We arrived before them so started with a drink at their well stocked bar. When we got word that the other couple was going to be late, the staff made immediate adjustments to our Open Table reservation.
Dinner was equally as accommodating! The staff's knowledge of the wine list was accurate and helpful. Each drink matched our meals, perfectly! And speaking of meals, everything came out together and was cooked to order perfection.
Lastly, we advised the staff both through our reservation and at check-in that we where already slated to see a movie. EVERYONE was made aware of this and did their part to speed us along, without rushing us. We were a little late, but were immediately greeted with a warm smile and were brought to our table. Service was very prompt, without being overbearing. My boyfriend and both shared the deviled eggs with truffle oil, which were just fine, and we each also ordered the Filet Mignon and shared an order of grilled asparagus. The steaks were absolutely amazing. Cooked not fraction short of perfection. They were like butter that melted in your mouth. The only criticism I might have would be with the general ambiance. I think that the tables in the center of the room (along side the bar) would have been too noisy. There were 4 of us and I was the only one a little disappointed with the food. I wouldn't recommend the grilled cheese sandwich--if I hadn't added tomato to it, it might have been compeltely flavorless! The sole with lump crabmeat was bland and the coating was soggy. I switched to crab cake sliders which were delicious but the french fries were warm at best. My dining partner had the chicken wrap which was good, but then her french fries were cold. I have been at this restaurant three times and have not gotten anything that wasn't good. The salads are very good and refreshing, I haven't tried anything else but will the next time I go. Heirloom tomato salad left much to be desired. But none of that mattered once the nightly special, surf and turf, came out -- the crab cake with a cajun remoulade was amazing, and the cut of steak was superb. server Missy was also terrific - constantly checking in, courteous, super cheerful, friendly and fun. she's what you hope for in a server.

I did expect the tuna to be seared though given that it was in a taco, but it was not. It gave a sushi feel to a taco... I would have it again though. Waiter took an inordinate amount of time to get to our table, plates were always mixed up when they arrived, which is not a big deal except when they can't figure out who's steak is who's. sides arrived about 5 min after steaks, one of the sides we didn't even order. Manager came by to check when sides were missing, apologized, said shed make iy worth out while but nothing ever came of it. My husband was enamored with his Blue Crab flatbread, and it was pretty darn good. My Steakhouse Salad was the right combination of a well-cooked steak and crisp salad. The deviled eggs were a fun addition. The lemon cake was okay -- flavor was good but it had a dry texture as though it had sitting out too long. Overall, we really liked the place, it has tasty food and quick service. My boy friend and I had an amazing time dining at Del Frisco. He had the steak salad which was extremely delicious. Everything tasted so fresh from the avocados to the tomatoes, even the deviled eggs had a wonderful flavor. I ordered the pasta with lemon chicken and garlic Parmesan cream sauce. The sauce was very light, not too filling and The pasta was cooked to perfection. The fresh spinach gave the dish some color and was equally as tasty. The greeters are so super friendly and very attentive. The waiter staff make sure that you are comfortable and get you whatever you need...did I meantion how they refill your beverage without you really even having to ask. The food has corrupted me from all other fine dining establishments. I have been to the Washington, DC location several times, and the service is consistent.
