A word from Daugherty's American Kitchen & Drink
In the late 50’s and early 60’s there was a Carefree time in America known as Camelot, when the Rat Pack ruled and Swanky was the lifestyle. In the Big Cities and Casino towns there were American-Italian restaurants with Subway tile floors, highback leather booths and Blacked Out windows called Joints. They celebrated Big food, big Wine, hand shaken Martinis and sounds to make you Swing. Welcome to Frankie Bones. A Classic American-Italian Restaurant and Lounge. A Menu inspired by the big cities. Chicago, Vegas, St. Louis and New York. An Atmosphere harkening back to the bustling symphony of a time past, but Not Forgotten. An Experience to be shared with Family and Friends.Continued

  • "We went to celebrate my birthday. I ordered salmon and my husband ordered steak. It took a long time to get our food. The salmon was undercooked. I could not eat it. I was offered something else but did not want to wait. They did not make me pay for it. That was the only time I have not been happy there. We have been back since and everything was great. I will continue to eat there. I just chalk it up to them making a mistake just like we all do."

  • "Dining in the main room with the bar has the best ambiance. The adjacent room leaves a lot to be desired."

  • "Frankie Bones has great food in a very enjoyable setting. We usually sit near the bar area, which has a NYC appeal. Service is great and the food is prepared authentically and we've always been pleased with the selections and options. The staff is very responsive and service is excellent. You will need a car to get there and it is on the south side of Asheville -- a few miles south of I-40. We go back regularly!"

  • "My wife and I live in Charlotte but go to Asheville on occasion and every time we go we must make Frankie Bones one of our first stops! The last time we went we went way over board and ordered 2 apps, 2 meals, sides, and dessert we were so stuffed we could barely walk out. The food is wonderful and the staff seems great!!! LOVE Frankie Bones and hope they can expand closer to us someday"
