A word from Delmonico Steakhouse
Chef Emeril Lagasse's take on the grand American steakhouse. Delmonico Steakhouse brings back a time when lunch was an event, cocktail hour was not to be missed and dinner with friends was a celebration. At Delmonico Steakhouse, we remember. Located in The Venetian l Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, Delmonico Steakhouse takes its name from the legendary, century-old New Orleans institution, Delmonico Restaurant and Bar.Continued

  • "This restaurant was recommended by many people. Our steaks came the wrong temperature and we send them back the second steaks was still wrong and dry. The service was good however the food was not as good as a service. The sad thing about this is both of our steaks were bad but we only got comp for one steak."

  • "Went there two nights ago, and it was terrific. We foolishly booked a 7pm reservation though we had Rock of Ages tickets for 8pm at the theater right next door. They told us it was no problem, and didn't miss a beat, bringing everything on time, while not rushing it at all. The food was incredible. We split a baby greens salad, a little small to split but doable, each had the peppercorn crusted filet, cooked perfectly, and smashed potato. The only disappointment was that we could not stick around for dessert!"

  • "I have been visiting Delmonico Steakhouse since 2001 and I am overly satisfied every time we done there. One of the best cuts of beef on the Strip. It is one of the main reasons why the Venetian and Palazzo wrestled away my business from Caesars."

  • "Normally I like my steaks dry aged a minimum of 40 days, but the preparation, taste, 28 day dry age steak was phenomenal. Perfect combination of texture (wet aged) and taste (dry aged)"

  • "From starting drinks at the bar to the final desserts, exactly what we were looking for in a dining experience. Accommodating service, they handled special requests with ease and the food was spot on."

  • "I had high expectations for this Emeril restaurant and was not disappointed. The gumbo and the potato chips were amazing! Not to mention the "kicked-up" steaks which were mouth watering. Service was top-notch. My party of four loved it!!!"

  • "The food, wine list, servers and sommelier are amongst the best in the US. My daughter and I left having had a wonderful experience and looking forward to a chance to return."

  • "My husband and I celebrated my 40th birthday in Vegas. I am a very pickey eater and I had heard of this restaurant before. We shared a shrimp cocktail. Very good! To my surprise, the chef prepare a nice watermelon soup for our table. Very nice touch husband and the soup was delicious. I had the Bbq salmon for my entree. My husband had the bone-in ribeye. Salmon perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed his steak. The most enjoyable part of the evening was John, the captain in charge of service. Excellent service, very attentive, nice smile. We go out pretty often back home and he is absolutely the best!!! I even ended the night with a surprise melon sorbet. Thanks John so much for making my birthday very memorable!!!"

  • "The steaks were wonderful and full of flavor and cooked perfectly and the staff were attentive. The tableside Caesar salad and steak tartare both lacked flavor and were very disappointing. The décor was also lacking. The walls were bare except for the nails where pictures were once hung. With so many choices of quality steak houses in Vegas to choose from, I will go to another for my next steak."

  • "Expect to load your credit card. Everything is extremely pricey even by Las Vegas standards. Food is not exceptional. Very stark ambience almost as if someone forgot to decorate. Service was not as attentive as Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse in Paris which made us feel very appreciated. Emeril restaurants are just not at the same standard as some other chefs (B&B in Venetian is better too) but for some reason they are among the highest priced."

  • "Good food, expensive but it is Vegas and a Emeril restaurant, couple more days and I wouldn't have had to ask where the bathroom was I could have just followed my nose."

  • "I have been to Delmonico in New Orleans and wanted to try it in Vegas. I had an great filet with bearnaise sauce and yummy potatoes. The food and service were really incredible. My Fiance and I are from Texas and wanted to find a steakhouse that had menu items that were familiar and tasty. Will go back when I visit Vegas again!"

  • "The food was very good. I started off with a nice candied bacon, candied hazelnut and frisee salad. I prefer well-done steaks and this was one of the few where the bone-in ribeye was still juicy with a nice char. Traditional steakhouse fare, but with some Louisiana twists (gumbo), which made it more interesting. The service was fine, but not as enthusiastic as other restaurants in Vegas. My cocktail (a Pisco sour) was terrible; however, the wine list was decent. Very subdued birthday sorbet (although it tasted well) that was just presented with "Oh, someone is having a birthday...you...happy birthday, here you are". I would recommend for a romantic evening or a good steakhouse dinner or a simple celebration."

