The food is wonderful BUT when it takes 1 1/2 hrs. to get to your table; your mood and dining experience are ruined. We will not return on a weekend evening.

I was absolutely delighted with Dante's Kitchen! The food was inventive and very good. The service was knowledgeable of both food and wine and very helpful. Since the food was so creative, that was helpful. My guests and I really had a great and memorable evening.

We decided to venture out of the Quarter and it was well worth the $20 cab ride. We had the chicken and the trois mignon and it was fabulous. Easily one of the best meals we have had in our 10-11 trips to NOLA (or anywhere for that matter). Lovely neighborhood, atmosphere and experience.

Outside area is very nice but very noisy due to traffic and the occasional train going by. The food was excellent and the service was very good.

So delicious I had the redfish which was perfectly cooked but had alot of parsley in the salad on top which I found strange. But my date had the roasted chicken and it was amazing! The shrimp and grits were also delicious. It is in a very cute renovated house in a nice part of town- all in all I highly recommend it!

This was my second time at Dante's. THe first time was wonderful, the second time was even better. The servers knew their wine as well as pairings. It was a very laid back atmosphere. We had the charcuterie with goat prosciutto and pork and goose liver pate, then the pork belly and beef and lamb hearts (the whipped lardo was so buttery!). The hearts were tender and delicious, the pork belly was a bit hard on top but was smooth and practically melted in your mouth. Our server suggested pairing it with a heavy pinot noir and it was perfect. The butterscotch pudding was AMAZING and I don't really love butterscotch, so that says something!

We like this restaurant very much, making a point of visiting it every time we are in NOLA. Informal, fun atmosphere belies some serious cooking that goes on here. That being said, I was disappointed with the duck dish - very heavy tasting with a thick glaze. The rest of the food, and the innovative cocktails, made up for it!
