Holiday events such as the Thanksgiving Day Buffet, Brunches With Santa, Valentine's Dinner, Easter Buffet, and Mother's Day Buffet showcase outstanding cuisine in a festive, holiday atmosphere. We went to Deerfield for the Easter Brunch and got our pictures taken with the Easter Bunny who walked around to the tables. While their website mentioned that brunch was free for children under 12, on the holiday that policy changes, so we ended up spending more than we planned. It was very busy but not crowded at the food tables. The smaller parties were seated by the windows which was a great advantage as there were many tables of large families. The lobster bisque and the bread pudding were excellent. There was a children's table with a good selection. There were more lunch foods than breakfast foods. Nice selection of seafoods at a separate table. Some guests got golf cart rides to the building from the secondary parking lot.

The food was excellent. Lots of great choices. I loved their seafood selection, especially the crab cakes. The country club was elegant as was the country setting. I am from Michigan and was visiting my husband who is working in Newark for a year. I found the restaurant on the internet. I plan on dining there again every time I come out.

We have been there once before for a Christmas Brunch and to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was excellent then and also this time aroound. Plenty of food, good variety, and my favorite was the rack of lamb. Yummy!!!! Am looking forward to our next visit. Waitstaff was pleasant and kept the table cleared and refills coming.
