I was however upset with the valet parking. My experience has been if a place has valet parking they find a space to park your car. We had to used to used Rios 's valet parking. Our friends were late and the hostess kept her eye out for them while we enjoyed the bar upstairs. The bartender Joe made the best drinks I've ever had. The only thing that ruined my great mood was when the manager came and kicked us out stating they had to get ready for dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant and were visiting with our friends from out of town. We were quickly seated. we have nice view of the river. The waiter by the table to get our drink orders. The brunch had a range foods. The items I tried were very tasty. It was comparable to brunch at a great hotel. The waiter came to the table often. I had the Pork Loin which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the 1/2 chicken which was totally delicious. we would go to the Pilothouse again, however if you wish a window seat, get there before 6pm, they only have 4 seats available.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA MIXED review.......We were able to dine at the Pilot House Restaurant on board the Delta King as part of a package offering. The dinner service was smooth, the food and wine excellent, the service provided by Alice was flawless, the view overlooking the river and the setting sun was a memory to cherish.
However, the breakfast included the next morning was nothing like dinner the night before,everyone being seated was told the included breakfast could be upgraded for $5 extra per person...tacky..... the waitress was surly, the service was marginal and grudgingly given, my eggs were runny after asking for over medium, came back scrambled on the same plate taken from the table, was more than surprised at the difference in service and attitude from dinner.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOur lunch (for 6) went veryOur lunch (for 6) went very smoothly.
