  • "We came here for brunch on Sunday before going to the Pantages. The food was good and is a great location when you are going to the theater."

  • "We went here after we saw bok of mormon. the food is great..I had an ehu dish which is from figi... excellent taste and great presentation. Only complaint is that wine by the galass is too high. 16$ for your average pinot noir.. you are better off buying the bottle at 48"

  • "We had brunch- it wasOK, , menu was nothing outstanding- perhaps lunch or dinner might be better experiences. One thing going for this place, it's right across from the Pantages if you're pressed for time."

  • "Excellent food (everyone enjoyed a great meal) and outstanding service. We were wowed!"

  • "Service, Service and Service was great ( Bethany ) also, general manager Dave Meyers came bye twice to make sure all was well. Food was great for me and my vegetarian wife was delighted with the Kale salad and grilled brussel sproughts."

  • "Very convenient when attending events at the Pantages. Valet parking is terrific. Best Brussel Sprouts I've ever had."

  • "My girlfriend and I decided last minute to go to Delphine for brunch before seeing a show across the street at the Pantages. Friendly hostess and knowledgeable, courteous server. Food was great, and we stopped by the bar inside the hotel afterward. Contemporary feel. Would definitely go back."

  • "Took KC there on her recommendation and for our first date. Very good food and service and the place is really nice. We were both impressed and will definitely return."

  • "we came here before the show and was wonderfully treated by the wait staff, even the hostess was accommodating of our tardiness. We ordered food from the bar and it was YUM!!! Pricey but matches the cost one would pay at the Pantages. Date Night! (and YUMMY Tuna Poke!)"

  • "We arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation. We volunteered to sit at the bar until our table was ready. The hostesses declined and then spent 7 or 8 minutes figuring out which table was available. Not sure why the hostesses would discourage customers from sitting at the bar. The kale salad was the highlight of the meal. My guest ordered scallops (as recommended by our server) and they were quite good. A little small on the portions, but that is to be expected. I had the New York Strip and substituted Smashed Weiser Potatoes as the side. My steak was bland and disappointing. The potatoes were dry and tasteless. My guest agreed with my assessment after sampling from my plate. The desert was average. Our server was good."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed the food and great service while eating at the restaurant. It was very nice that the staff was very attentive to your table and that the manager (Josh) was very attentive as well."

  • "The perfect restaurant for a meal before going to the Pantages. They get 90% of their business from it. You can tell when the show is about to start, the restaurant goes from busy and loud to empty and you can easily carry on a conversation. The food is prepared well, and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a 15% gratuity included on all bills. Be careful if you have cocktails just outside of the restaurant at "The Living Room", as they don't tell you that when they present the bill."

  • "This is a great place for dinner before the Pantages theater shows. Food and service are fabulous and you can walk right across the street to the show."

  • "We came to Delphine for dinner before a show at the Pantages and was lucky enough to get Katie, one of the best servers ever. The food was delicious. We started with appetizers of calamari and tempura prawns, followed by entrees of braised beef short ribs and the special pan-roasted Ehu fish. For dessert, we had the blueberry creme brulee and lemon tart. The dishes were all beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Highly recommend Delphine!"

  • "While the food was good the atmosphere was not as intimate as I expected for a W property. I have been to most and this felt very sterile compared to most of the restaurants. I would go if I want to be near the property but there are much better restaurants around Hollywood to go to."

  • "We went for our anniversary celebration and it was wonderful. Our waitress brought over two glasses of proseco and was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The manager also visited our table to wish us a happy anniversary and ask us how everything was. The food and specialty drinks were fabulous and the service was impeccable!"

  • "Perfect restaurant for after a play at the Pantages."

  • "Great place to go before a show at Pantages. Inside the W Hotel. Park at the hotel and Delphine validates parking for only $8. Food was excellent, price decent. Had Tuna Poke, Calamari, Kale Salad w/ Shrimp and Caesar Salad, 2 drafts, a glass of wine, all for $104 (included 15% gratuity automatically in the bill). Only complaint I had is that they offered bread, we said yes. They asked 15 minutes later if we got our bread, we said no, and guess what, never got our bread."

  • "I enjoyed a white wine I had never heard of or tasted before. The waitress was kind enough to bring a sample in case we didn't like it. It was Italian white grape that was light and delicious. The food choices were excellent and I loved my soup and salad."

  • "Went to Pantages to see Book of Mormon and decided to try Delphine's. Food was great but the service was awesome. My advice? Ask for Robin as she was attentive, professional and was spot on with her recommendations on dinner selections and drinks!"

  • "Had been wanting to go to Delphine for some time. Patages Theatre is right across the street, The Metro subway has a stop right there. Perfect! Right? Nope. It was a nice enough space, comfortable booth, lovely server. Even the floor manger was nice enough. I guess I was expecting more from the kitchen. It was sad. Shrimp cocktail that was billed as Colossal was more of a guppy! Cocktail sauce tasted store bought. Cheese fries were not as advertised; little cheese and too much truffle oil. This is a spot that is better to have a before show cocktail. I know there are several places within steps to have supper after the show."

