  • "Took my husband here for his birthday, and everyone from the waitress to manager went out of their way to make the evening special. On Sunday's, they have a special prix fixe menu, an excellent value and wonderful selection. Highly recommend their "VIP" cocktail, absolutely to die for (fresh pineapple soaked in clementine vodka for 14 days, strained and served chilled in a martini glass)."

  • "We've been to Del Frisko a couple of times before, and liked everything. However, the last lunch for a large group of people was a different story. Many complained that their food was cold, the service was too long. I guess Del Frisko set expectations high and did not deliver. I hope it was one off but now I would think twice before setting another big group lunch and Del Frisko."

  • "This was our first lunch at Del Frisco's, and it did not disappoint. Great lunch menu, and, of course, you can order any steak you wish. My burger was delish, I could only eat half. The steak salad is really just a darn fine strip steak, laughingly sitting atop some greens that make you think you are eating low-cal. There is nothing on this menu that even hints at dieting, my friends :) And how can you NOT get the onion rings, as long as you are there?? Come on, no one else makes them like this..."

  • "My girlfriend and I have been trying all the steakhouses in the city of Boston, and by far Del Frisco has been a top pick. From the professional on the hostess, to the waitress and everyone associated with our evening it was top of the line. I highly recommend going here for any and all special occasions."

  • "Good service, good location, great food. Restaorant was loud. It was a Saturday night, so not suprised. It felt vibrant though.the noise level didn't detract from my enjoyment. Pretty pricey, but worth it."

  • "Steak was done well but portions were undersized for value. Prices were absolutely rediculous and we will never return. This is a nightclub and not a restaurant with value."

  • "The service here was excellent, all members of staff from servers to hostesses were extremely friendly and attentive. Food wasn't bad by any means but was fairly average for a steakhouse, I thought it might be a little better considering the price. Good selection of drink, reasonably priced."

  • "My husband brought me for my birthday in December, and the food & service were so amazing, I just had to return the favor and bring him back for *his* birthday this past weekend! My best friend was in town from Atlanta with her boyfriend, and was looking to show off her city's best spots. I told her we absolutely *had* to go to Del Frisco's!"

  • "Attentive service, great steak cooked as ordered. The Del salad is delicious as are the house potatoes. The VIP martini was tasty as well. The view is outstanding! I can't wait to go back when it is warmer to sit outside on the deck!"

  • "i went to alot of restaurants around. but Del Frisco's is the best steak u ever have. you gotta spend little more money but it is worth every dollar. nice views. nice location, nice decoration, we had like 3 people checking on how our food is. never had that before. i felt so comfortable and had alot of attention."

  • "Had visited other Delfrisco's in other cities so wanted to try Boston for my son's 33rd Birthday and there were five altogether for an 8pm reservation, meeting at 7:30 for drinks and we very anxiously waited until 8:35pm to finally be seated after standing in bar area which was hugely loud. The dining area was actually louder that the bar though which made it really tough to carry on a conversation. The waiter was top notch so no complaints there. Food was very typical of all the other high end steak houses but I think Delfrisco's was even a little higher priced. They did comp an 11 dollar dessert though so that was a nice touch. Overall a good dining experience but wouldn't rush back."

  • "Del Frisco's was a fantastic option while visiting Boston. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. The steak was absolutely fantastic and the wine selection was superb."

  • "We came to del friscos for my husbands birthday. We started with the crab cake which was a mound of huge lump crab. We then had bone in filet which was mind blowing. We finished the evening with cheesecake with was also great."

  • "Great food and ambiance So loud that you felt like you were shouting to be heard Business People with large groups and some who were very obnoxious , inebriated and not appropriate talking in foul language"

  • "Delicious lunch during restaurant week. They had minimal options, but they were great options so it was fine. The potatoes were so good - I was not expecting them to be as flavorful as they were. Our waiter was very attentive - it was pretty quiet as it was lunch time. I do wish they had a restaurant week menu for dinner as well. You can't beat the views from any seat - overlooking the water and seeing all the planes - even with the strong winds and overcast day, it was still beautiful."

