  • "LAST NIGHT AT THE DEL OF THE REAL NAME DEL FRISCOS THE #1 STEAKHOUSE IN ALL PHILADELPHIA. THE NIGHT WAS PURE MAGIC AND IT WAS ON THE LOOSE. FIRST GETTING TO THE BAR WAS NO EASY TASK BECAUSE IT WAS PACKED SOLID- I ALWAYS LOVE TO SEE A PACKED BAR IT SAYS A LOT. ONCE AT THE BAR THIS WAS GOING TO BE A VERY SPECIAL NIGHT. THE SECRET INGREDENT WAS GOING TO BE LOBSTER. WELL LET ME JUST SAY THAT THE DEL HAS THE FINEST AUSTRALIAN COLD WATER TAILS THAT MONEY CAN BUY. OF COURSE I WENT WITH THE THE TAIL MEANT FOR A KING OR QUEEN A TRULY AMAZING BEAST A 22 OUNCE. TENDER-BUTTERY- AND FULL OF HUGE FLAVOR. AND THEN I TOPPED IT OFF WITH THE SHANGHI STYLE FRIED CALAMRAI THE FINEST IN THE CITY.ONCE AGAIN THE DEL PROVES THEY ARE THE FINEST STEAKHOUSE IN PHILA!"

  • "Del Frisco's is hands down the best steakhouse "chain" but be prepared to spend some money. True to its Texas roots the Philadelphia location delivers a perfect steak every time. What's different and most memorable is the atmosphere. Set in what was once a bank the restaurant is cavernous and features multiple dining areas at different levels. Our server was super attentive and knowledgable. For appetizers we had crab cakes and assorted shrimp remoulade, shrimp cocktail and marinated shrimp. The bone in ribeye is my favorite cut. For those who want to experience different flavored the filet trio is a good choice. For dessert try a Del's delight. Not for kids, it's a liquor based "milkshake" and a must try."

  • "Had a lovely meal at Del Frisco's. We sat upstairs on the balcony near the rail, which is a wonderful place to people watch as well as get a great view of the amazing old bank architecture and gorgeous ceilings. We ordered both a bone in prime rib eye and a lobster tail which was on special to have "surf & turf". However the $84 lobster tail was tough and chewy. We realized we should have stayed with the steak, which is what Del Frisco's does best. The steak was incredibly delicious, they have a perfect, on spot rating of what medium cooked was and it was so much better than the lobster and more reasonable. Sides of creamed spinach and potatoes were delicious. Great ambiance and superb service."

  • "Everything was DELICIOUS! And I'm a foodie....from the oysters..to the steak...lobster mac & cheese....OMG...even the baked potato was seasonedto perfection."

  • "the bone-in rib eye au poivre medium rare was done to perfection. the Del salad with artichoke dressing was delicious but next time i would order the salad dressing on the side to make it healthier. the sauteed spinach with garlic was perfect for me, a garlic lover. and our server, candy, was on the ball, friendly, attentive yet not ingratiating. we had Joel gott zinfandel, one of the less expensive bottles on the menu it was a a perfect pair. we highly recommend the restaurant!"

Honor reservations. Specially when your party is there minutes before the reservation time. Service was rushed. Waiter bad. Bus person excellent. Water glass was regularly filled."

  • "My husband and I had a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious. Be prepared for a healthy bill. The seafood soup, was a bit pricey for the serving size. The steaks were amazing as were the sauces. They were cooked to perfection. The sides were large and certainly enough for two people to share. Our only complaint was the service was a bit slow. We were seated at 6:15 for a 6:00 reservation. We had to rush to make it to a show at the Academy, right around the corner. We did not have time for desert. Plan for a full two hour meal or a little more. Enjoy!"

  • "I have been coming to Del Friscos for the past year and as usual the food was delicious, drinks were good and the ambiance was great. The service from the time you walk in is full of smiles and people happy to assist you. I had a minor issue with my spinach having butter in it and it was not appetizing for me, however I requested more spinach in just olive oil and not only did they prepare it as I requested but it was also comped without me even asking it to be. I love this restaurant and have also been to the one in Chicago....That is a must see!!!"

  • "We choose this restaurant for our 1st wedding anniversary (we ate at another Del Frisco location the night we got engaged), and made reservations a month in advance. The waitress paid little to no attention to our table, took almost 30 minutes to even give us water, couldn't recommend a drink when I asked, forgot the salads, never gave us bread, didn't get our sides until 10 minutes after our steaks, never refilled our waters or asked if we wanted additional drinks, etc. What made it worse was the server at nearby tables was very attentive and treated another anniversary couple like royalty (and we couldn't even get bread and water). This was a very expensive but disappointing anniversary dinner."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "While the restaurant is beautifully designed, the food was ok. Our steaks were supposed to be medium rare, but were very much rare. They had a great taste, but one of ours was almost black and blue. Lobsters were mediocre. . we would go back just to sit at bar order drinks and take in the ambiance."

  • "We went for our wedding anniversary and the steak came out perfect, we always enjoy our steak when we dine here. The best calamari appetizer ever. We enjoy the atmosphere and the service as well. My wife drinks ice tea and the glass is always full."

  • "Server (Martha) was awesome. attentive, pleasant and appropriately unobtrusive. Food great. Overall dinner experience was great. Only negative, is only one men's (and women's) room toilet upstairs. If they are both individual, why not make them unisex. While i know i will get no sympathy from the women out there, but who ever heard of a line at the men's room. Seems a bit small for a restaurant of that size"

  • "This was our first time to Del Frisco's and what a fantastic experience. The service above all was outstanding! The food was amazing I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and had an amazing sauce. The rest of my party had steak and all said it was the best they had every had. Overall a great experience."

  • "This was my first time at Del Frisco's Double Eagle restaurant. The inside architecture was beautiful and grandeur. The decor made you feel like you were stepping into the past. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection...filet, lobster, tuna, porterhouse. The desserts were HUGE yet light enough to continue eating "just one more bite". The staff were very friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed during our meal. It was a little loud but to me this was a sign that all guests were having a great time at a great place!"

  • "We have eaten at other del frisco's and the quality of food is always excellent and tonite was no exception. Two issues worth noting though. We started with a special Spanish Rojas 2005 vintage. A 2007 was provided. I noted the disparity and an attempt to find the 2005 was made but was not available. A different 2005 was recommended ( it felt like an up sell) so we declined and drank the 2007. When the check came we were charged for the 2005? The second issue was a birthday dessert with candle was brought out for my wife after we ordered other desserts? Not a big deal except we were charged for the additional dessert. These two issues cast doubt on the integrity of establishment and as such would be hesitant to recommend or return."

  • "Me and my wife went to Del Frisco's to try out their steak selection based on a recommendation from a family member. My wife ordered a 6oz Filet Mignon ($40) and I ordered a 24oz Prime Porterhouse ($57). The steaks that we ordered were a HUGE disappointment. They both had absolutely no flavor and we were both very angry that for the price we spent (Total Bill = $174), the quality did not even come close. As a comparison, we went to an Outback Steakhouse a few weeks ago and the steaks that we ordered were dripping with flavor and we spent a combined $30. I will NEVER recommend or come back to this restaurant. The only positive note was our amazing waitress."
