Deerpark RestaurantUnique place for lunch or brunchThe Deerpark Restaurant is a dining facility at the Biltmore Estate. It is open for lunch on Saturday and Brunch on Sunday and is available only to holders of an Estate admission ticket or pass. The Deerpark is an outstanding buffet in a breathtaking setting. Our most recent visit was on Mother's Day, a very busy time at the Biltmore Estate. Getting onto the Estate on a busy holiday is a slow process. It took us about fifteen minutes to get past two bottlenecks. However, once past the gate, we found that the Estate is set up to handle very large crowds. There was plenty of parking at the Deerpark, and we were seated within a few minutes. Reservations are required, at least on a busy day. All of the food is excellent.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful and elegantDeerpark is set in a beautiful part of the Biltmore Estate. The waitstaff are very attentive and the food is excellent. It is a bit pricey but worth it for special occasions.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA great place for lunch or brunchDeerpark Restaurant, part of the Biltmore Estate, is a great place to dine. The special occasion brunches are fabulous. There is large room entirely filled with food on these occasions. There are areas for vegetables and casseroles, meats, breakfast foods, salads, breads, and desserts. All of the food is good and the wait staff is very helpful and cheerful. There is a lovely courtyard in the center of the building and glass panels that open onto it when the weather is warm enough. I've been going here for years for lunches and brunches and it never fails to please.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDining at Deerpark with ChildrenThe staff at Deerpark were wonderful and courteous. They held our reservation when we were running late, and though I wouldn't classify it as a family restaurant, they were wonderful to my four children, even bringing us extra blueberries for my 1 yr old and helping my daughters at the buffet. Food was delicious and eclectic; fun to try new combinations, but still enough comfort food to please my children who ate mac&cheese by the plateful.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service, food okMy only complaints would be the temperature of the foods were not warm enough and not a kid friendly menu for my twelve year old daughter. Our waitress, Shelba, was friendly and efficient.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMI loved our waitress, Tonya.I loved our waitress, Tonya. I loved Aaron Lafalace playing guitar. I loved the food. Thanks so much!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful BrunchWe travel 3 hours one way to enjoy the bruch at The Deerpark on Biltmore Estate. This is something we do three or four times a year. The food, service and atmospher are always wonderful and we have never been disapointed. If you enjoy history and good food, give Biltmore a try. The brunch is generally only on Sunday and is seasonal, but there are several wonderful places to eat at Biltmore, check out their web page.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Anniversary CelebrationWe thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon buffet and especially the chocolate-covered strawberries brought to us when wait staff learned we were celebrating our 23rd anniversary. The guitarist was also a special treat, took our request and looked up words so he could play for us "our song"!! Luncheon buffet awesome especially the roast beef sandwich (our favorite), baked salmon and pork loin were also delicious. Very memorable, relaxing date to reflect on our marriage! Will come again soon.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI was truly impressed withI was truly impressed with the selection of food on the buffet. It wasn't like any buffet that I have been to in that my eyes didn't fill up my stomach before I was able to eat. I was able to have a small sample of all the items on the buffet. For me the fresh vegetables were the best and my sisters enjoyed the deviled eggs with lobster. And the desserts were awesome especial the tarts and chocolate cake. The atmosphere was great and kid friendly. It was open, inviting ane private at the same time. Our waitress Loretta made the experience a memorable one. She was very pleasant and asked if we needed anything and if we were enjoying our meals.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat brunch selection andGreat brunch selection and everything was fresh and delicious. WeThe food was excellent. We had a great waitress, which is rare these days. There was a foreign waitress that stood amongst the tables and pretty much ruined the brunch by having a personal conversation with another waitress for a great length of time (she was maybe Mexican, and 30s-40s, and short). She was the only negative that day. Enjoyed the view, the live music, and the brunch. The food was better than the other restaurants at Biltmore. Would definitely recommend, and already have. Thanks!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for a small orGreat place for a small or large group. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. Live acoustic music indoors was a welcome addition this year.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic salmon, greens,Fantastic salmon, greens, and carrot soup! Amazing chocolate torte, and unique pea and barley salad. looking forward to another visit.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe only thing I would changeThe only thing I would change is keep the food warmer. Most of the food, except the omelet were just warm-lukewarm. There were six of us, and we all agreed about the temperature of the food. I would also turn up the heat on cooler days, as sitting next to the windows was cool. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptionalNever a disappointment. High end food and presentation for brunch! Go try it!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMsomething to look forward to-My sister and friend and I looked forward to our "girl time" on Sunday all week. Brunch at Deerpark is well, so civilized! Makes you feel special! If you want to treat yourself to a divine day, consider Brunch at Deerpark. The food was presented so beautifully with something for everyone. And it was really good. This is a different kind of buffet as the intimacy of the space, coupled with the windows everywhere, made you feel like you were in a garden and invited great conversation. Easy to get to all the food stations too. All the servers, chefs, had SMILES and that goes MILES for me. The coffee never got cold thanks to our lovely server.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had brunch at DeerparkWe had brunch at Deerpark on St. Patrick's Day which is also our Wedding Anniversary. The waitress brought us four chocolate "gems" with Happy Anniversary written in (what else!) chocolate. It was a beautiful touch and made the day even more special.
