  • "The decor is modern and clean with nice materials but spoiled by the lighting - small LED fixtures emitting an unpleasantly blue light; like sitting under a street light. It robbed everything of color and made my skin look like a corpse's. House salad with crispy pancetta and bibb lettuce was good, but the melted cheese on sliced bread (croutons) was nearly insulting. The gazpacho was painfully spicy but passable. I thoroughly enjoyed the seared scallop, especially the smoked tomato butter - it was the highlight of the meal. The sirloin was flavorful but tough to chew and had to be cut into extremely small pieces to eat. Our server danced on the line between barely adequate and downright poor - both in attitude and attentiveness."

  • "My husband & I came here for the first time during Restaurant Week. We've been to this location when it was called Nosh and figured we'd tried something new because it was close to home. Initially we weren't too impressed with the Restaurant Week menu selection so also looked at the overall menu. We thought the overall menu was a bit overpriced but guessed they're trying to price themselves alongside a typical high quality steak house. Given that we wanted to experience Restaurant Week and I had the Central Market "fourth course" certificates we went with the Restaurant Week option. The food was incredibly tasteful. The portions were very small and the $12 martini I ordered was in a flute glass, we will try again from the standard menu."

  • "Wife and I eat out quite a bit, but do not often yelp or over critique. We often use yelp reviews as a guide though. DL's yelp reviews were so so but we went anyway for the steak and restaurant week. I had the prime rib. Steak cooked "steak-style" medium rare= Awesome!!! I also had the Lobster Mac n cheese= so so. Smoked Gouda took away from the flavor of the pasta and lobster. The service, though dressed down, was spot on. Not friendly in the sense to just chat with you, but attentive and watchful. My wife ordered from the restaurant week menu and had a chicken breast with a chorizo gravy which she really enjoyed. We enjoyed our overall experience. The only negative was that it is loud place. They need to dampen the sound. We will be bk."

  • "Tried this restaurant on a weeknight during Restaurant Week. It was early. Waiter was knowledgeable about wine and attentive. Food was very favorful and well prepared. Loved the gazpacho. Only quibble is that there was only one choice of dessert on Restaurant Week menu and it was a too sweet for my taste."

  • "First off the place is confused as to what it wants to be. Steakhouse high end food or burger bar and drinks. The concept of "family table" hip interior, yet black table linens and music that fits if your 50 yrs old. The manager on duty was cold to the point of rude unless you were 60 yr old couple, then it was hugs and kisses. Way to many servers so that 3 would bring salads, one to carry pepper, yet we sat with empty drinks over and over. Food was good however nothing special. Menu offering from $12-$60. Our bill for dinner for two $204 for bar food and no service. The entire experience was less than stellar and completely forgettable. The place was 20% full, I see why. I don't see any reason I would return. Added to the NO list!"

  • "Restaurant week menu at Dee Lincoln's was limited but had nice choices. The house salad was delicious with great presentation, including the melted cheese over the 'croutons'. Was skeptical about grits with sirloin, but the overall entree of Wagyu sirloin, green beans and grits was delicious. Scotch was not overpriced. Dee Lincoln's is a strange hybrid. It has a modern vibe with clean lines, upscale food but a casual atmosphere, maybe a little loud. It seems strange to pay upscale prices to a servicer in black jeans and black t-shirt, but the food was worth the price."

  • "Fabulous location and beautiful decor for this new Plano location. Our server, Andy was attentive, knowledgeable and fun for our party of six. We were sat at a table lodged between the bathroom path and server station. Did I mention we had a reservation? The soup of the day was served so salty, it could not be eaten. Salads were fine but nothing special. Four of the six entrees were served cold. The brisket grits were yummy even though the sirloin was not tender. The shrimp with corn was the best entree. The Scallop entree was small and pricey. We concluded our meal with oversized desserts that were too sweet for our taste buds. Sad that we were all discouraged by our Dee Lincoln evening."

  • "The food was excellent and the service was very good. In fact, one of our meals was not prepared properly and the waiter and manager offered to take it off the bill without and hesitation. The only issue is the noise level. There are hard surfaces everywhere. At some points we felt the noise was coming at us from all directions. It was difficult to carry on a conversation."

