Definitely very good, but did not quite live up to the expectations we had. We very much like CarneVino and prefer it to Delmonico after trying it. Food was just not quite as good as I thought it would be. Steak (filet) was cooked perfectly but had quite a bit of fat in it which surprised me. Wife's chicken dish was very tender but lacked flavor. Gnochi appetizer special was awesome. Service was spectacular.
Overall, a great experience and good food. This past visit, however, seemed to be lacking in several areas. The food quality was not up to par. It was good, but not great (as I remember it being many times in the past). The biggest turn-off was when they cleared my leftovers (I was taking home 1/2 a rib eye and some sides), the bus boy placed dirty dishes on the same plate as my leftovers - then boxed the food for me to take home. I explained this to the waiter who reprimanded the bus boy right in front of us. It just wasn't the same experience as it had been in the past. We decided next time we are in Vegas, we might try a Gordon Ramsey establishment instead.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOne Wonderful EveningOn a recent business trip to Las Vegas I wanted to treat my best customers to a remarkable evening for steak. Delmonico Steakhouse came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. The understated but elegant design was easy on the eyes. Then came our waiter and his attentive staff. We started the evening with a nice velvet like Pinot Nior followed by a well constructed cheese tray. The mix of cheeses were amazing. Then the main event. Bone in ribeyes and filets. Cooked to perfection. Well marbled and dry aged resulting in the best steaks we have ever eaten. Then the bomb, banana cream pie. I am not a big banana fan. But, this dessert must be tried. The waiters were very attentive but not overbearing. Your water glass never got very low. Very quiet and dim lighted to give a wonderful atmosphere. I'm not a wine drinker but they did have quite the wine list. Definitely recommend the heirloom tomato salad and the ribeye. The steak just melted in your mouth. Also if you want a side dish make sure you have someone to share with because it is way too much for one person. It is very pricey but well worth the money! I easily and swiftly made the reservation online using OpenTable, and was hoping for the best...and we were all blown away by the experience! It absolutely went above and beyond our expectations on food, service, atmosphere, especially food! Best meal I have ever tasted, HANDS DOWN!!! Service was amazing and professional! I will definitely be recommending this to friends! OpenTable made it effortless to ensure a great experience, and I just downloaded the iphone app too! The food was great and it didn't really break the bank. There were 9 of us and the bill came out to a little over $900. We had 3 bottles of wine and probably the best find of the dinner was Tito's vodka. Somebody suggested shots and just said "vodka" to the server. She came back with something that she said was only like 50 cents more than the house vodka but is highly recommended. I agree, it was great. It topped of a great meal, great wine, great people and great vodka! Not a place to "see and be seen" as it is mostly groups of 4-10 men and the decor is fairly sparse (but the leather chairs are very comfortable). The dining room was beautiful; we've walked by there countless times prior to dining and we had no idea how large and beautiful it was once pass the hostess desk. The treatment we received from the wait staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. Frank was our server and we went with several of his recommendations and they were amazing. My sister had the bone in rib eye and I had the filet. Both were cooked perfectly. The salads and sides were also really great. Two other wait staff took care of us as well so we never had an empty wine glass or water glass. First class all the way. Deserts looked amazing but we didn't have room for anything else. This second visit did NOT disappoint; the waitstaff (Michael and jose come to mind) was superb, the wine list is VERY impressive, and my steak from that night rates in the top five in my entire life. The room was a bit loud for what you would expect at an upscale restaurant, but we were seated near the middle of the larger dining room, so probably the loudest spot in the house. A corner table, or a table near the front would probably be a bit quieter if that's what you're after. Dishes that night were the barbequed shrimp(app), prime rib filled ravioli (app), grilled salmon (main), bone-in rib-eye steak (main), potatoes au gratin (side), sauteed mushrooms (side), and apple fritters (dessert). All were cooked perfectly and served at the right temperature, except the bbq shrimp which were a bit tough but still very tasty. had the butternut squash ravioli, they come out so HOT and lightly sweet with the oil and chopped nuts, the flaky biscuit rolls will fill you up fast especially with that fatty creamy butter, so go easy, two tops. iceberg wedge salad, just average, as good as an outback wedge, wont knock you over for flavor, and the creamed corn, some nights its on fire for spicy flavor, other nights its more mild, but the temp is always outrageously HOT, so dont burn yourself. and filet is good yes, just not this night, but thats another $50 and be prepared to EAT! if youre adding this altogether.

The food and service were excellent. I opted for a filet with oscar sauce and it was well worth the $70. Well aged tasty beef. Great salad (very ripe tomatoes as promised) and excellent desserts. We had a combination of three different servers and all did a great job. Sides included steamed asparagus and garlic wild mushrooms. Both excellent. The food was quite filling so we felt we didn't really need two sides. My ribeye was approx 22oz plus the fois gras on top so I was stuffed before we got to dessert. The food is beyond good. The ribeye melts in your mouth. You really don't even have to chew. The service is second to none. 3 people wait on you at a time and they are there for your every need.