  • "Del Frisco's never disappoints with the food but this time service was a touch slow. Again the food is terrific and service was not bad it just was not up to the Del Frisco 100% standard. The acoustics/noise level should be addresses, Its difficult to hear your company but easily hear other tables? Also we ordered a 2nd bott;e of wine but they did not have another bottle. Perhaps these issues where due to it being a Monday night and right after restaurant week? I still rate DF's 4 out of 5 stars with the small negatives listed above."

  • "We were here to celebrate my husbands birthday. Trevor was our server. He did an excellent job and was very attentive. He recommended the special steak which was a Kansas City bone in strip. All 3 of our steaks were slightly under cooked and we sent them back. They came back cooked perfectly. Although normally when I steak is under cooked when you send it back they usually come back overcooked. My steak came back perfect. It was the best tasting steak I have ever had. Trevor brought us out a tray of desserts on the house to make up for the steaks being sent back. Everything was delicious with the exception of the lobster mac and cheese which wasn' t that good. Other than that it was a great experience."

  • "This is arguably the best steak house in Boston. There's a lot of wait staff who are generally experienced, management presence, and a beautiful room. The food is excellent when it's done right. However, I find there's always some issue with my meal here... like my recent meal.. an item under-cooked... two of our apps served cold. That shouldn't happen in a place like this. The incredibly high prices should be enough to fund excellent training and supervision so this doesn't happen. The place is maddeningly loud when it's busy, so try to go off peak to enjoy the wonderful dining room. Fantastic, extensive (but very expensive) wine list. If all goes right you can have a great meal... but unfortunately too inconsistent. RECOMMENDED"

  • "Del Frisco's offers excellent steak dinners in an equally wonderful setting. Portions are ample and the "family style" serving of side dishes allow everyone to share. The lobster mac and cheese is outstanding, and could have been the main meal by itself. The servers are welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu and preparation of each dish, and ready to accommodate any special request. It is a great place to celebrate a special occasion."

  • "Service was excellent, food was very good. The view is Top notch. But the pricing is off the hook. 4 of us had dinner $ 550. (A bit much). We are big income families and can Afford it, but It's my number 2 after Ruth's Chris where the food Is phenomenal and the drinks are tasty at a much better rate. The bar, the drinks were rushed being prepared, At 17 a pop and not to enjoyable with the hostess walking By every to seconds asking party of 4 Smith? Jones? Brown? That Was distracting. You need a better system for diners in the Lounge waiting for tables. Nice place but needs some revamping Of procedures and pricing for sure!"

  • "We have been to Del Friscos a few times in the last year. Can't say enough about the food and the service. Off the charts. Crabcake, shrimp cocktail, lobster mac and cheese all fantastic. Every piece of meat is amazing. One time i had piece I didn't love...they replaced it without blinking. The prices are high, but you get what you pay for."

  • "The restaurant offers a picturesque harbor view. Other than that there is no reason to come back to this establishment. This is a restaurant version of a cheesy, trashy, nightclub. All the female staff wore the same micro mini skirts/ dresses that you would see at a nightclub and they all sound like they come from the Bronx. Just a real rough scene. The food was ehhh and way overpriced for what it is. We'll stick to the classier houses: Capital Grille, Abe and Louie, Grille 23 and Legals."

  • "This was our first time there, food was good, service was ok. I was expecting more attention from our server we couldn't know a lot from the restaurant and explanations about the menu she was just runing around"

  • "The steak and chops were as good as they get. We enjoyed ourselves, the food, the ambience, and the service. The view was an added treat."