  • "The good was amazing...I had the fried teen tomatoes and bone-in ribeye. The banana cream pie is to die for!! I did however, get an email from open table stating that my reservations were cancelled after I already ate there...I found that kind of strange. Other than that...it was an awesome experience and I can't wait to come back to Las Vegas and come here again!!"

  • "We went there for our anniversary. It is definitely a special occasion place. The service was amazing. We both agreed these were the best steaks we have ever eaten. The cocktail list was very impressive. This is a high end restaurant, and pricey, but worth every penny every once in a while."

  • "Quiet and quaint, yet big. Nice space between all the tables so you never feel as if others are listening in. The appetizers were very nice on the pallet and the waiter did a great job in selecting our wine. The filet mignon melted in your mouth - but when you have a good cut of meat, it's hard to hurt it (unless you eat yours well done.) Nice to get away from the noise and clatter around the casino!"

  • "2 employees were taking inventory at 7 pm. The bartender assisting us was great and friendly, and speaking with us about vegas and world cup along with another employee. One of the ones doing inventory, James was his name told the bartender to stop talking as he could not hear the inventory count. This was not very customer service friendly and made us feel uncomfortable. Should inventory really be done at this time and should we as paying customers have to sit there in silence."

  • "I had bone in rib eye and wife a smaller stake both were outstanding, could almost cut with a fork. Don't think I have had any better. The sides were well prepared and very good. Service was warm, welcoming and attentive but not overpowering. Some restaurants make you feel "less" if you don't order everything including wine but not here. The best way I can describe the experience was outstanding food in very comfortable suroundings."

  • "Always make this a priority lunch spot. Great food at very reasonable price for Vegas strip. Truffle chips amazing. Husband loves steak medallions. Asked to hold bacon but not done so promptly replaced with apology. Never have room for dessert."

  • "Delmonico's is our favorite restaurant. We try to go there every time we go to Las Vegas. The Caesar Salad prepared tableside is the best one we have ever had. This time we shared the bone-in Ribeye which was prepared just the way we like it. Our side dish was the very tasty mushrooms. Thank-you for a wonderful evening out."

  • "The unique cocktails, impressive wine list, extensive menu, boasting both traditional New Orleans fare as well as other exceptional choices, delicious desserts, though, in my mind, you can't beat their AMAZING banana cream pie:) the food alone is worth a visit but when it's paired with the brilliantly talented Chef Ronnie, exquisite presentation, luxurious surroundings, and absolutely superior service, there isn't a reason in the world you can pass up a meal at Delmonico's in Las Vegas. It's a must!!! We visit Delmonico's AT LEAST once anytime we make it to Vegas! Take it from a New Orleans girl, who knows great food, it's not a place to miss!"

  • "The service was outstanding and the food was exceptionally good. I had the salmon and didn't quite know what to expect with bar-b-q sauce but it was wonderful. Everyone else had steak and they were all very complimentary. Ordered the banana cream pie for dessert and 1 slice was enough for 4. Will definitely come back."

  • "My 3rd time at Delmonico's was a huge disappointment. Previously, I had great dining experiences, which prompted me to bring a group of colleagues to Delmonicos for dinner. The restaurant was not willing to put 2 tables together for our larger group, despite the fact that I had made the reservation a couple of weeks in advance for a Wednesday night. I was disappointed to see that they had put tables together for other large groups the night we were there. The service was increadibly bland. We were a lively group, eager to have a fun dinner, and it would have been nice if the wait staff had attempted to engage us even a little."

  • "We went for lunch. Apps were the gumbo and the chips, both were very good. Main course was Lobster Sliders, they were just so so. Plenty of lobster but short on flavor. Dessert was Banana Pie, very yummy. All and all we had an enjoyable experience but won't be coming back anytime soon. I wasn't blown away by the food, which I have been at other Strip restaurants, it was good just not memorable. The service was second to none...well done Peter."

  • "We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary with you and appreciated the appetizer and dessert we were offered. Service was nice and food was fine for a nice steakhouse. We have always celebrated special occasions at capital grille and we had expectations that Delmonicos would be comparable. Capital grill has the edge on "special" for sure. Dining there is more of an "event" and Delmonicos is more of just a nice place to eat. Food was good but not special. Atmosphere was ok but not a romantic feel at all. Not a bad experience by any means....just not special."

  • "Foodies have to try the BBQ salmon. Unbelievable mixture of tastes that'll knock your socks off. We also had the beef filet. It was cooked to perfection and the taste was great. The wine selection is very broad and can fit every taste. Would definitely recommend and will eat here again next time in Vegas. When in doubt always choose the chef with a Louisiana background!"
