  • "We went to Deep Fork for our 40th wedding anniversary. I let the restaurant know in advance that it was a special occasion and boy did they take care of us. We had a special secluded table with fresh flowers and a candle and even a curtain to close if we wanted to. The meal was delicious and the service was great. We sure felt very special. Thank you for all who made this meal one to remember."

  • "Two of us on Saturday night, took 2.5 hours for dinner. Waiter was either high or brain damaged. Tried to tell us the specials three times. He had trouble trying to remember how their steaks were cooked. Like "cool red center is rare.."Every time he went away he was gone for ever! Food barely warm when served. Quail very tough and dry. Asked for a steak knife to cut it, had finished it by the time he brought the knife. Salmon was tasteless and drowning in sauce that had formed a skin on top. Called the manager after leaving (it was a special occasion, did not want to spoil it further by complaining) was told that our waiter was one of his best servers. He then invited me to come back and let them "try again to give us a better experience"."

  • "Sunday afternoon lunch with Mom and my sister. Food was VERY good and service made me proud to have recommended the Deep Fork Grill to celebrate my 60th birthday. I Had the pink salmon with seared asparagus. Cooked to perfection! I'll be going back very soon and I won't wait for a special occasion!!!"

  • "Compared to similar restaurants with similar ambience and food, we found the menu a little pricey...food was delicious and we didn't feel rushed, but would probably save a repeat for a special occasion rather than a weeknight outing...there were not very many wine choices served by the glass...having everything ala carte such as a salad or veggie always increases the price of just a basic entrée...Plan on a pretty basic meal for 2 plus 2 glasses of wine to be right at $100."

  • "First visit to Deep Fork Grill. Beautiful interior and lovely decor. Had the duck with the berry/chili glaze on the side and the caesar salad before. Caesar salad was generous portion excellent flavor, just how I like it. The duck was very nice however it was slightly overcooked in parts and perfect in others. The glaze was delightful, more sweet but I could not detect a chili flavor. Nice wine list and sampled 2 of them prior to picking the Milbrandt Estate Cab. Dillon was a very gracious and attentive waiter. Very professional and enjoyable to talk to. I shall return!"

  • "Go to many places, but the food is great here. You get what you pay for here. Great service from chris. I will be a regular for sure. They took care of us, and made us feel at home."

  • "We had a great time – as usual – at Deep Fork. We took an out-of-town client to dinner on Monday night. We had sea bass as well as pasta alfredo at our table. The sea bass platter was excellent. The risotto and spinach sides were to die for. The alfredo was not very flavorful and very stringy with melted cheese. Our waiter was attentive, but not hovering – just right. My only real disappointment of the evening was the strawberry cake we had for dessert. It was dry and very cold (straight from the cooler). All-in-all it was a nice evening and we will definitely return."

  • "I enjoyed my time at Deep Fork with my bridge group. Our waiter was very good and I really enjoyed being able to play there. I found the onion soup a bit salty and pricey for the amount. The rolls were wonderful."

  • "A very bad meal. The worst expensive meal I have ever had."

  • "I'm always pleased when I can find a nice place open on a Monday night. The location was a little tricky to get into because of some local construction but worth the effort. the tomato crab bisque was a great way to start. I followed this with a garden salad, ( the choice of greens used could have been much better. not in par with the rest of the meal. Then had the Duck. this was excellent. The atmosphere was romantically lit and quiet. My Water was very attentive and has this amassing deep voice. I will defiantly return when i visit this city again."

  • "We went on valentines day for dinner. They were having a special three course meal consisting of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding.! The service was exquisite! I couldn't have asked for a more romantic setting for us. The only small complaint I would say is I felt the cost per person was a little high. At $65/person plus drinks plus automatic gratuity, it came out to be $150 dinner and we didn't order any alcohol."

  • "We have been to Deep Fork Grill numerous times in the past but not for Valentine's Day and I must recommend it to any romantic couple. The table and booth locations are spacious, you do not feel crowded. The appetizers, in fact, all of the meals were delicious. The service was excellent and the wine list, as usual, was international and excellent. We both chose the Sea Bass, mine with smashed potatoes and my husband had the risotto. We both had asparagus. The Sea Bass was flaky and flavorful. The smashed potatoes were really good (no grit) and the risotto was creamy smooth. The asparagus was done to perfection, not overcooked or too crunchy, just right. We had strawberry cake for desert and it was delicious. The service was excellent."

  • "Our service wasn't good because we started the meal with water only and we got the typical "your one of those customers" from the server. We split and a meal and that ended up adding more fuel to the fire. The food was very bland and the short ribs were soupy. My wife ended up ordering a drink and the service improved slightly. Overall, it was a poor meal with poor service. So, order alcohol first thing and don't split."

  • "I went to this restaurant on Valentine's Day and they had a set menu. The service was okay but nothing to get excited about. The price of the food was ridiculous and I ended up paying around $170 for a dinner for 2. If you have an absurd amount of money and you don't mind blowing it on decent food then this is the place for you."

