WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE STEAKHOUSES THAT ARE IN PHILADELPHIA WELL THERE WITH A DOUBT A LOT. BUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT OVER THE TOP WITH PURE LOVE ITS ONLY DEL FRISCOS. TO NIGHT AT THE RESTAURANT IT WAS JAMMED PACKED SOLID ALL THE BARS WERE FILLED AND OF COURSE A SOLD OUT RESTAURANT. ONCE AT THE BAR THE MARTINIS WERE FLOWING AND PROPERLY POURED JUST RIGHT. THE BANGING RAW OYSTERS WERE OFF THE HOOK YUMMY-A BIG TIME YES,NEXT WAS THE DYNOMITE SPINACH SUPREME- THIS DISH WAS JUST LOVE, AND THEN FINALLY WAS THE DYNOMITE OFF THE HOOK 16OZ PRIME STRIP COOKED TO PERFECTION. THE FLAVOR THAT CAME OUT OF THIS PRIME STEAK WAS TRULY INSANE. SERVICE ROCKED AS ALWAYS.TEAM DEL FRISCOS PLEASE KEEP UP THE GRAND STANDARD OF DINNING YOU ROCK

This is a beautiful restaurant but the tackiness of having all the female waitstaff dress like go-go dancers while the male staff are in 3-piece suits is pretty off-putting.

The food is great here. Just be careful as they will trick you any chance they get. "What kind of sauce would you like for your steak?? We offer this kind, or this or this.." You choose your sauce and see you are charged for it. Also we ordered sodas. When we were almost done our sodas, the waitress dropped off fresh sodas and poured them into our glasses. We didn't ask for them but she dropped them off. Same thing happened again when someone finished second soda. She drops off new soda. We assumed it was free refills. The bill comes and we were charged for EVERY SODA at 4 bucks a piece!!! I feel this was unfair as she brought it over on her own. So just watch out. This restaurant seems like they can be tricky like that.

I found this expensive, extravagant and much ballyhooed steakhouse to be almost as spectacular as Butcher and Singer, almost as romantic as The Prime Rib, and the food almost as good as the latter and Morton's. Biggest plus: The 8 oz. filet was the tenderest piece of beef I have ever encountered. Biggest minuses: the mediocre cheesecake and the steep climb down to the restrooms and back.

Celebrated mom's 76th birthday with family. The Australian lobster was overcooked/tough and not as good as a Main Lobster, sea bass was not hot, lobster mac n cheese was salty and there was hair on the bread plate. Service was so-so. The best part was the delicious VIP drink and the apps were great. Not sure if it was worth $600.

On Friday night, my fiance and I went to Del Frisco's for restaurant week. First off, the ambiance couldn't have been better. We were taken through the entire restaurant to our seat which was upstairs in a nice quaint booth. There, we had a great view of the exquisite wine cellar and ceiling architecture. Our server was very accommodating when it came to a glitch on the menu. I had noticed that on line they had caramel banana bread pudding listed as a dessert and it wasn't featured on the menu. She asked her manager if we could have it, and without a doubt, we had it. By far, that was my favorite part, but then again, I am a serious dessert girl!! Very special night!

Steakhouses are a dime a dozen these days...especially in philly, you have about 8 of the major ones. Had been here a few weeks prior for business and everything was spectacular this time just went for restaurant week...not as great. Salad overdressed and filet had a bit of fat on it, seasoning was great though and smashed potatoes were very tasty. I would skip this place for restaurant week but on a normal night you get a delicious meal. Service was great, martini not as good as the first time. Building itself is beautiful and defiantly something to see, music was a bit odd playing but was lively.

The fact that del Friscos was an option for restaurant week was awesome. I have always heard great things but probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise because it is a bit pricey (rightfully so). However, after dining there on Friday my boyfriend and I will definitely be back. We love steak and it was cooked to perfection. We have already recommended it to several of friends. Thank you for a great date night.

The building alone was incredible. The ceilings, wood work, pillars and then you notice this massive wine cellar that goes from the floor to the ceiling. The hostess was so nice, it was a far walk to the talk but she talked to us the whole way, very down to earth and she seemed proud to work here. She suggested the "VIP" signature cocktail, we obliged and loved it! The waitress was so nice, again down to earth and friendly. She was very quick and effecient. She took care of us without annoying us. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly.

It felt like we were an inconvenience. I have been to a lot of places for restaurant week and they did a lot better.

DO NOT GO during restaurant week if you are looking for something Romantic or enjoyable night out for two. Over capacitated and LOUD!!!!! I felt like I was yelling at my husband across the small table. Customers at the bar are very rude and inconsiderate. I had three different waiters come to my table and by the end of dinner I had no ideal which one to tip. Food was just OK, came out way to quickly for it to be made to order and the mashed potatoes were dry on top as if they were sitting under a heat lamp.

We made a reservation for 8:30pm on a Wed night. We called DF and were told the best place to park was 15th and Sansom as they validated for RW. The seating was 45 minutes behind, which moved us back to 9:15pm for dinner. The food itself was good. The appetizers were a bit lack luster compared to some of the other RW locations. The entree (pork tenderloin) was fantastic. Service was good (nothing special, but understood for such a busy night/week). The biggest trouble was when we went back to get our car and were told that the validation that DF gave us did not work for their garage. We paid $30 for two hours. More time being added as DF was not ready for our reservation. Why suggest your patrons go to a $30 lot when you do valet for $18??

I had Dinner with a friend during restaurant week, which I hope is the reason for the long wait. Our reservation was at 7 told that we'd have to wait at the bar for 1/2 hour. We weren't pleased but we went to the bar which was overcrowded with limited standing room. Once tables were ready, hostesses walked around the bar asking guests who they were. Very inefficient and confusing considering the number of guests and limited circulation space. Our table overlooked the first floor, but we were pinned against a column. The waitress was friendly, but failed to take my friend's drink order. The wine list was the huge, but the waitress said no Sangria. My soup, medallions and cheesecake were good, but the wait for each course was very long.

A coworker and I visited during Restaurant Week. It was a good opportunity to sample this establishment and keep the bill reasonable just for a workday lunch. The menu choices were adequate and the food was really good. However, I felt a bit rushed through this lunch. The waiter was certainly pleasant and courteous enough, but it was all a bit too fast for me. We were given a nice hot loaf of bread and our first course arrived quite quickly. When the waiter removed the our plates he also removed the bread. Not sure if this is standard but I was a bit surprised by that and then our entrees arrived just a few seconds later. As I said food was very good, but I would have liked more time to savor the experience.

Love the food at Del Friscos but sometimes the service is lackluster. The hostess gave away our table while we were waiting for the last of our party to arrive and did not inform us, even though aware we were waiting at the bar. We had to wait for a new table. The food was delicious. Our waiter unfortunately was inattentive and slow. The meal took much longer than we intended, considering we had to flag our waiter down when we needed him. Always a good deal for restaurant week if you can deal with less than stellar service.

Great food with awesome servers/waitresses! My only complaint is the short skirts of the waitresses. I think those girls are beautiful and the skirts just degrades them a bit. They were way too short. I know it's for the season (maybe), movement and distinguishes from male staff but there has to be a better skirt for those ladies. I don't remember the name of our waitress but she was an absolute pleasure. She spoke well, made comfortable eye contact and was good on time. Someone give that one a raise!!
