  • "Eagerly awaiting the opening of Del Frisco's Grille, our first visit turned into a big disappointment, starting with an unexplained 20 minute wait for our drinks. Although the restaurant was only half full, the noise level was so bad six of us found ourselves yelling across the table. As the evening light diminished so did the lighting inside. Our overhead table light was so dim we had to request a flashlight to read the menus. Management was unable to improve the light to a decent level. As for the food, the chopped Caesar Salad, 8 oz filet mignons, and short rib stroganoff were well prepared. The sole francese was lackluster, both in taste and presentation and the meatloaf was extremely salty and barely warm. We won't return anytime soon."

  • "Went here for my birthday dinner with 3 friends and my girlfriend. Went all out and bought the New York Strip steak, it was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, but honestly a little pricey. Overall I enjoyed the meal, and they gave me a free piece of Lemon Cake for my birthday which was awesome! They also gave me a card that all the ladies had signed haha. Good night with great friends"

  • "The food was terrific, but the ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. We love Del Frisco's and were thrilled that the Grille was open near us. The bright neon red sign (inside) and the cement floors do not remind me of Del Frisco's. If only the building was turned around facing the trees, the patio seating both upstairs and on the ground level would be wonderful. Instead they both overlook a parking lot and a very busy street. You could be looking into trees instead of pavement. We had an enthusiastic waiter but the food runners drop food and do not check to see how things are - the coffee was cold but there was no one to tell. The chowder, the sole and the veal meatloaf all terrific, but the huge neon sign and the warehouse feel?????"

  • "Dined late on a Sunday night and had great service from Ashley. She was attentive and the food was perfectly done, even though she let us know that the kitchen had lost our ticket and that it would take an extra minute (we hadn't even noticed since it had only been 10 minutes since she took our order, but very proactive on her part to tell us!). We'll be back again for brunch to see if the menu is as good as dinner. Outdoor seating looked beautiful. Second floor bar (didn't see the 1st floor setup) has everything a modern bar patron desires: comfy chairs, a rail for your feet, under-bar hooks for your purse/jacket, and outlets to charge your cell phone -- hats off to the designer for making sure all the bases were covered!"

  • "The food was delicious & beautifully presented. We had the Ahi Tuna Salad - slightly heavy on the dressing, but still wonderfully prepared ahi & very flavorful, the Brown Bag Fish - cooked perfectly, melted in your mouth, fresh vegetables full of flavor & beautiful color, & the Nutella BreadPudding w/ coffee ice cream, absoltely amazing. We will certainly be back to try some of the other wondeful items we saw going out to others tables. The service was also great, our server was attentive & knowledgable about the menu, the manager also came over to say congratulations as well as make sure our meal was pleasant. The only reason I rated Ambience as 'good' was that we sat outside & the road noise could be distracting at times"

  • "You would never know that the restaurant has only been open a month. Lots of little touches, like adding your own accompaniments to bloody marys or personal ketchups for your burgers. Food really was excellent, the service was terrific (even the dining room manager, who couldn't have been more courteous when an unfortunate incident occurred with our car in the parking lot!) Definitely one to try out next time you need a nice restaurant in Burlington."

Ambiance: not a metropolitan upscale upper restaurant compared to city eateries; more like an upped Houston's several cuts above TGIF et al. Booths and seating materials (b grade on purpose it appears with redish lighting predominant) plus extra space (comparative to most) between tables. just right for informal "nice" night out" high demand for upstairs and in front outdoor seating (reserve and get there early)."

  • "This restaurant was average with an above average price tag. I tried to make a reservation for 6pm, but the restaurant indicated that it didn't have availability after 5pm or before 9pm. We arrived at 5pm and by 6pm the restaurant was only half full. When we asked why they wouldn't accept our 6pm reservation, they said they didn't want to overwhelm the kitchen in the event they had "walk-ins." Although the restaurant wasn't full, it was very noisy and chaotic. I understand Del Frisco's Grill in Burlington has only been open about 3 weeks; so, I might consider giving it another try in 6 months."

  • "The waiter was very nice and attentive when with us; however, service was very slow in terms of ordering and receiving drinks. When our drinks were finally served, the woman who came from the bar spilled a white sangria all over a member of our party, then said she'd be right back with a towel and never came back! No apology or offer to comp the drink or meal, or even offer to pay the cleaning bill! The food was excellent, sides were good, although small portioned and pricey."

  • "We celebrated my son's birthday at Del Frisco's. This is the second time my husband and I have been there. Our waitstaff on both occasions were great. The first time, the restaurant had just opened, and the service was almost too attentive. The second time, it had settled in, and was excellent. I had the tuna steak entree this time, and the last time I had the lobster roll. Both times I've been there, I thought the food was very good, but suffered from being over-salted. The cole slaw that went with the lobster roll was so salty I couldn't eat it. If the kitchen could ratchet back the sodium a bit, it would be great. Overall I really like Del Friscos, it just needs a couple of tweaks to make it an across-the-board excellent."

