Diner Reviews
  • "Tried out the Steak and Burger Bar -- wasn't sure what to expect. We both got the ribeye, which was as good as Del Frisco's and the roasted brussel sprouts were delicious! Also, best wedge salad I had ever had. Waiter was very helpful and knowledgable. Atmosphere was louder and more casual than I expected, but it does cater to the local group and does play current music and have sports on TVs. I am looking forward to trying a lunch there."

  • "If you a looking for a solid restaurant with great food and service try Dee Lincoln's. The atmospher is contemporary casual and buzzy. We had a group of six which allows you to try multiple side items. You can have gourmet hamburgers are a signature Dee Lincoln Prime USA Grade steak grilled to perfection. Brussel spouts, yes, Brussel spouts grilled with bacon are delicious! Cream corn with chorizo is also outstanding. We have been many times and they are always consistently good. We only wish we had room to try one of the deserts! Enjoy!"

  • "3rd time back...because it was great the first 2. The steakhouse was very busy. But that's not an excuse for excellent service not showing up. Slow to order drinks, slow to deliver food, rare filet was received instead of medium rare...which turned into medium (after the steak was sent back). I might have to think twice about going to Dee's on a Saturday night. I'll go back on a week night instead!"

  • "My wife and I grabbed a last-minute table for a Saturday night date at Dee Lincoln's Steak and Burger Bar. We ordered from the "Steak" side of the menu - I thought the dichotomy between the high-brow steak/cuisine and the more affordable burger/sandwich menu was a unique twist to the place. Really fun atmosphere - saw quite a diverse crowd from old-money folks to young hipsters. Ms. Lincoln herself was circulating through the room as well. Very good steak but the side dishes really shine - the crispy brussels sprouts and chorizo skillet corn were amazing. Overall a great meal and one of the more 'fun' scenes in a fine-dining restaurant around Dallas."

  • "We have been to Dee Lincoln 3 or 4 times and each time the food is excellent. Keep up the good work"

  • "I ordered a turkey burger and got a beef burger instead. After taking a bite I knew it didn't taste right. It wouldn't be a big deal for most people but I haven't eaten red meat in 18 years. Once the server and manager found out they were very apologetic and comped some of the food. But it was still gross. Needless to say we won't be going back."

  • "Lee's reputation as a steak expert stands. One of the best ribeyes I've ever had. Interesting sides & great service. Highly recommend."

  • "Took my daughter and wife to Dee Lincoln's. Had a 7:30 reservation and was seated promptly. Got our drinks and ordered salads, which arrived within about 15 minutes. Finished up with the salads by 8:15 or so and were told that the kitchen was backed up. Not sure why, but it took almost one hour to get served our entrée. Very disappointing."

  • "Enjoyed amazing crab cake, INCREDIBLE steak, and very yummy iron skillet roasted corn for our Valentine's Day dinner! Dinner, service, and hospitality was outstanding! There was a fixed menu for Valentine's Day, but we will absolutely return to try out their regular menu. The atmosphere is very "open" and modern, so the noise level is quite high, but it does make it entertaining to watch everthings that's happening in their kitchen - very cool set up! Definitely be going back! Parking is limited, so use the VERY affordable Valet service ($5)!"

  • "My wife and I went for Valentine's Day. The appetizers were excellent. We both had steak that was wonderful. The waiter was great and didn't rush us at all. We had Dee's Cabernet wine and it was great. Went very well with the meal. We will be back."

  • "Food was great, just took way to long to serve the group. Also brought stuff out in stages -- We were done eating the burgers when the fries were brought out."

  • "Filet mignon was delicious. Need a better menu. Nice staff. Good waiter until paid check, then absent. Other staff had to refill water."

  • "My fiancé and I went to Dee Lincoln for Valentine's Day dinner. They had changed their menu to a special 3 course meal for the occasion. I got a glass of a Malbec wine (they only have 1 offered by the glass) and Ross got a glass of port. Both were fantastic. He got the shrimp bisque and I got the baby kale salad. Those were great. We both got the ribeye that was offered in the special menu. His was medium and I got mine medium+. Omg the steaks were cooked perfectly, tender, and seasoned just right. For dessert I got the berry romanoff while Ross got the chocolate torte. We devoured our meal and every bit of it seemed thought out and the flavors complemented each other very well. We will definitely be going back!"

  • "Valentine's Day was extra special this year because of Dee. The Valentine menu was awesome and each and every dish tasted like it had just won a prize. From great crew in valet to the facility and arrangements, the night was perfect."

  • "Ordered a $10 salad that had three small leaves of lettuce, and not much else on it. It tasted good, but I ate it in about 4 bites. $7 cup of beef stew was tasty but had only one small piece of beef in it. $10 specialty drink had so much ice that it was consumed in two sips. Although the food is tasty, the portions are way too small, so it is not worth the price. I left hungry after mostly filling up on bread. Disappointing for the expensive price."

  • "The ambience and music was perfect for a fun friday night with the girls (young crowd like mid 20s to 30s)! I recommend the jalapeno drink, it's sweet with a slight taste of spice (barely). I got the crabcakes since I wasnt too hungry, they were good but only a small portion, not a meal size. Next time im getting the street tacos, and then coming back for the variety of unique burgers! The manager was very friendly and personable. We felt welcomed and perfect service!"