  • "My husband and I decided to try Deep Fork Grill for the first time, and we were so glad that we did. The food was superb, as well as the wine pairings, and the service and atmosphere were impeccable. Although the tab was quite massive for us, we were well aware of and prepared for the cost. It's definitely an occasional type of meal for us, but for such an occasion Deep Fork was the perfect choice. Thank you for a fun and memorable evening."

  • "The tip was included in the bill which is a bit odd for a table of two,,,, anyone that did not look at the bill would have left a double tip. normally tips included in the bill are for tables of 6 or more??"

  • "The food was good, we both had a choice of steak that was decent. 200+$ tab was a little steep for what we received, but we weren't entirely disappointed. We would return to see what the regular dinner menu was like."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner at Deep Fork Grill. We were directed to a private wrap around booth in the back, which was great for conversing.. We were not rushed by tbe staff ~ very courteous. The waiter was attentive to our needs and requests as was the chef. All of the food was perfectly prepared and excellent in quality / taste. Music was just the right volume and relaxing. We had a very nice time. My husband especially enjoyed it, which was the whole intent of the evening. The only thing preventing a perfect 5 is the need to do a little refurbishing. The building interior / exterior does not do justice to the excellence of the well prepared food and unrushed atmosphere."

  • "Kitchen was super slow this night. We had 4 dining for dinner. Only one of us ordered an entree. The rest of us salads and starters. Yet it took almost 45 min for the food to arrive. That's too slow."

  • "Deep Fork has steadily gone downhill over the years. What was once a nice restaurant for a special event is now mediocre, at best. The server was inadequate and seemed to have no social skills whatsoever. He never even introduced himself and was indifferent to our needs as customers. The food was just plain bad. The Korean Ribs are awful. I got them on the Hog Trio alongside the hot link and BBQ pulled pork-both of which were equally bad. The pulled pork was one step from being burnt and tasted like it had been sitting in old molasses for several days. I left the majority of the meats on the plate, ate the fries and salad. I'm sorry to see this restaurant go by the wayside. Marking it off the list of places to go.."

  • "My husband and I were visiting OKC for the weekend and planned to dine at Deep Fork. The meal was fantastic. The waiter was sub-par. We had to ask if there was a special /soup / wine suggestions. He was dis-interested in us. However it didn't matter. I ordered the Pasta Del Mar. Two giant scallops, lots of shrimp and squid throughout the entire dish. They did not skimp on the food and the sauce was perfect. My husand had the NYStrip and it was also cooked to perfection. If you can get past the surfer type lazy waiter and just focus on the cheff, you won't be disappointed."

    Dined on 12/26/2013
  • "I mean, what happened to our waiter? Service was very poor but it was Christmas and they were the only show in town. The service was so bad that I actually felt bad for the waiter. There had to be something wrong in the back as we were not the only ones complaining. We were joking about how bad it was with the other tables around us. We will try it again as it could not always be that bad or they would have closed a long time ago. My steak was very good and perfectly cooked."

  • "For the last 5 years we have taken the in-laws to Deep Fork for Christmas Eve dinner. Last year was sub-par but we chalked it up as a fluke and returned this year. We should have known it was going to be bad as my wife and I had dined there a few months ago and were not impressed with the meal or service at that time. This years dining experience has put it over the top, I will NEVER dine at Deep Fork again. What made it absolutely TERRIBLE was my father-in-law and I ordered the "ribeye", this cut of beef was more in-line with what you would get at a diner or Denny's. No way this cut was a "Prime" or even "Choice" it had no marbling for flavor just big chucks of fat. This tasteless piece of cooked fat cost $65 per person"

  • "We enjoyed a very well prepared dinner and had excellent service for our 46th wedding anniversary. We have visited Deep Fork many times over the past few years since making an reservation for our anniversary 4 years ago. We always have great service, and they always seem to have some nice surprises to make the visit enjoyable."

  • "Have been several times, last year went for my Birthday on Saturday Dec 15th we got seated about an hour and fifteen minutes after our reservation. The food was great but was not fun standing in a packed doorway for over an hour. This past visit on the 14th of Dec was going better as we were seated close to our reservation time. We ordered and didn't get our dinner for over an hour. Our server came by about 3 times explaining she had no idea why it was taking to long. Didn't leave in the best of moods!"

  • "We arrived early to have a drink at the bar until our table was ready. We had barely started on our drinks when they came and told us our table was ready. We settled up with the bartender and headed to our table only to be told, once we had entered the dining room, that our table was not ready. After that, the rest of of the experience was excellent. Our table service was outstanding, the food was also very good. My wife had the Chilean sea bass, which she orders frequently when we go out, and she said it was the best she has ever had. I ordered the steak and shrimp special and it was very good and a good sized entree as well. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to a friend without hesitation."

  • "We have dined there before but this was a special occasion for my daughters 17th birthday. They sat us right away which was great. My daughter and her two friends had water spilled on them and one girls back was soaked and they were not treated to an apology or anything other than an additional napkin. The one girls dress was soaked the remainder of the night and not so much as a managers checking on her. When girls get dressed up it is a big deal and we felt a little put down by the response. The meal was also not as good as normal. Overall it was OK but for the price, the occasion, and being a Tuesday night, and a colossal staff spill, I expected MUCH more for $230.00!"
