When I made the reservation, I informed the hostess that we were celelbrating a milestone birthday and she assured me that she would inform our server. After enjoying a fabulous meal and a very attentive wait staff, I was extemely disappointed to learn that the hostess dropped the ball and forgot to inform our server about our special occasion. Having brought it to my waiters attention, he responded yes sometimes the ribeyes come like that. Could have handled that better for such an upscale restaurant. Offer or a replacement or bill adjustment. Bill for 4 was ~$600. Inc drinks apps meals sides desserts. Decor was awesome. Starts with a fresh, hot , huge popover . Hubby had the lobster cocktail that was fresh & easy to eat since each part of the shell was cracked or halved, We split an amazing, perfectly cooked aged porterhouse and some sides. Although not on the menu, Anthony said they can prepare the fries with asiago & truffle. They could have been crisper for my taste, but I appreciated the special request. The service was wonderful. We did suggest to the manager the music change to fit the great food. Listening to rock and roll just did't fit the mood. We love rock and roll but listening to Jimi Hendricks with a great gourmet meal was uncomfortable. The one downside was access to the restaurant - since smoking is allowed at the resort, you feel like you hit a wall of smoke odor as you enter the resort. Our server Sarah was wonderful and the food was fabulous. Prime Rib and Sirloin were succulant and well prepared. Seafood trio and Beet salad were satisfying, enjoyable appetizers. The dining room is very modern and attractive and while large still manages to be inviting and intriguing. We had a blast and will surely return soon!3/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
