From the welcome at the front door to the cooffee service, the experience is professionally delivered. Steaks are as good or better than any other restaurant in the city. My wife's crab cake appetizer bursted with pearly white jumbo lump and was served on a butter sizzling plate. I had the Who Dat shrimp and highly recommend. They take shrimp and stuff them with jumbo lump then wrap them with bacon and drizzle with a creole mustard and Thai sweet chili sauce. We each had a ribeye that couldn't have been cooked more perfect. I liked the simple seasoning of salt, pepper, butter. First side dish was crawfish, andouille Mac & cheese. A must have. The steaks, crabcakes, salads, and creamed spinach were fantastic. I found this restaurant because of Open Table. When I travel to cities like LA and Phoenix, almost all restaurants are on Open Table. In New Orleans many are not. They are making a mistake. This is now my favorite Steak House in New Orleans. This now tops Mr. John's for me. Free validated parking is great. That does not happen even across the street at Herbsaint. The service was excellent. Bone-in-filet? This was new to me, and was outstanding. My GF and I split the filet and the twin lobsters. Filet was perfectly cooked med-rare, lobsters were tender and a great flavor. Creamed spinach was good, but typical.

The amuse bouche was a meatball in grandma's marinara, and it almost made me cry it was so tasty. We had salads, filets, mushrooms, and onion rings, and it was all divine. Didn't get a chance to look at wine list because we brought a 97 Dominus. Service was exceptional and the food was smoking hot. I had a medium rare ribeye steak. I couldn't have asked for a better meal. For appetizers, we had lobster tacos and the fried green tomatoes with jumbo lump crab over the top. The wine was excellent. Very energetic scene. Mark Ingram came in later in the meal with his family and had a great time with the wait staff.