We would have sent them back but it took nearly 45 minutes to get them that it was too late and we were starving. We won't be going back. . ."

  • "After reading some of the other reviews about this establishment going through the typical new restaurant growing pains (slow service, misplaced orders, etc.), we were a bit reluctant to give it a try. However, the evening was a lot of fun, the food was good, and everyone is right about needing to try the ahi tuna tacos! They were great, and I wish the portion was larger so they could serve as an entree. Our server, Thuy, was spectacular. (Request her if you can and you will be treated like royalty.) We had the brown bag fish, which was very well done, and topped it off with decadence in the form of coconut cream pie and Nutella bread pudding. Yum."

  • "I've eaten at the Del Frisco's Grille in DC and regularly eat at Del Frisco's in Charlotte. Thus I was anxious to try the Grille in Burlington. I found the food disappointing. The Cheeseburger Egg Rolls were a bit salty for my taste. A person at my table ordered the 8 oz filet and while they said it was good it did not have the usual appearance of filets I've gotten at Del Frisco's in Charlotte. It was less than an inch thick and blackened. I ordered the Sole Francesca and the flavor was very bland. This restaurant has only been open a few weeks so I may try it again if I'm in the area. They have work to do to be comparable to the Grille in DC, a regular Del Frisco's as well as other nearby Burlington restaurants."

  • "Burlington is adding so many restaurants lately. This is a good one!! They are still working out some of the kinks but worth a visit. We recently ate at the Seaport Del Friscos and had a wonderful experience. This spot is not quite as high end but perfect for Burlington. I had the steak salad and it was delicious. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meal. Overall, great choice!"

  • "Great food and drink. The service was a little confusing since we had 3-4 people waiting on us and taking our orders. A few times I think they were even confused about who was suppose to be doing what. The filet was great, cooked perfectly. VIP is a tasty but potent cocktail. Great apps and a great environment. Also very nice outdoor settings areas - a deck and a patio. We'll be back again!!"

  • "Tried out Del Friscos for date night. Great ambiance but the bar had a strong fish smell. Ate outside on the patio. I feel it was very overpriced for tiny portions. We left hungry and spent close to $80 on 2 apps, a side salad, and 2 drinks. Next time we will be across the street at Cheesecake Factory!"

  • "There is much too much use of salt as a seasoning on this menu. I have preference for vegan and there is very little to chose from. Fortunately they did revise the fish offering for me to leave off the egg and flour and frying. The wait staff comes by in threes and literally sweeps everything that moves off the table whether its empty or not."

  • "Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and orders taken quickly. It was cold in the restaurant and the waitress did have the mngr turn up the AC and it was more comfortable. We were not the only ones who thought it was cold. My husband ordered the grilled salad and I ordered the wedge salad to start and they were extremely good. Husband's entrees was beef stroganoff and veal meatloaf for me. He said the beef was more spicy than he preferred, but being hungry, did eat the whole thing My meatloaf was under-cooked and was sent back. A new one was brought out quickly, but spouse was finished. The manager took both entrees off bill, which was very nice and not expected. We will try it again, but will order different items."

The manager did come over twice to apologize as they were having trouble with the circuits Being a new venue,this was understandable. It was very noisy and seemed like a place for a younger crowd to enjoy the bar, not so much fine dining Service however was impeccable! Food was good but pricey as expected."

  • "We had a group of 5 women. We could not talk across the table as we could not hear each other. Very loud, as there is little aound attenuation. We had to keep moving our chairs as new customers came in because our chairs were so close to those at rhe table behind us. It was not relaxing to eat when streams of people were squeezing behind us to get by. Wine list good, tho pricey. I got a salad with a small piece of salmon. The salad was good. The salmon was raw inside and i did not trust it enough to eat it."

  • "Decor was nice but in all I found it very noisy. The watrisses all dresses in very short Mini shirts. Our server did not have the best knowlge of the menu. The food was pricy for an Applebee's menu. I orders the fish and chips and it was a plate of oil including the fries. My guest orders the corn chowder that was puréed corn simaler to baby food with some kind of mystery meat/seafood at the bottom. Not how it was described on menu. Ordered a dinner Caesar salad and got a full order at 9.50 for romain and dressing. Apps are nothing to talk about nether is the menu or dessert menu. Good luck to you if you can make it in Burlington with all the many new rerestaurants opening in the area."

  • "My coworker and I were out on business looking for a place to eat and have a drink after a long day. What a gem that we found! The food was not only great and vegetarian friendly, but the service by the waiter Chris was remarkable. He actually got to know us and our food preferences and made great recommendations to what we should eat and was just so on point it was incredible. When he mentioned that the place had only been open for 10 days at the time, I couldn't believe him. It was running as if it had been open for years! I was truly impressed at the attention to detail and the effort put in by the entire staff to not only make sure our food was prepared to our liking but to get to know us on a personal basis. Absolutely amazing!"
