that renders incredibly soulful gospel & other genres of music! Went for our 23rd anniversary & will be back!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first time there. we wentOur first time there. we went with our good friends and met outside. we reserved our table three days prior and this is the only way to go. we were greeted at least four different times while we waited to be seated. this is a plus as we were acknowledge. we were sat at the table we requested A+++. our waiter was David , our friend actually read the reviews and David was the #1 choice. aim not a big seafood guy but by the time David gets done explaining the menu to you everything sounds good. David knew not only the food selection but also the wine selection.

I was leery after reading very mixed reviews about the service and the food, but I am glad the opinions of others didn't make us shy away from this gem. First the food was excellent. We had the thai chicken, lobster bisque and crab croquettes appetizers - all outstanding. Tilapia, salmon and Delmonico steak for the main course and again all were outstanding. The chocolate lava cake for dessert was something I will dream about. Our waiter, Anthony, was very friendly and didn't miss a best. The food and music were wonderful. The busboy spilled water on my friend and it got all over her jacket. Nothing was done about it. The waiter saw and didn't say anything...He could at least offered to comp her drink or something. Her chair and the floor needed to be mopped up. When the water was spilled another water was never brought to her either. I was expecting good to great service.
The food came out fast and we were done in an hour. The food was very good as well and the overall quality and portion was similar to what you would get on a normal night without the special menu. Crab croquettes were great appetizers, lanugoustine alfredo was somewhat ordinary but still delicious and the lava cake for dessert was rich and tasty. Also tried the thai chicken appetizer, also very good.
Atmosphere was odd. Kids are welcome, they just seem kinda out of place.

The wonderful piano player, the ambiance but most importantly the staff. I enjoyed every moment of sitting in the high back booths and wondering what was going behind the curtains of the private booth.
The food was a wonderful surprise. Appetizers and Entrees you think you know well but when they come to your table the fresh ingredients and the subtle twists on the classics leave you wanting more.
I loved it and my entire group loved it. We can't wait to visit again. The lunch dinning experience was good. I had the freshed mixed green salad with the grilled salmon, goat cheese, dried cherries and Mandarin oranges. The size of the salad was just right for lunch, it was tasty and the salmon was grilled just the way I like it, nice and frim. The bread and butter was good and had a soft drink.
