All were true. We had one of the most memorable dining experiences ever. The hostess seated us as soon as we arrived. We had a round table for 12 with a view of the harbor that was amazing. Seating was beautiful overlooking Boston Harbor. Wait staff was wonderful. Pricey, but that was expected. My daughter loves a good steak and could not stop raving about how delicious the filet was. As a matter of fact I also enjoyed the filet which was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. My wife enjoyed the pan seared scallops and after having a taste I wish I had mixed a little. Sides are sides but the lobster mac and cheese was the best. The atmosphere was terrific. Of course the younger crowd milling around the beautiful bar maybe waiting for tables or just there to socialize. We will most assuredly make plans for Del Frisco's. Again. Every year I take my husband to a new steak house for his birthday. This year it was Del Friscos, which was recommended by friends. At first glance it seemed like everyother downtown restaurant. As my husband says " all the pretty people place". As it turned out, it was not that type of environment. The staff was amazing. So friendly and helpful. We came in earlier then our reservation time about half an hour, but they were able to set up a table for us within minutes. This comes from a couple who were a waitress and a bartender at the Toll House restaurant for many years between the
Wakefield's(Toll House cookie originator)and the Saccone family.
When my martini accidently spilled- it was replaced.
The piece of cheesecake for my birthday had an incredible crust!
We have been many times and shall return many more....

The service from that point on was outstanding. At no point in time did we ever feel we were forgotten or ignored. Our waiter and his support staff were fabulous. I do have one complaint with this restaurant. When you order two desserts for the table to share they come out with a third one like it's a complimentary. Well, it's not...it's added on to the bill. Now this restaurant is not cheap by any means. After you have appetizers, wine, drinks, entrees the bill is through the roof for a party of 6. So when they act like they are doing you a favor with the extra dessert ( which after spending close to $900.00 including tip) you would think they could comp the $10 cheesecake!!!
