  • "I have been here many times and the food, wine and beer is to die for but the service is always only ok. We received an incorrect flight and the server never apologized, though he did replace it. I feel like for the prices and type of restaurant it is the service should always be outstanding."

  • "I love Dean and Deluca for lunch but dinner was disaster. I ordered the hamburger without a bun and a side salad with blue cheese dressing.the menu said it was a bacon cheeseburger. What I got was a 1/4" patty, no bacon, no cheese! where'd it go?I haven't a clue. no ketchup on the side. My salad had an oil and vinegar dressing with a small cup of blue cheese on the side. Others said their chicken was overdone and dry. It just wasn't up to their usual standard."

  • "We arrived at 6:10 for a 6:15 reservation for 3 people. We were told our table wasn't ready and we would have a 15 minute wait. By 7:10 we were still waiting and there were still tables ahead of us to be seated. We left starving. Luckily, we called Aroojis and they fit us in. We had a fabulous dinner at Aroojis. Not going back to D&D. It was an aweful experience with terrible table and reservation management."

  • "My food and Pinot flight were great! I waited for 45 minutes for my reserved table!! Sat closer to the bar and in front of the door to the store (not the best table) it got cold and windy (yes indoors) every time the door to the outside by the bar was open, not the best thing while eating. I'd probably go back in the summer never again on a cold night!"

  • "I booked the table for 6 people and when we were met at the door by the hostess, she said she was sorry, but they were running late and it would be a few minutes. She invited us to sit at the bar (it was packed and there was no place to sit or stand). We waited with our party for over 20 minutes, asking several times for a status update. The excuse was "it is restaurant week." I was disappointed. While I realize restaurant week is busy, there is a reason for reservations. The server was always carrying plates and looked annoyed when we ordered-and we ordered the full deal: apps, bottles of wine, entrees, desserts, and coffees-I would have thought he would have been more attentive. I felt like the service was equivalent to Chili's. Bummer."

  • "We have enjoyed D&D since they added the new restaurant to the store. The food and wine have always been excellent. Ambience has usually been fast paced, crowded, good crowd. Our service was fair to poor this last time. Food was late arriving. Short rib was tough, stringy. Attentiveness to water, clearing table was poor especially with the very small table tops. Perhaps, this was due to Queen's feast week and more people than usual, but still no excuse. We'll give it another chance, but don't like poor service especially with food being less than what we expect."

  • "So awful we left after half an hour when all we had received was our wine. Was told that the food (a salad and hamburger) would be at least another 15 minutes. Service was terrible with the five waiters standing around playing on their phones."

  • "It's a weird concept. Aside from the service errors, no coffee at all after 6pm. Really? Six small toasts with a huge meat cheese plate. Really? Sat three if us at a table for six on New Year's Eve. Is there any management at this place?"

  • "Why Dean & DeLuca shows availability for large groups is a puzzle. I made a reservation for 12 people at 8:15. We were still waiting at 9:15 due to one table lingering, no fault of D&D's. I looked on Open Table to see if there was a table for 12 available anywhere else and guess who had a table in 30 minutes? Dean & DeLuca. Now as to the food, very good. And our server handled the large table well. But, another beef. They couldn't do a 3 way credit card split of a check."

  • "Was here for a business dinner for 5. After 30 minutes had to inquire if we had a server. The wine expert had already accidentally helped us, so we had wine, but no server. During the meal he was not attentive and slow. Not impressed. However, the food was excellent."
