Della Terravery niceI had not been here before but met some clients for lunch there because of the location. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Everyone liked what they had. They have a Monday night pasta special which a co-worker of my client had heard about and after eating lunch there my client said they would come back to check out the pasta special as they live in the neighborhood and thought the food was quite nice. Indoor and outdoor areas were very nice. Pasta is always perfectly cooked, the pizzas are great thanks to the wood-burning oven and there are a lot of great wines by the glass. Followed the server's suggestion about wine and he was dead on right with a suggestion none of us had ever heard of before. Fried calamari appetizers were shared--they were good, nothing special. Entrees were amazing. Lamb chops, shrimp risotto, lasagna, lobster/shrimp ravioli, and sausage pasta all were superb. Huge portions so some of most everything went home with us, too. Chef has a light touch, subtle flavors that somehow explode in your mouth. Shared a brioche bread pudding that was incredibly good. A leisurely, delicious meal with outstanding service in a simple setting. The food is delicious every time, whether I'm having pasta, pizza or a main entree—it's always tasty. The guys that run the place are fantastic. They know how to make everyone feel welcome.
