We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was and the service as very good. The waiter was on it and treated us really well and checked on us frequently. Place was a bit dark and the music was interesting--didn't quite match the ambiance. We were fortunate to sit in one of the booths by the window. There is an energenic vibe here - but just enough to let you know you are in the "heart lf it all" in NYC. I highly recommend the filet mignon which was cooked to our exact taste. We took the suggestion of the waitress for the appetizers - the crab with lobster sause and the cheese stead egg rolls. Both were delicious - try them! We shared sides of the spinach, asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. I would again highly recommend especially the spinach and mashed potatoes. Plus the pretzel bread is a welcomed plus! Dessert - terrific - coconut cream pie! Don't miss it! We choose the cheesesteak eggroll appy... melt in your mouth delicious. As entree, my husband had the NY strip.. which he said was one of the best he has ever eaten... ( he was a Ben Benson devotee !) and the iceberg wedge dripping with cramy blue cheese and loaded with thick chunks of wonderful bacon.
I choose the sliced steak , served with the pommes frites and roasted tomato. Yummy.... !
Two beers and two glasses of malbec.. tab was 140 before tip. typical NY pricing... Astronomical NY experience !

Our waiter was extremely helpful, and also seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. I had a the New York strip steak, and it was without a doubt the best steak I have ever had. Prices are a little high, but nothing outrageous by New York standards. Their wine list had no less than a dozen pages. A friend had told me about the restaurant prior to travelling to NYC and his recommendation did not disappoint. The food was fantastic and the service outstanding. Our group of six all had variations of steak and each was cooked to perfection. We ordered a selection of sides which were delicious but the surprise, at least for me, was the Mac n Cheese - outstanding!