  • "I've been to this location twice now, this time the service was spotty to say the least and that made our experience less enjoyable than my first visit. However, the food was delicious! I split a filet with a friend along with a side of the brussell sprouts. Another friend ordered the salmon and said it was excellent. I do wish the steak filet salad offered at lunch was also available for dinner."

  • "Salmon & catch of the day both very nice. Crispy brussel sprouts were good but not really crispy."

  • "Great dinner ... Service was great. We didn't use the menu. Waiter created our dinner. Too good!"

  • "Food not cooked to request - asked for medium rare burger well-done, waiter stood and spoke with us too long - even admitted that he was enjoying eavesdropping, coffee mug covered in lipstick, waited 20 minutes for our wine - with two other tables of people."

  • "We went with a group if friends and tried a large sampling of appetizers (hush puppy shrimp, fried green tomatoes, tuna stack and onion rings), along with 2 different salads and several different entrees and sides, followed by several different desserts. The standouts for me were the tuna stack (lots of goat cheese!), the South of the Border Burger, crispy Brussels sprouts, the Kennebec fries, and the cheesecake (I don't really even like cheesecake normally). The service was very friendly and timely, we even were able to meet the famed Dee Lincoln. We will definitely go back again."

  • "Had the hushpuppy shrimp, steakhouse tacos to start with and the Voodoo Burger as main course. All these were great, the only complaint was that the burger did not come with any type of side(they are all extra)"

  • "I went to this restaurant because Dee Lincoln has a reputation of providing great food, service, and ambiance. The ambiance was nice, however, the service was lack luster. Our server was not very attentive and rarely came to our table. At the end of the evening he actually got snippy with one of my friends because she asked for more change so she could pay and tip the valet. Honestly, I had better service at the Egg and I the next day at brunch from a 19 year old young man. In terms of food, no one of a table of 6, was impressed with their food. Three of us had burgers and have all accounted for having better burgers at places like Twisted Root. For the price, we all agreed we would have had a better meal at Dee's Bubble Bar."

  • "This is our third time to fine with them and the food was very good again. The steaks are as good if not better than any of dallas other steak houses including Bernaits and del Frisco. The only area that can use improvement is the quality of their wait staff The service is not bad but one would expect a more professional wait staff Otherwise I'm sure we will be back"

  • "The table staff need more training. Waitress put our utensils down backwards. knife on left side; fork on right. There were a couple of large groups the night we were there. Table staff may have been disorganized. Our hamburger was not hot and it was dried out like it had been sitting waiting to be picked up at the kitchen. Restaurant manager did a very nice job rectifying the situation. Replaced it with a fresh one. He took care of the bill for us. So, nice customer service touch at the end. I think they just need to some more training. Food was decent."

  • "Dee Lincoln is a rock star of restaurant owners, but even she apparently cannot take over a poor layout of a restaurant that has failed twice before and hope to succeed with anything less than food perfection. Such was not the case when we visited and ordered lamb burgers. They were dry, small and the buns were overbearing. The mushrooms were Devine, but not enough to bring me back and I adore Dee Lincoln."

  • "Not knowing what to expect as we tried this new dee Lincoln rest we were overwhelmed Not only are you greeted by tony and the staff like long time friends you are treated like guests in their home. The food was fabulous, I had the NY Strip and it was prepared perfectly and as good if not better that the named Dallas steak houses. My wife had the Tuna steak seasoned and cooked perfectly. The wine list is varied and affordable. If you have not been here yet please put it on your list. We will be back very soon."

  • "We were very impressed with Dee Lincoln's new Steak and Burger Bar. We started with the Sashimi Tower and the Blue Cheese Pancetta Wedge Salad, which was so large, we shared it. My friend ordered the Potato Soup, which was just ok, I thought. It also came late, cause our waiter forgot. But he made up for it! We went with a Petit Filet and the $39 sixteen oz. Ribeye for our main courses. We had a great Simi Cab, the roasted baby carrots and their renowned Brussell Sprouts as sides. We finished off with the HUGE chocolate cake an some Tawney Port. To make up for the belatedly served soup, our waiter surprised us with a comped slice of the Strawberry Cheese Cake, which was also HUGE, really delicious! Also met Dee Lincoln herself! Very cool!"

  • "My girlfriend and I went to Dee Lincoln's Saturday night and from when we walked in to when we left the service was amazing! We had reservations but decided to start at the bar and our host and the manager told us to take our time and he actually meant it. We can't say enough about the bartenders, wait staff and did I mention the food? The food was excellent! I highly recommend this place if you are looking at a fun night our or a romantic dinner."

  • "eggplant appetizer was dry with barely a hint of the usual miso paste, the burger was very small and underwhelming for a fine restaurant, about the size of a drive through. the drinks were served in very small glasses the first filet was well under cooked and no steakhouse I've been too takes it back and recooks the same cut up pieces and reserves it the chocolate cake was served so steaming hot only a microwave could produce lingering heat from the core like that"