  • "Great place to eat before Pantages, hotel is very cool too"

  • "Right across the street from the Pantages. The food was great and so was the service. Remember, they add in a 15% tip to the final bill. Would not have noticed if our server hadn't pointed it out. Gave him 20% anyway"
    Dined on 3/25/2014
  • "The waiter brought us the bill and my husband made a quick review and paid it. He also gave the waiter a 20% tip. It was not until I looked at the bill the next day and saw that the restaurant included a 15% tip in the total. I think the restaurant, and more particularly the waiter, should inform their diners of this procedure. We were not expecting it with a party of three. It was also very dark in the restaurant."

  • "We were about 5 minutes late for our reservation, but were seated immediately. Service started off great, then went a little downhill. We had tickets for the theater, so the waiter took our orders promptly and served us quickly (although he kept forgetting to bring our drinks!). Unfortunately, when it came time to pay the bill, he was nowhere to be found. I eventually had to get up to find him to get our bill. The food was good - a little too salty. I had the loop de mar and my friend had scallops. The beet salad was delicious. I've been to this restaurant about 4-5 times. I like the ambience and the decor of the restaurant and the bar at the hotel. I would still go back because overall I've had good experiences here."

  • "Right across the street from the Pantages Theatre is Delphine's in the W Hotel. The good: superlative food and service. The not-as-good: ambiance. The restaurant felt a bit like a converted Norm's Diner. Perhaps certain urban hipster types will find this acceptable, but for my taste it felt a little déclassé compared to menu. The menu should appeal to palates of all sophistications. We had bone-in Filet w/ triple cream Brillat-Savarin topped mille-feuille potato and red wine demi-glace oyster mushrooms. Perfection. The service was stellar. The ambiance notwithstanding, if you're seeing a show at the Pantages you'd be hard pressed to find finer dining. The rest of the W meets expectations for a W. And you'll get discounted valet parking."

  • "Awesome food, ambiance, and staff. Specialty drinks nice but a bit easy on the spirits. Delicious wine suggestion. Loved every minute at this place. Great for dinner before the show."

  • "Fun find, fabulous food and Frank, our waiter was fantastic too! Perfect for a special ocasión, pre or post theater or just a great meal. We'll be back!"

  • "We chose Delphine's because of its incredible proximity to the Pantages Theater. Service was good enough I had looked at the menu online and there were just a couple affordable entrees. But neither was actually on the menu. The prices were pretty outrageous. Who pays $15 for a small salad? In fact, I split a salad and had an appetizer for my entrée. We don't drink.. The total bill was $100 for two. And you must read the fine print in the very dim light to see that a VAT of 15% has been added to the bill. Since that practice is unusual, the waiter might point it out or the print might be readable. Beware, do not tip again."

  • "$200 without alcohol and I've honestly had better food at a diner. Service is good but the food is awful and not even what they describe on the menu. VERY disappointing!"
    Dined on 3/12/2014
  • "From the moment we checked in for our reservation - the staff could not have been more accommodating. We asked for a table move - no problem. Not sure on the wine - have a taste. What do you recommend for food - waiter is spot on. Just an overall very nice experience. The staff from beginning to end could not have been more service oriented or patient. Thank you! The only comment I would add is why valet parking - validated - would be $18!!!"

  • "When you go to LA for a play at the Pantage, this place is right across the St. The waitress was great when we needed a little extra attention and everyone was very attentive. Will always go to when in town for the play. Great night thanks."

  • "Great service. The charred Brussel Sprouts and Tempura Brocolli are delicious. Also the exotic brandy-cardomam-Champagne Cocktail is a deliciously different twist."

  • "6:30 Sunday show, went to Delphine not expecting too much. The W can be hit and miss. I thought it catered to the younger crowd. This was not my experience. The hostess was so friendly and our waitress Kim was awesome. She took great care of us and was easy to talk with. Loved it. Great food too. From the starters to the chocolate tart dessert. Fast too!"

  • "Had a really great experience at Delphine, prior to a show at the Pantages. We were celebrating a birthday and the Delphine team did everything they could to make it an outstanding evening. I received a call on the morning of our reservation, with offers of special touches for our celebration. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated at a great table. The server has clearly been prepared for our arrival as well. We didn't order anything particularly exotic, but the food was really delicious and well-presented. We were treated with outstanding, attentive service. They even comp'd our dessert -- very sweet! I would highly recommend Delphine. It's chic and sexy, and the overall experience was excellent. I'll be back."

  • "We arrived and the hostess tried to seat us near the door. We asked for a nicer location and she was not happy. She reluctantly seated us near the kitchen, and said that was the only table, although there were at least 10 empty tables. The waiter promptly took our order, but then we didn't see him for a while. There were several servers bringing out the drinks, appetizers and food, but they didn't seem able to take an order. Finally, one did go get our waiter so we could add a cup of tea to our dinner. The grilled loup (fish) was pretty bland. The kale salad was wonderful. We got the dessert menu, waited 15 min, but had to leave before we could order so we could get to the Pantages across the street. Disappointed."

  • "Food and service was superb. We went to the play at the Pantages……brought our own bottle of wine to celebrate….Still ended up paying about $150 for an appetizer and two entrees…. The Salmon was delis…..but about $30 and the portion was more like an appetizer."
