    The Banquet Room at David’s can accommodate up to 50 guests. It is the perfect place to host receptions, rehearsal dinners, business meetings or any evening private event. The room can be configured in many different ways in order to host your unique event just as you envision. We have created several banquet menus for you to choose from or we can tailor a custom menu to your specific needs. The atmosphere and décor was very nice and the food was memorable - in a very good way. I had the lobster ravioli as an appetizer and my daughter and I both had the filet with scallops added as an entrée and it was all excellent! My daughter had the escargot as an appetizer and really enjoyed it while I found the flavor to be too busy and complicated - I prefer the classic escargot with butter and garlic. David's was a nice welcome home and I am so pleased that they are in the downtown area rather than on the south end of the island. I look forward to dining there again"

My mother had to send her dish back and the manager came to the table and was incredibley rude! The only positive is the bar tender is amazing and makes the best martinis. I will never eat here again!"

  • "This is the second time we have eaten here. Again the food was superb as well as the service. It is one of those gems that make a date night fun, romantic and pleasurable. The Biloxi clams were delicious - seasoned well and a generous portion. The special Crab appetizer had a great presentation with ample crab. We will be back and have recommended it to numerous friends. Thanks again and keep doing what you are doing!!!"

  • "Took the family out for my dsughter's 27th birthday while on vacation. This is a Great find. Wonderful food, nicely prepared. My wife had the sea bass, excellent. I ordered skirt & scallops. Great! Loved the place and would diffidently return. Would not recommend for small children. Highly recommend for adults. One couple or two."

  • "In Amelia Island the choices of excellent restaurants is limitless. I have to admit, when we saw the building that housed the restaurant we thought of cancelling the reservation and going to one of the more quaint establishments housed in an old seaside home. I am so glad we didn't. Of all the meals we have had in this week long stay or in our last, David's by far was our most enjoyable meal. The quality of the food, the presentation and even the quantity, outdid everywhere else we had eaten. As much as we tried, we could not finish all the food. We kept trying as it was so unbelievably good but just couldn't do it. So go light on the appetizers and bread because the main course awaits and you'll want to save as much room as you can."

  • "We dine at David's whenever we get the chance. I always have the ribeye and my wife always has the Chilean sea bass. They both are so delicious but I'm sure the other dishes are as well. This time we did order dessert, Bananas Foster, and would also recommend it as well. David's never disappoints!! Don't be fooled by the plain exterior of the restaurant, it is a beautiful and enjoyable atmosphere inside!"

  • "We chose this Restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Every experience at this establishment was superb. The young man in charge of the valet parking was very personable and professional. We did have reservations and were immediately seated which was impressive considering this was a Holiday evening and a busy weekend night. Our waitress, Jill, was very helpful, friendly and efficient. We selected a variety of food from petite filet, to seafood and pasta and everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Even the wait staff not assigned to our table were friendly as they wished us happy anniversary. Everyone went above and beyond to make our evening special! We highly recommend this restaurant!!"

Upon arriving at our table the staff had a decorative Happy Anniversary card signed by all... very nice touch. The menu selection was so wonderful we could not decide and had to close our eyes and point. As expected the result was a great meal. We have already recommended the restaurant to quite a few friends. We will be returning again soon. Many thanks to our wonderful waitress and the great staff at David's."

They were sent back to the kitchen and the outsides were burned and the center not properly cook. We paid our full bill and left. There was no offer of a reduction in the price. We will never go back to David's. Place is really boring just long stoned interior walls, nothing special. Perhaps good food would have made it special."

It totally took away from our (husband and myself) dining experience. I gave feedback to the employees that we were disappointed and suggested they should have seated us elsewhere, especially since I had booked this weeks ago. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want a quiet romantic dinner. "

The decor was nice; the lounge had wonderful live music before dinner. The food quality was good but the preparation was highly under-seasoned and left the food rather tasteless. We were also disappointed that the Italian flair was basically risotto as a side-dish; we were expecting more of an Italian steak house menu."

  • "We had to attend a convention at the Ritz Carlton, on Amelia Island, had a Friday night that was open for dinner. So about six weeks ago I went on line and saw David's website, and after looking at the menu and wine list, I emailed for a reservation. Reservation was accepted, even had a follow-up prior to leaving for convention. Even though the exterior was unassuming, the interior décor was outstanding, dinner was excellent, wait staff was very professional, and experience was memorial. Our group plans to return to Amelia in the very near future, and Davids will be at the top of our list to visit."

  • "It's been few years since I've been on the island but when I return I'll differently return to David's. I had crab soup and the mixed seafood risotto. Excellent. My wife had the spinach salad and the sea bass that absolutely melted in our mouth. Shared a desert bananas foster amazing. "
