Went to dinner here for the first time and was literally blown away. Went with my BF. We split the following: a bottle of Pinot grigio, Mario meatballs, mozzarella with tomato and basil, 2 day marinated pork chops, and mussels in a white wine sauce with pasta. It was all amazing. The food was more than enough for both of us and the bill was less than $120 before tip (almost unheard of for that quality of food). We were so excited about it I'm sure we scared the staff with our thank yous and compliments. Our favorites were the Mario meatballs, mozzarella, and pork chop. It is not a 'foodie' restaurant because of the traditional menu, but that is why my husband and I love it so much. Beautiful, traditional food in a traditionally romantic environment. Our first trip was Tuesday night in December and they were very busy and very shorthanded. But the food was really good so we had to give it another try or two. The Monday evening were were their we opted to go upstairs. This time the service and food were both excellent. And after the other two couples left we had the upstairs to ourselves. I ordered the penne alla vodka and my wife got the salmon. This fish was cooked to perfection not to mention that sauce that comes with it is incredible. The vodka sauce was delicious and the pasta was perfectly cooked.