  • "I highly recommend booking the Chef's Tasting Table with Executive Chef, Andrew Powers. It's a culinary experience that my husband and I won't soon forget - impeccable tasting courses, each more interesting than the course before. If you love food and want an out of the ordinary dining experience, book this table - and be sure and arrive hungry. The wine list is also very interesting and the staff's wine suggestions were very good. The bar scene was lively all evening as well."

  • "Scallops and brussels sprouts were very good - that was it. Steak was over cooked, lobster mac/cheese was luke warm, crab cake was nothing but mayo and service was nice but not attentive. Received no bread with salads and asked for a glass of wine when main course was served, it came 15 minutes later. Very disappointing. For the price - I expect professional wait staff, not college summer help."

  • "We got a table full of appetizers & sides and had a wonderful feast! The lobster tacos were FULL of delicious lobster. The hushpuppy Shrimp were large and tasty. For Sides, we had the Lobster Mac&Cheese which was - again - FULL of lobster, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Corn with Chorizo. ( This was our favorite.) My friend's burger got rave reviews, too. Yes, it is pricier than just a burger joint - but the portions seemed to match the price point. There was no skimping on any of our dishes."

All the food was outstanding, and nothing we ordered did we complete (lots of take home boxes which we are enjoying tonight). So for those that have a sweet tooth and trying to make it to desert, don't order too many sides. They are all good and filling. We will return to try other items."

  • "The service at the restaurant was good, especially the bartenders. That was the best of it. The food was not good and over priced. Their steaks were thin and very fatty. I had a fish special that was good. But the other 3 people I went with left half of their food on their plates. The waitress was good, but seemed stretched thin. Might be a good place to meet for appetizers and drinks, but skip the full meals."

  • "First time here and found that the staff seemed overwhelmed even though the place was at 1/4 capacity. Greeted with a friendly face and seated right away. The menus were apparently too heavy for the sweet hostess and we basically had them dropped in front of us at the table. Seriously, who needs a 5 lbs menu? Started with the popcorn shrimp which was good but overpriced. Wedge salad was awesome and then had the trout special. My partner had a burger and our friend had the salmon. We also shared three sides, Brussell sprouts (amazing!), corn and regular fries. The food was all very good but the interior had a cheap, lack-luster feel. Felt more like a nice burger joint. For the prices, we all agreed that the staff and interior lack."

We told them yes only to have no recognition of our celebration. Not a big deal but if it is to you I would stress it to the hostess upon arrival. It is a burger and steak place.   • "Dee Lincoln has never failed me in the past, however, there is a first time for everything. We were two couples out on Friday night hungery for steak. The drinks were just "ok", the bottle to wine was quite good and reasonable. We all had filets and ordered them medium rare. One was served correctly, two ate theirs and said too well done. Mine was so overcooked, I sent it back only to have them serve my second steak more overcooked than the first. The brussel sprouts were burned as well as my steak. We skipped desert and will not be back again. Maybe a great burger spot but I'm not ready to try them!"

  • "Went to Dee's for my parents anniversary. we were excited a new restaurant was opening up. i have been to the burger bar in uptown and it was great. The only good thing about this one was the steak.i ordered the Filet- medium. it was so tender, juicy, and melted in your mouth. got the side of macnchz which is way over priced, really dry, and serving mac n chz on a plate is annoying bc you can't stir it up, it just slides all over the plate. we also ordered the halibut which was on special, it came with cold green beans, the rest of the meal was alright. we also ordered the burger it was decent but katy trail across the street has a way better burger. the onion rings were fine, they were huge and the skin would just fall right off.drink only"

  • "It's modern, bright, clean, and inviting. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good to very good. It is a bit pricy for the quality; If the food were excellent, price would be spot on with Kirby's, etc. For example, my daughter and wife ordered their steak medium well; it came closer to well. The flat iron steak I had was unfortunately "chewy". For $ 38, I would have though they could tenderize it more. Hopefully, they will fine tune the kitchen."

  • "Steaks were great, wine list was very good and priced well, sides were all too heavy as were the fried green tomatoes. We were there at 7 on a wednesday and it was full and extremely loud. Seating for two were 3-4 tables at the service end of the bar, just not enough room, too loud and too much server traffic. Parking is problematic. We won't be going back."
