The restaurant had an older, western feel yet classy and upbeat. Our waiter was very nice and explained all the dinner options well. We both ordered steak. Mine came out great but my wife's was a little undercooked. Our waiter promptly took it back and had it cooked to the proper temperature without any delay. The steak was the best that I have ever eaten! Adding sauce would be doing it a disservice. The potatoes, BBQ shrimp, and mac and cheese were also to die for. All in all, a fantastic place to take your special someone for a night out. It was a very special evening and Del Frisco's impeccable service, food and the overall ambience made the evening more magical. We started with a glass of Malbec wine, followed by the Del Salad for me & the Caesar Salad for my husband. The ribeye steak and crab cakes melted in your mouth. We were full but opted for the cheesecake. If you don't have Del Frisco's Cheesecake you are missing a real treat. Nathan, our waiter, was terrific, listened to our likes, and recommended things from the menu that were excellent. He was great , and all service was top notch.
Food was 5 star also, signature strip is worth the price!

We don't have the resources to dine in this fashion very often, so when we do go to a high end restaurant we want to be treated special and Del Frisco's was fabulous. Jarod was our waiter and he was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. He was knowledgeable and an excellent representative of the restaurant. We felt special from the moment we walked in until we stepped into our vehicle to go home. My girlfriend and I were celebrating her acceptance to medical school and our anniversary. We could have not picked a better place to celebrate both of these special occasions. The food was delicious, the steak were cooked to perfection, the accompanied side dishes are superb, The manager was very friendly and courteous. The only negative thing I could say about this place is that I wish they had a seating chart available so patrons like myself who like to sit in a quite area and less traffic can do so, but aside from this, the Double Eagle Steakhouse provided a great atmosphere and experience for those who want to celebrate a special occasion.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMMakes any occasion specialI took my daughter to the Fort Worth Location for a special daddy-daughter 13th birthday date. The service and wine list are very good. The menu is what you would expect to find in Texas - steaks, and large portions. However, given this is a place that prides itself in high quality steaks, I found these to be unduly greasy and tough to chew (usually a sign they were not cut properly or aged sufficiently, in my experience). We were treated like celebrities from the moment we arrived. The reservation desk welcomed us like long-time regulars ( which we aren't), the wait staff was outstanding and the food was delicious. We are usually visitor's to the Grapevine area. The parking was simple for a Saturday night. We had our reservations at 7:30pm and were promptly seated without a waiting period. Finally, we made it to dessert ~ stuffed, but could not pass up. The table shared the Mousse, Bread Pudding and the wonderful Nocello drink. He was spot on when it came to food recommendations however and the quality of the food was great.
