del DenteTuesday dinnerThe service is always great. The food seems to be better on Tuesday than Sunday. Fennel Crusted Beef Carpaccio, Grilled Calamari were especially excellent. Pan Roasted Lamb Sirloin and Flat Iron Steak were very very good. One of us asked for a well done steak, it had a tiny bit of pink but was well done enough, tender and juicy. I personally like my steak blue rare and I find the well done steak very acceptable.
Lasagna Arrotolato tonight was very excellent also. Lightly browned top with semi thicken sauce. Compare to a Sunday dinner 5 weeks ago, tonight was several steps better. 5 weeks ago Sunday was at an acceptable level. I enjoyed the food and service a lot, as everything came in manageable non-filling portions. We love the atmosphere of the restaurants. My favourite place is del Dente's for dinner because its very classy yet you can dress casual. I have not had anything on the menu that I haven't liked. Their pastas are great but they are also well known for their steak, and other meats. The chocolate overdose drink is delicious. They offer a loaf of warm bread in a "flower pot" with homemade herb and cinnamon dips which are delicious as you wait for your meal. If you have not tried this restaurant it is a must try!
