It was absolutely amazing. The service is great, its nice and quiet. The food is AMAZING. They have the best steaks and mashed potatoes I've ever had. The service was excellent in every respect. The servers were checking back to see how everything was, whether we needed more water, etc. But they did not return overly frequently to be annoying. The steaks are nothing short of spectacular, I had the Delmonico and my wife had the filet. I started out with the lobster bisque which was fantastic also. The wine list is very impressive and assuredly will contain a selection to suit every taste. We found the atmosphere to be romantic, as expected, the only negative being an excessively loud group seated at an adjoining table. Pricey but well worth it. My wife didn't like the flavor of the bread that was brought warm to the table. I thought the bread had great flaver. My wife loved the pasta and veal even though the meatballs were much spicier than she is accustomed to. My steak came perfectly seasoned, and cooked. The Delmonico steaks I have had in the past were soft and buttery. This cut had a little more sinew than I remember. The service was top notch. The wine list was extensive and we enjoyed our choice. The manager came by several times to serve us our food and to check up on us. Every course was prepared wonderfully. Try the sweet peppers stuffed with bersain cheese-delicious. We both had steaks - Delmonico and center-cut sirloin - they were perfectly cooked to our specs and so tender.
