My husband and I went and was recommended to have Chris wait on us. My husband called ahead of time and advised of this. When we were going to our table, it seemed as though Chris was unpleasantly surprised that we were told to ask for him on a recommendation from a friend. His response was, "he told you to ask for me", which took us by surprise of his tone. So, we stayed anyway and ordered. The appetizers were shrimp cocktail and a crab cake. Not that good for a crab cake..the food was mediocre to say the least. He had a 12 oz filet mignon and I had the chicken with asparagus. Just an FYI...if you are allergic to nuts, don't get the asparagus. The menu should state it has almonds on it. To us, it was just a waste of our time and money.

My husband and I went to Del Frisco's during Restaurant Week. The dining room is beautiful, but it was very noisy. Loud music playing over diner's conversations made it feel more like a club than a restaurant. We only experienced this from the entry, as we were seated in a much quieter room downstairs. While it was very nice and offered us a better opportunity to have conversation, it did make us feel cut off from the "mainstream" dining room and experience. We were disappointed in their offerings for RW, so we ordered from the main menu. Everything was wonderful. Our waiter was Chris. He was very personable, helped us make a wine selection, and came over to check on us often. The steaks were cooked to perfection.

I went to restaurant week at Del Frisco's and it was fabulous! I had never been before and it was very pretty inside. Great date night. The bar serviced me the best martini I've had in a while and my steak dinner was so tender it could have been cut with a butter knife. My only disappointment, and it was small, was that there wasn't better options on the restaurant week dessert menu. The options were chocolate mousse (which I got) and cheesecake. For a restaurant of their caliber, I expected options which weren't so generic (this may have only been because it was restaurant week, but I was unsure). Also, our service was really good considering how busy the place was.

I found the prices very expensive. I have dined at multiple steak restaurants but Del Frisco across the board, ( appt. entree, sides) to me were just priced a little too high. Also the noise level was so loud that it was disruptive to enjoy fine dining.

I came here for RW with my mom and sister. I was pleased with how they still seated us even though we were over 15 mins late for our reservation and it was packed inside. Our server was great; pleasant, friendly, and caring. My mom and sister ordered the 8 oz filet mignon. Because I had come here for RW in the past and ordered the filet (of course), I decided to go for something new; something else... Big Mistake! Do not order something else besides the best cut of steak at a steakhouse because you will be disappointed. I went with the steak medallions. It came with a peppercorn sauce. I didn't realize 'till later how much I regretted it. It was too salty. Overwhelmingly salty. Besides that, everything else was fine. Stick to the filet.

Went with my adult children for restaurant week. Everything was amazing. Only down fall was it costs us ALOT of money. Couple rounds of drinks and wine, add crabmeat to one filet and bleu cheese and shrimp to other. Mushrooms and calamari were exceptional. Overall had a wonderful experience just wish it was more affordable to be able to go more often instead of just special occasion.

Decided to check this place out for Restaurant Week. I'm sure the staff doesn't like it because the prices are wayyy cheaper than their regular menu. The place itself is beautiful and larger. Loved that music played throughout. Food wasn't the best I've had, but very very tasteful. Lobster bisque spot on, filet medallions with peppercorn a bit spicy and the mousse was just delicious. Our server was nice. Overall I'd suggest Del Frisco's to another looking for a bit to eat after work or early dinner as it gets very packed layer on.

Met a prospective client for lunch, and had the lunch special (soup/salad, main course, desert). For the quality and atmosphere, it was a great deal. However, the soup (lobster bisque) was somewhat disappointing; I'd expect a restaurant of this quality to have a bisque with somewhat more substance.

Overall, good experience. However, if you are handicapped, you need to keep reminding the hostess seating you that stairs are not possible. The woman seating my wife was told no stairs. Had to use elevator, and still tried to bring her to the third floor where stairs are required. And she was left standing in the middle of the floor while the annoyed hostess ran off to figure out a solution. Luckily someone else came along and helped.

The food is great here. Just be careful as they will trick you any chance they get. "What kind of sauce would you like for your steak?? We offer this kind, or this or this.." You choose your sauce and see you are charged for it. Also we ordered sodas. When we were almost done our sodas, the waitress dropped off fresh sodas and poured them into our glasses. We didn't ask for them but she dropped them off. Same thing happened again when someone finished second soda. She drops off new soda. We assumed it was free refills. The bill comes and we were charged for EVERY SODA at 4 bucks a piece!!! I feel this was unfair as she brought it over on her own. So just watch out. This restaurant seems like they can be tricky like that.

I found this expensive, extravagant and much ballyhooed steakhouse to be almost as spectacular as Butcher and Singer, almost as romantic as The Prime Rib, and the food almost as good as the latter and Morton's. Biggest plus: The 8 oz. filet was the tenderest piece of beef I have ever encountered. Biggest minuses: the mediocre cheesecake and the steep climb down to the restrooms and back.
