WE VISITED THE RESTAURANT BEFORE GOING TO A SHOW. THE ENTIRE STAFF (WAIT STAFF, MANAGER, CONCIERGE) WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY. THE FOOD WAS PERFECTLY SEASONED AND THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE. THE PORTIONS WERE FILLING AND THE FOOD LOOKED APPEALING. THE BAR SCENE WAS VERY BUSY. AS THE EVENING WENT ON THE RESTAURANT WAS FILLING UP, NOT VERY NOISY. GREAT EVENING LOCATION.

My roommate and I went to Del Frisco's because we were each celebrating something. Despite making a reservation for 7PM (and showing up around 6:55) we were asked to wait in the bar for about 40 minutes, which seemed rather ridiculous (what's the point of making a reservation). After that, the service was prompt and the food was good. Am I happy I went - yes. Will I probably go back - no, there are many other good steak places in the city.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse lives up to its flagship status. Steaks perfectly prepared with amazing sides. Try the lobster Mac & Cheese and delicious appetizer of cheesesteak egg rolls. Great expansive fine wine list. Service is outstanding. Ask for server Justyna, you'll be glad you did. This is a great special occasion restaurant.

Had a reservation for 9pm and was not seated until after 9:30pm. For such a big name restaurant I think that was unexceptable. The drinks were good however the food was by far not what was expected. Things were either too salty or have no seasoning. For the price the food is not worth it. Disappointed for a Wolfgang restaurant. I would recommend only for the drinks

I picked this restaurant off the recommendation from a friend. He told me that it was a great place, and it was worth the price. Boy was he right. I got the steak medallions, and they were cooked to perfection. My fiancée got the baked chicken. We also ordered the lobster mac, and the potatoes. There was no bad choices made that night. The martinis were phenomenal, and they definitely did the trick. Finally, we got the cheesecake. We got it for free, because it was a special occasion. BEST CHEESECAKE EVER!!! We will be returning again, but we'll try not to break the bank this time.

If you're willing to spend the money, Del Frisco's gives an excellent meal. We started with the calamari, seafood soup, and mushroom bisque. All were good, but the real stars of the meal were the main course. That night's specials were a filet trio (3 filet medallions prepared 3 different ways) and a 14 oz bone in filet. Both were fabulous. The creamed spinach is also great and the chateau potatoes were a bit dry but still good. The building is absolutely beautiful. It is a large building, so there are a LOT of tables. While not necessarily a romantic setting the noise level isn't so high that you can't hear the rest of your table (we were sitting right by the bar and still didn't find it too loud). The service is also outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. In a city with many steak houses, Del Friscos is near the top of my list.

The look of the restaurant is stunning and the food fit right in. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts were prepared perfectly and were absolutely delicious. We had mushroom bisque, cheesteak dumplings, crab cake and shrimp cocktail for apps. There wasn't a morsel of food left on anyone's plate. Then came the entrees and they were just as delicious as the apps. My wife and I shared the wagyu steak with red wine sauce and it was mouth watering. Both of my children had the filet mignon (one oscar style and the other with no sauce)...They devoured them quickly. Even though we were stuffed, we had to go for desserts as well which added a perfect end to the night. We will definitely be going back to Del Frisco's

Del Frisco's was very good in all aspects, but not great. We had to wait 20 mins to be seated despite having a reservation. The service was very friendly otherwise, especially the wait service which was excellent. The salads were delectable and well-priced. The drinks were done to perfection as well. The seafood tower was probably the most disappointing item. We had heard a lot about this menu item and ordered it despite the high price tag. It was definitely not worth the $80. I am sure the steaks are magnificent though. I would definitely go back again for a salad/steak but would not recommend the seafood tower.

The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress, Justyna, was fantastic! The staff at the front desk couldn't be more helpful. The building once housed a bank. When we asked to see more of the building, the hostess escorted us to the lower level to see the spectacular vault room where parties can be held. She also showed us pictures of the restaurant while under construction. The food was great. I had the filet medallion trio whereby each was seasoned differently. My husband had the sea bass. We were both very satisfied and would visit again.

We went for my boyfriend's birthday and when we arrived, everyone kept wishing him a happy birthday and they brought him a slice of cheesecake with a candle after our meal! Oh man, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the prime ribeye and it was cooked to absolute perfection. I hate seafood and my boyfriend ordered the lobster mac and cheese as a table side....wow, so excellent. No gross fishy taste; just perfect! I put salt on everything and nothing here needed any extra touches, even the mashed potatoes (chateau potatoes). Can't wait to find an excuse to celebrate and go back!

We were underwhelmed. 9pm reservation, we were seated closer to 930 with no apology. We shared the Wagyu longbone, which was undercooked (ordered medium rare, middle was red not pink) and the cut seemed fatty. Our server was very nice and gracious, but we barely saw him. The reason to go to Del Frisco's is for the really great steaks, flavored and cooked perfectly. The sides we had were also delicious (Lobster Mac and Cheese and Chateau Potatoes) and the desserts were solid (Bread Pudding and Lemon Cake). However, service was a bit rushed and given the price point and grandeur of the space, I would have expected more attentive and less frazzled service. Our waiter was generally friendly, but I felt like he was only ever at our table for a minute before rushing off to his other tables.

Amazing building, worth going just to see the place. Very good food, ridiculously expensive wine list and about the only high end steak place in Philly that does not allow a wine lover to vring that special bottle and pay a corkage fee which puts them at a disadvantage for us. Strange service too, that's all I'll say about that.

My wife & I shared a perfectly cooked Prime Bone-in strip, skillet potatoes and sautéed spinach with fresh Shrimp Cocktail as a starter, which made for a very memorable meal! The Service was also excellent!

On 10/30, had reservations at 7:30pm and were seated right away. It was extremely crowded and incredibly noisy! I felt like people were packed like sardines! We got a table upstairs, still pretty busy and loud. Asia was our waitress wasn't very attentive or quick with the drinks.Throughout the dinner, she didn't check the table as often, the manager actually saw to our drinks. I had the trio, one steak was a little tough. My boyfriend got the 22oz filet, there was a fatty piece on the end of the steak. For the price we paid, $231, I wasn't as impressed as I was with my first experience. The next time I plan on dining I will see to it I sit in Lorna or Megan's section and dine probably on a Monday/Tuesday night after 8.
