The night started out well. We were seated promptly and the menu selections were explained clearly by our waiter. Shortly thereafter he disappeared; ten minutes later the sommelier arrived with a bottle of champagne; it was delivered in error to our table. Although the staff was embarassed they did nothing by way of apologizing. The food was ordered 15 minutes after that and it ALL turned out to be fantastic. The wine took some time to get to us but it was enjoyable as well. We saw our waiter once more before paying the check only to see the there had been over $140 in "extras" we did not order (including the bottle of champagne we never drank). Food is great but the service was spotty at best with an excess of staff on hand.

Del Frisco is truly a gem. Boston has once again caught up with NY. The food is fantastic, the service top shelf and Anthony the manager made sure my party was well taken care of. I think I found the best steak house on the planet!

First time there and we loved it. Steaks are wonderful. Side dishes are fabulous. Appetizers are delicious as well. The place is pricey but where can you go and get a spectacular view on the water with wait staff that is only there to help and accommodate you? We all want to go back and actually made reservations to celebrate our daughters graduation from high school with friends...Cannot wait!

Both the food and service were excellent done to the last detail. I'd highly recommend dining at Del Frisco's for any occasion. My family celebrated my son's graduation from high school with a meal at Del Frisco's, and I couldn't have picked a better dining experience for this special occasion. All three of my sons were very impressed and my 11 yr old ate an entire filet - 10 oz of meat in one sitting - the steak was outstanding!

Food was good in general. Portergouse steak and baked potato had to be sent back for being overdone and underdone, respectively. Service was good and plentiful but extremely slow, 3 hours for dinner!!! View of waterfront was phenomenal in daylight and nighttime. Del Friscos in NYC amazing so we think the Boston restaurant just has some new;y opened kinks to work out. We have high hopes for the future.

We had an amazing meal at Del Frisco's this past Friday night. The service was spectacular as was the view and the food and wine. The wine list is a bit overwhelming, but it does have a wide selection of affordable as well as very expensive options. The steaks were unbelievable, perfectly done and the staff was really sharp about exactly how you wanted your steak done. Great time, I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion as it is quite expensive. But you are guaranteed to get your money's worth.

I can't say enough about the wonderful dining experience I had Friday evening. The location of the restaurant overlooking the Boston Harbor is breathtaking. The ribeye steak, lobster macaroni and cheese and caesar salad is the best. You must try the signature martini (vodka infused with fresh pineapple). The service was impeccable. If you are looking to spend a special evening out, this is the place. Just enough lively atmosphere that when you leave, you feel like you were at a party with great food and a great time was had by all. I am planning to book a birthday party for my sister in their private function room that also overlooks the Boston Harbor. Can't wait.

Reserved a table for dinner prior to show at Pavilion. Had the Del's Salad (basic garden salad with two strips of bacon), and the Chicken & Lemon Rice. Bar was packed and has a Bar Menu with more basic, cheaper items. Pros: Food and service were good, but a somewhat limited menu; Nice view of harbor, and outside seating if the weather is right. Cons: Expensive; very noisy with the music blasting; service staff congregated in packs talking about their lives and other stuff I just didn't want to hear - they should be out of the way and not standing behind my table; service staff polishing glass and silverware during dinner - this should have been done when the tables were set, not when dinner service has just started.

The service was very good and the food that we ordered was well prepared and fresh. The issue that I had was the fact that many of the dishes that were on the menu were sold out - such as the bone in ribeye and 2-3 other potential choices. When we ordered the entre and chose our side dishes, even the mushrooms were sold out! That was the coup de gras.

We tried Del Frisco's on the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad that we did! We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were promptly seated at our outdoor table, as requested. Our server went above and beyond to provide a superior experience and the sommelier provided a wonderful selection within our requested price range. We both had the filet - mine with a garlic, blue cheese sauce. It didn't require the sauce as the steak was delicious on its own, but it was very good! My boyfriend and I agree, the customer service was was excellent, setting was beautiful and both the food and wine were delicious. We will definitely go back for a special occasion!

Ceasar Salad was over dressed and dressing not great to start with. Shrimp cocktail presentation was very unappealing (it came with shrimp completely covered with a big ladle of cocjtail sauce),but it did taste good. Everyone's steak was great !! Sides were O.K. Dessert was Cheesecake for the table and was uneatable (it tasted like plain cold cream chesse)

You are definitely paying for the view at this restaurant! While the restaurant is beautiful with an excellent view of the Boston harbor, the extremely loud Motown soundtrack made us feel like we were at Johnny Rockets instead of a fine dining steak house, which made for a very non-relaxing dinner. The food was only fair overall and the steaks were coated in a very spicy rub. The menu does not explain (nor did our waiter)that all steaks are cooked that way and you have to ask for the steak "plain" otherwise. Who would think that you'd have to ask for a plain steak vs. asking for peppercorn or other preparation...which is usually how a steak house prepares its steaks. Overall, we were very disappointed especially since the prices are so high.

I've been three times since they have opened and my last visit was disappointing because of the service. While the waiter was prompt to inquire if we wouldlike bottle of tapped, we waited close to 10 minutes to order cocktails (would have been five if we accepted drinks accidently delivered to us), another 20 minutes to order dinner, then another five to order a bottle of wine because the waiter left without asking if we wanted wine. Four shared appz, but only one came out; the other three came about 8 minutes later. On drinks/main course, the waiter neglected special requests. All of this was on a Wednesday night no less. 2-3 visits have been great, but for the price I expect 100% quality everytime.

A great meal and wonderful evening. The ambiance and setting are as good as it gets. There is not a better steak that I've had in the country then Del Frisco's regardeless of location and the Boston restaunt is no exception. The service lacked a littel focus at times and little things like bringing more bread, filling wine glasses and refilling water was not prompt or had to be requested. These were minor annoyances in an overall great evening.

We were a group of eight, celebrating college graduation. It was a very festive, happening atmosphere with an almost frenetic amount of movement surrounding us. Service was very slow, we were there for almost four hours, with long waits for drinks and courses. Despite the showy choreographed presentation, there was an amazing amount of confusion in getting the correct plates in front of the correct diners. Too many mistakes and missed orders to say great service. but the steak was some of the best we've had, and we've hit pretty much all of the steak houses. Sides were good, wedge salad was one of the better ones we've had. Too much salt for my taste but my saltaholics loved it. Wine selection and wine steward/sommelier outstanding.

Everything we ordered was amazing. Appetizers of crab cakes, shrimp and lobster were outstanding. Two in our party had bone in filets and two had 8oz filets. One person had to send their entree back as it was more rare than the ordered medium requested. Sides of king crab gnocchi, sauteed mushrooms and lobster mac and cheese were amazing. Dessert was a slice of birthday cake for person in our party celebrating 60th birthday. Service was a little slow in terms of how quickly the courses moved along but the wait/service staff was incredibly attentive
