Celebrated our daughter's 17th birthday on burger night. Everyone enjoyed themselves, great burgers, drinks, nice choices for our 7 year old. We were there during Jersey Shore Restaurant week and took advantage of the 3 course prix fixe menu. There were plenty of choices for each course and all were delicious. The wait staff was attentive and accommodating. I had seen the Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell episode where the executive chef was chosen for this restaurant, which added to the experience. There were a couple of extras that were compliments of the chef that were a nice touch. Unfortunately, the service was not, for what appeared to be a slow Sunday night. When we arrived at our table, the setting was missing a bread plate and fork which were delivered after I requested them. Our entres where provided but unfortunately our silverware had been taken. So we waited for a fresh set, After we started our meal, our waitress came by and saw that the topping was not on our meat, More time waiting for the busboy to be found and to dish out the topping. Literally, you eat in a dining/living room. Very nice ambience and attentive service. The bar is in a different part of the house and had live music when we went on a Saturday night, which you could hear from the dining room. It wasn't too quiet or too fancy or too stuffy, but perfect for a date night. Dress up rather than down (business casual). Prices are on the high side but the food is delicious. The perfect day started with and extremely nice man parking out car. The ambience was great extremity cozy, perfect for a brunch. After the service personal found us, we received our drinks very fast. The brunch buffet was great and the variety very good, especially the sweet part. The only thing which wasn't perfect was that often the charcuterie was wiped out and not refilled and the oysters too. Next time I would be there earlier to really have enough time. This was every bit as nice.
