Everything fresh, delicious and served by friendly people. Old standards with new presentation....like sweet and sour chicken and Kung Pao. Rendezvous specialties that set the cuisine at the top.

Why does one go back to a restaurant time after time? Great, fresh food lovingly and expertly prepared! The menu is varied and innovative and there is something for every type of diet. Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Meat Lover, Fish Afficianado and those tempted by dessert.
The staff is attentive, but not intrusive, and will listen to your needs. We were VERY pleasantly surprised and how good everything was. We were expecting run of the mill Chinese food, but the food was fantastic. The imperial shrimp was my favorite, and their menu is huge, so we will be back to try other things. The person that seated us wasn't overly friendly, but our server Paul made up for that. The beef was very tender, but wasn't as spicy as he would have liked. He added Siracha to help with the spice and liked it much better. The Triple S chicken was very good! Spicy with a little sweetness! Definitely would order again. We had the egg flower soup, seared sesame ahi, walnut shrimp, braised beef and egg fried rice. All excellent. Both my wife and I said it was the best meal we've had in months. In other reviews we heard that the portions were small - we found them to be perfect for an average adult seeking unique flavors vs. volume. They never have an off-night. One of the many highlights is the shrimp -- regardless of the preparation, these are always fresh, tender, meaty, and delicious. On this visit, three of us each ordered a different shrimp dish (walnut, with lobster sauce, and Kung Pao), and all were terrific. They were all wonderful, but the best by far was the "Triple S Chicken" which has a Sriracha sweet and sour sauce - just amazing! We also enjoyed the Mongolian Steak, the Ma Po Tofu (a total test dish for me at Chinese places, and they did it well, winning my vote), and BBQ spare ribs to start. Then, we decided to enjoy some dessert too - the Chocolate Wipe Out (oh, wow!) - and some fantastic sparkling Moscato, even better at half price being a Wed. night. The service was quick and very friendly (thanks, Andres), and it was great having validated parking in the lot behind the center.
