  • "All of the food was delicious and perfect portions. The chocolate cake was heavenly."

  • "One of the best spots in the neighborhood! Love the Tuscan Kale Salad. A place to eat a bigger or smaller meal, whatever your mood."

  • "Service was good. Terrible foods! Had the worst onion rings in my life. Risotto was salty. Steak was tasteless. Baked Alaska was very sweet. Didn't enjoy it and not recommended"

  • "As usual, the food was superb, the service a bit less than superb, but more than adequate. Enjoyed a great bottle of wine and a delicious porterhouse. Watched WC soccer at the bar before dinner and had the privilege of being served by beautiful Sherri the bartender. Not only gorgeous, but she charged my phone as well!!!"

  • "Dennis and the entire staff are simply the best! The food is great and this is the by far the neighborhood gem for those who love great and service."

  • "from the timwe we walked into the restaurant our expectations were met. They held our reservation (we were running late) We told them we had a show to go to and they served us appropriately. The food was delicious and the service was immpecable. I would highly reccomend Derlmonicos Kitchen"

  • "The front door won't grab your attention -- but once you are inside, the service and steak will win you over. We picked Delmonico's Kitchen because it was close to where we needed to be this day and they were offering a Groupon. I am very glad we went. The scallop appetizer was delicious and all our steaks were cooked perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly. Give them a try!"

  • "I came here with a groupon and would certainly not come back again with or without a deal. In fairness, I enjoyed the sea scallop appetizer and the Delmonico steak. For $19, we only received two seared scallops served on butternut squash puree. I enjoyed the sweet/savory combo but my dining partner found the sweetness to be off-putting. We also ordered a poorly executed salmon entree, crispy sweet onions (much too oily especially after topped with bleu cheese and bacon), the crab mac and cheese (the portion size and the amount of crab you get is not worth the $18 price tag), and the brussel sprouts looked old and were mushy. For dessert, the baked alaska was not memorable and the stale lukewarm coffee was just unforgivable."

  • "As always, steaks were cooked to perfection and Lobster appetizer was exceptionally good on a warm summer night. Delicious!!!"

  • "We took some guests from Spain for a typical American steakhouse dinner and were very happy with everything from this restaurant. Perfectly cooked steaks, great tuna tartar, and sides were throughly enjoyed. The service was attentive and very nice."

  • "Went there with my wife for a nice intimate dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was Excellent, lobster cocktail was AMAZING with the star actually being the cocktail sauce. The dinner itself was great as well. I got the special rib eye which was like butter! Service wsa great as well, they treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant even though it was a pretty packed evening. Highly Recommend Delmonico's Kitchen!"

  • "in the heart of the garment center- your basic steakhouse- good selection of options in menu, specials daily, attentive service oh and the steaks -- well thats a matter of personal preference, I and my wife find them to be of high quality"

  • "I went to Delmonico's Kitchen with a few friends and we had the Delmonico's Tower, Porterhouse, Creamed Spinach, and Skillet Hash. The Delmonico's tower was a tower of seafood with lobster, jumbo shrimp, crab, tuna tartar and oysters. It was pretty good and the crab meat was taken out of the shell already. The lobster was also already partially shelled and cut. The Porterhouse was ordered medium rare, it came out medium rare but the outsides were a bit too charred. The creamed spinach was good and the skillet hash was quite delicious. Overall the food was pretty good."

  • "I was able to get a table last minute. Food was good but convenience more the factor in going there."
    Dined on 6/21/2014
  • "We each had the Delmonico Steak - the steaks were prepared to our requested doneness - medium rare. However, the service was not what I would have expected. Our server did not do a good job of explaining all the specials of the day. I heard more of the specials when he was relating them to the table next to us which was at the end of our meal. Also, the wine list was very outdated - I was at my 4th choice before they had one in stock. When I mentioned this the waiter did say they update the list every couple of weeks, but the restaurant should consider updating more often if they run out that fast of particular wines."

  • "We arrived at Delmonico's Kitchen without a reservation and were told there's absolutely no seating available. I went on Open Table Table and there were ample reservations available. When I showed up at the hostess stand, reservation in hand, only then was I seated. We ordered filet mignon, Delmonico's special cut and Brussels sprouts. The food, I kid you not, came out within less than 5 minutes, which tells me none of it was cooked to order. While the degree of doneness was correct, both steaks were almost burned on the outside, and wetter lacking in flavor and seasoning. Considering each steak was over $50, it was a huge gap between price and quality. Brussels sprouts were completely overcooked and mushy. I will not return."

  • "Went before Stanley cup game, we were in the back room and it was very noisy. Otherwise I'll be back, quality food and good service. Very convenient to MSG."

  • "Very tasty. First time at this restaurant, would recommend to others. We had an early dinner before seeing Jersey Boys and it was nearly empty when we arrived but half full when we left."

