"best creme bulee ever!! Food was wonderful. I just wish the decor was a little more vibrant. Very quiet and calming for the city of reading. Bring money. but come at least once to enjoy the great food!!! Great steak, sweet potatoe soup, crab cakes and of course the dessert. All of this with a calm atmosphere and attentive wait staff made for a great evening."

"Disappointed - 4 people came to Dan's before Berk's JazzFest last weekend. We started with a fantastic sweet potato soup and everything from there on was just average. My wife and I love fresh / steamed vegetables so we asked that 1 of the 4 entrees be anything fresh veggie. We asked for a dinner portion of anything fresh veg: - tomato, corn, broccoli, green peppers, spinach, etc? We tried to explain to one of the owners. He first didn't get it, then said ok, asked about butter - we asked for very light olive oil... We got succotash flooded in oil? We had 4 wines by the glass and one cocktail, 2 standard salmon dinners, a pan seared talapia, and the succotash w/tip came to $210! Way overpriced!"

"We again enjoyed dinner at Dan's in Reading, PA. This time we had out of town guests from NYC in Reading for the Annual Berks Jazz Fest. Dinner was great and the service was very good. We had good wine from their wine list and brought one SPECIAL bottle of our own that they served for us , with a modest corking fee. We will return."

"Group of six for a family reunion dinner. Great menu with some unique dishes. The First Courses were particularly good. Some of the best pan fried Foie Gras I have had. The duck breast and PA Chicken were also notable. Steaks and pork were slightly overdone and not Prime, but portions were good and included sides were very good. One of the better fine dining experiences in Berks County."

"Everything was amazing and a perfect romantic evening for valentines day or any special occasion. We had duck an pork tenderloin- both we outstanding. I'd recommend it to anyone- pricey- but that's what you get for fine dining."