  • "I heard the steak was really good and decided to try this place during restaurant week. The service was wonderful! Isaac, our waiter, was so nice and took care of us well. The staff was very friendly and the manager stopping by was a great touch. The view of the waterfront and the city was very nice too! I had the filet and my sister had the salmon. The steak was moist but taste wise, it does not compare to Ruth's Chris. It did not have enough flavor for me. The salmon was good and cooked pretty well. The mash potatoes are spot on and remind me of my grandmother. The chocolate mousse for dessert was good but I could do without the chocolate chips in it."

  • "Love the service & the experience here! Went for lunch as part of Dine Out Boston (the new name for Restaurant Week). Can't beat the value at Del Friscos: Salad, fillet, dessert = $25. The first thing the waiter asked was if we had a time crunch for getting in & out so he could manage everything accordingly. When we said an hour, he had the check ready to go in plenty of time. When we teetered on whether to get a 2nd glass of wine, he offered up 1/2-glass options which we took advantage of. The steak was cooked to perfection, and they do a great job making sure you know exactly what your order means to them (Medium Rare = red center, etc.). The view is an amazing accompaniment to the experience. No better place to spend lunch!"

  • "I had a "just ok" experience with Del Frisco's when the Seaport restaurant first opened a few years ago, so when my boyfriend was heading out of town, I though we'd enjoy a nice meal together before his departure, and give Del Frisco's another go. Unfortunately, I was slightly disappointed. Although the sides (chateau potatoes and onion rings) were great, the filet and the steak trio were disappointing. My steak was under-cooked (far too red and a bit cold in the center) and my boyfriend's was chewy to the point were he left a medallion almost completely untouched. Although the ambiance of the restaurant is great - we had fun watching the planes take off - we won't be rushing back."

  • "took a few clients out for a nice steak dinner, and got RAVE reviews! we're all in the food business, and a couple of them actually commented that it was "the best steak i've ever eaten!". i guess that says it all."

  • "Had a special dinner in town after visiting the Seaport World Trade Center. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. It was very noisy though - you could hardly hear the wait staff. A great place for a special occasion when money is no object."

  • "DelFrisco's had been our favorite steakhouse until our visit on 3/15. I probably would not return after this visit. Yes, steakhouses are usually loud but we had the table furthest from the bar and still could not hear one another talk. We could barely hear our waiter. I also noticed that as soon as we stopped eating, 3 people swooped in to clear our table and package our leftovers. The message was clear they wanted the table despite the fact that we were there for less than one hour. When you are paying 350+ for dinner, you don't want to feel rushed after an hour. Also, the side dishes were smaller than usual, while at the same time, the prices on everything seem to have gone up. Disappointing all around."

  • "A group of us visited on a recent Sunday night. We did make a reservation which was a good move because the bar and restaurant filled up pretty quickly. As always the bartenders and wait service were wonderful and attentive and the food was top shelf. The bar menu and the dinner specials can't be beat! I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back. This is a great bar scene during the week after work as well."

  • "The energy and surroundings were what you would expect from a high end happening place. Seems like most tables for two are along the window overlooking the water. Half hour wait with a reservation at 8:30 on a Friday night wasn't unexpected. It's a very loud place though- difficult to hear your date or the waitress at times. The quality of the steak was fantastic- I had a fillet without a bit of gristle cooked to perfection. Meals don't come with sides however- but with the steak portion sizes there wasn't much room for more in my belly. $21 for 2 cocktails and $107 for the salmon and 12 oz fillet with 2 sides before a tip."

  • "First time diners. We've traveled extensively throughout N. America - this place is among our top restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive, but not overwhelming. Our waitperson asked for a detailed description of how we wanted our steak prepared and came back to check. The wait time for delivery of our meals was reasonable. The meat is simply prepared - not gaffed up at all. We started with the crab cake appetizer....so glad we did - it is the best we've ever had anywhere....emphasis is on crab, not on cake (not a breaded wafer like many restaurants present)....don't pass this dish by if you go. We had a booth that gave us some privacy while still providing a great view of the waterfront. Simply a terrific dining experience."