  • "Unbeknownst to us, our reservation was 45 minutes prior to the start of a New York Rangers game. When we arrived, the restaurant was PACKED, and was so loud it was unbearable. The manager was very understanding, and assured us as game time approached the place would become far less boisterous. He was right! By 15 minutes to game time, we had the place practically to ourselves. The Delmonica steak was one of the best I've ever had - they do it right. It's big though (20 ounces), more enough to split. Also a very good wine list. Wouldn't hesitate to go back next time we're in NYC, just not an an event night at MSG. "

  • "Amidst the midtown chaos and high volume of tourists, inside Delmonico's Kitchen its quite different. You're greeted by a very friendly hostess and wonderful GM who never forgets a face no matter how much time passes. The service is prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. Great for a short or long business lunch or an afternoon cocktail. You can't beat local farm to table ingredients as well as a well known executive chef- you can certainly taste the quality in every bite. Definitely two thumbs up.... Will certainly head back (as I have been for years- sporadically). "

  • "We got a Groupon for Delmonico's Kitchen for our visit to NYC and were delighted with the excellent service and delicious food. The Delmonico Potatoes were the best potatoes we have ever had and the steaks were delicious. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area."

  • "If you're looking for a tender, perfectly cooked rib eye (the Delmonico steak) then this is the place to get it. The meal starts with warm, fresh herbed bread. I recommend sharing a salad or appetizer and saving your appetite for your entree! The Delmonico potatoes are a rich, creamy side worth getting, and again there's more than enough for two people to share. The wait staff is attentive and pleasant. Sit back and enjoy a leisurely evening! We've been here three times and have yet to share a dessert because we're too full!"

  • "We bought a groupon, which was an amazing deal. However, this is a good steak place anyway. They were incredibly accommodating with respect to taking bacon out of the Brussels sprouts, and taking panchetta out of the potatoes. Service was great, food very good. "

  • "We began our celebration in the bar with a great bottle of champagne and a knowledgeable server. Moved into the dining room and had another great server, very attentive. The bussing by other waiters lacked a bit. Our daughter and her husband loved the steaks, two different kinds. My husband and I had salmon that was also quite good. We ordered a few extra sides including the salad special, asparagus, roasted rutabaga (surprisingly delicious!) and roasted cauliflower. No complaints whatsoever about the food! It would be a place to return to for another special occasion."

  • "Will continue to dine there when in the MSG area. Waiters were on their game, food was excellent, and we had plenty of time to eat and walk over to concert "

  • "Delicious dinner, my husband and I came on the early side, so we were seated at 5:30 pm. I enjoyed the wine, the crab cake, and the filet. The seasoning on the filet was quite heavy, but not unbearable, and the chef did a great job on the crust!! "

  • "Excellent Porterhouse steak on menu for 2 or more. Be sure to consider their excellent specials which included a bone-in steak option the afternoon we visited. Compliments to Cristian for the excellent service."

  • "Nice restaurant but, like all steak houses, quite expensive."

  • "Everything we had was very good but none of the dishes we had was great My steak was slightly better than my spouses short ribs, they lacked flavor. Side dishes and our salads were both very good and reasonably priced for the quality. Wine list was extensive and the service was far above average. "

  • "We stopped by for an early dinner on our way to the Javits Center from Long Island. Given the time (5:30pm on Friday), the restaurant was not crowded and the wait staff was extremely attentive to my parties needs. The risotto was tasty as was the swordfish offered as a daily special. Wine list contained a good array of selections though a bit overpriced by understandable for the location. Desserts were delicious as we had their signature baked Alaska as well as their chocolate cake."

  • "The steaks were good but very expensive. Their special hamburger was terrible. You would be better at five guys. When I mentioned the burger issue to the boss his attitude was like "not his problem" no offer to make it write. "

  • "The best baby kale salad ever. And the Jim Brady oysters were melt in your mouth. Delicious filet mignon, grilled to perfection. I was not a rib eye fan, but changed my mind after sampling my husband's dinner. WOW! Buttery and tender. Put my first experience eating rib eye to shame (while dining at Peter Luger's, btw). We would go back in a heartbeat and look forward to it."

  • "I have been here a few times and it's a solid lunch spot. Just a lilttle loud during lunch to bring a client. The food was very good and they have moderately priced lunches. The specials are great just make sure to ask how much......they are not priced with the lunch menu......"

  • "Even for a New York Steak House it was way overpriced..$140.00 for the "special" rib steak for two..$18.00 for a small glass of "house" red. I think New Yorkers are becomming numb to the price gouging, but this restaurant takes it to a new level."

  • "It was ~3/4 full and not overly busy. Went for a business lunch and were seated promptly. Waited 10-15 minutes for a menu to arrive. the waiter seemed to disappear. food took a little longer than expected to come out given it wasn't really busy and its lunch time. Kicker was it took waiter 10 minutes to retrieve a diet coke refill and after taking my empty glass of club soda, there was no offer to refill which I would have liked. From out of town and chose this place for convenience and the good food but would not recommend for a business lunch."
