DBGB Bar Room is a spacious and comfortable smoke-free area adjacent to our lively bar at the front of the dining room . To make a reservation in the main dining room, please use "DBGB" on the main Open Table page. At DBGB the French brasserie meets the American tavern, we feature 22 beers on tap… in addition to an extensive wine list. The mirrored walls are featured with Boulud's favorite culinary quotes, literally providing food for thought. Join us for the 14 varieties of house-made sausage, as well as seasonal Lyonnais inspired cooking alongside mouth watering burgers and towering shellfish platters. For dessert dig into soul soothing classics: baked Alaska, hot soufflés and ice cream sundaes. "Brought an overseas friend to have brunch there, we at the cafe side. The food was fantastic, but the waitress could have been better. The 3 of us spent around $140 for brunch (1 entree each, 2 sides, 2 cocktails and 3 coffees). The other service staffs were great, just wish the waitress was a bit less rude."

"The food was amazing and the moderate portions left us satisfied, but not stuffed. Our waiter was especially nice and seemed to really love his job. As a former waitress, this says a lot about a restaurant. I had never dined in the bar area, but it was fun for a party of two. for a larger group, I think the booths in the main room are great. The cauliflower soup was especially delicious"

"I was a little disappointed when we were seated in the front as it felt like I was eating at a fast food restaurant or a cafeteria. The food was very good but you may want to steer clear if you don't have an adventurous palate."

"Had high hopes. Went for dinner at the bar room on Sunday evening. Not crowded at all, in fact the bar room was almost empty. Arrived around 7 and saw several tables with little kids, counted at least 3 strollers.

Food was OK, though salty. But service was Terrible. Asked the waiter if I could try one of the wines. He pours me a taste and then promptly DISAPPERS! Hated the wine, but noone came to ask me if I would like a glass. Finally my boyfriend got up and went to the bar to ask for a different wine. They were out of my second choice, so I ended up ordering an overpriced, very common wine you can find at any neighborhood wine store.

Will never go back."

"Oustanding. Their homemade sausage is delicious- moist and incredibly flavorful. The croque monsieur is one of the best I've ever had. I would also highly recommend the butternut squash soup- beautifully presented and the flavor did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend coming here."

"A fantastic space...when my wife and I first walked in we could get the sense that this was the hot spot we were hoping it would be! The food was amazing...from the salad to the sausages all the way through the main courses and desserts. Our waiter was one of the best and felt like he only served our table...he was that attentive but NOT intrusive. We were comped a free dessert which was a nice touch! Highly recommend this innovative menu, great space and superb food...it delivers on all counts!

PS Always good to see a celebrity dining a few tables away...this TOP comedienne seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere and food as much as we were!"

"Food was good, service was in general good, however once we finished eating (literally) the waiter could not wait to get us out of there and hovered until we paid the bill so that was my lasting memory"
