I found the prices very expensive. I have dined at multiple steak restaurants but Del Frisco across the board, ( appt. entree, sides) to me were just priced a little too high. Also the noise level was so loud that it was disruptive to enjoy fine dining.

I really enjoyed my steak. It was made to perfection, just the way I like it. However the mash potatoes were not that good to me. They were kind of spicy and Im not a huge fan on spicy foods. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

Went with my adult children for restaurant week. Everything was amazing. Only down fall was it costs us ALOT of money. Couple rounds of drinks and wine, add crabmeat to one filet and bleu cheese and shrimp to other. Mushrooms and calamari were exceptional. Overall had a wonderful experience just wish it was more affordable to be able to go more often instead of just special occasion.

Decided to check this place out for Restaurant Week. I'm sure the staff doesn't like it because the prices are wayyy cheaper than their regular menu. The place itself is beautiful and larger. Loved that music played throughout. Food wasn't the best I've had, but very very tasteful. Lobster bisque spot on, filet medallions with peppercorn a bit spicy and the mousse was just delicious. Our server was nice. Overall I'd suggest Del Frisco's to another looking for a bit to eat after work or early dinner as it gets very packed layer on.

Met a prospective client for lunch, and had the lunch special (soup/salad, main course, desert). For the quality and atmosphere, it was a great deal. However, the soup (lobster bisque) was somewhat disappointing; I'd expect a restaurant of this quality to have a bisque with somewhat more substance.

Took my parents here for dinner. My dad is a foodie and loves coming to philly specifically to try new restaurants. He had the porterhouse and said it was the best steak he's ever had and that he can't wait to go back and get it again. We had a little bit of everything and it was all excellent.

The food is great here. Just be careful as they will trick you any chance they get. "What kind of sauce would you like for your steak?? We offer this kind, or this or this.." You choose your sauce and see you are charged for it. Also we ordered sodas. When we were almost done our sodas, the waitress dropped off fresh sodas and poured them into our glasses. We didn't ask for them but she dropped them off. Same thing happened again when someone finished second soda. She drops off new soda. We assumed it was free refills. The bill comes and we were charged for EVERY SODA at 4 bucks a piece!!! I feel this was unfair as she brought it over on her own. So just watch out. This restaurant seems like they can be tricky like that.

I found this expensive, extravagant and much ballyhooed steakhouse to be almost as spectacular as Butcher and Singer, almost as romantic as The Prime Rib, and the food almost as good as the latter and Morton's. Biggest plus: The 8 oz. filet was the tenderest piece of beef I have ever encountered. Biggest minuses: the mediocre cheesecake and the steep climb down to the restrooms and back.

Celebrated mom's 76th birthday with family. The Australian lobster was overcooked/tough and not as good as a Main Lobster, sea bass was not hot, lobster mac n cheese was salty and there was hair on the bread plate. Service was so-so. The best part was the delicious VIP drink and the apps were great. Not sure if it was worth $600.

On Friday night, my fiance and I went to Del Frisco's for restaurant week. First off, the ambiance couldn't have been better. We were taken through the entire restaurant to our seat which was upstairs in a nice quaint booth. There, we had a great view of the exquisite wine cellar and ceiling architecture. Our server was very accommodating when it came to a glitch on the menu. I had noticed that on line they had caramel banana bread pudding listed as a dessert and it wasn't featured on the menu. She asked her manager if we could have it, and without a doubt, we had it. By far, that was my favorite part, but then again, I am a serious dessert girl!! Very special night!

Steakhouses are a dime a dozen these days...especially in philly, you have about 8 of the major ones. Had been here a few weeks prior for business and everything was spectacular this time just went for restaurant week...not as great. Salad overdressed and filet had a bit of fat on it, seasoning was great though and smashed potatoes were very tasty. I would skip this place for restaurant week but on a normal night you get a delicious meal. Service was great, martini not as good as the first time. Building itself is beautiful and defiantly something to see, music was a bit odd playing but was lively.

The fact that del Friscos was an option for restaurant week was awesome. I have always heard great things but probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise because it is a bit pricey (rightfully so). However, after dining there on Friday my boyfriend and I will definitely be back. We love steak and it was cooked to perfection. We have already recommended it to several of friends. The building alone was incredible. The ceilings, wood work, pillars and then you notice this massive wine cellar that goes from the floor to the ceiling. The hostess was so nice, it was a far walk to the talk but she talked to us the whole way, very down to earth and she seemed proud to work here. She suggested the "VIP" signature cocktail, we obliged and loved it! The waitress was so nice, again down to earth and friendly. She was very quick and effecient. She took care of us without annoying us. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly.
