Every night is a great night at Danny's. Join us for dinner or a celebration. Start off with our Filet Mignon Spring Roll or Sweet Spicy Shrimp. Dive into our Honey Roasted Pecan, Pears and Gorgonzola Salad, perfect for sharing. We offer Filet Mignon, Grass Fed Ribeye, Roasted Stuffed Bone In Chicken, Fall-off-the-Bone Baby Back Ribs, Salmon with Lump Crab Hollandaise, just to name a few and of course, our Sushi.

  • "We had a 7PM reservation Saturday night and had to wait 35 minutes. They had last minute diners. However, there was a table for 4 sitting empty the whole time we were waiting. The hostess said it was booked for 7 PM same as ours, but the people hadn't arrived by the time we were finally seated. It was extremely noisy. She wouldn't put two people there - we could have eaten and gone by the time they filled the table. we wouldn't go on a saturday night. There also was a charge of $5 for valet parking. Shold have driven around while we were waiting fora free spot."

  • "I have been dying to try this place for years and I am also looking for a nice steak in Monmouth county. I made a reservation, we get there and the place was not that crowded but yet the hostess decided to sit us all on top of each other UGH I hate that. The steak came I ordered the ribeye it was small bigger than the outback but small and it had no flavor and I never saw the waitress I always had to keep calling her over. The bar looked active but the restaurant not so much - I think Danny needs the Mystery STakeout to come back and help him again"

  • "What can I say, many lunches here and some dinners. Saw and talked to Danny, the owner, twice on my last visit and the restaurant was at capacity all-night. We started at the bar, then moved to the table. First table was a little tight for Big Daddy (me) so they were all over it and moved us to another table within minutes. We had a show to see at 7:30 that night so they put us a the tight table quick so we could get our orders in and make the show with time to spare. The steaks were superb, cooked exactly to perfection for the table which ranged from my medium rare through to a well done for my cousin."

It also met the criteria for satisfying one vegetarian in our party as well as the meat eaters. Our meals were delicious! Still talking about the filet mignon the next day! Can't wait to go back!"

  • "My two friends and I were attending a concert at the nearby Two Rivers Theater and this was so convenient to dine and walk steps to the theatre. Our steaks, ribs and sides were all fantastic, except the cream spinach was a bit watery and lacking flavor, but that was such a small miss relative to our great experience. The cocktails were made to perfection, too. Our waiter was professional, attentive and helpful without being overly pushy. My only true unfavorable comment was the tight table we had near the kitchen doors, but the great food made up for the cramped quarters."

I sat alone and waited at the table while the service and staff were all wonderfully accommodating -seated me with a drink and menus instantly --he didn't get there for 30 minutes -- but no one rushed me. Felt comfortable in this quiet, lovely neighborhood gem. Food was much better than I remembered-- he had a steak grilled to perfection and I had scallops. Perfect size portions and overall a great, elegant dinner!"

The bar area is small and a little tight especially if it gets crowded, but the atmosphere was very enjoyable.   • "I have dined at Danny's 3 times now and every time is just as good as the last. The place was packed but the noise level was moderate. Our waitress was very nice and our order went in swiftly. My dirty martini was PERFECT and My sushi was absolutely delicious, the fish was so fresh I'm thinking the next time that I eat there it will be a sushi only night. My rib eye steak dinner was cooked to perfection,tender and so full of flavor. My husband had the strip, he loved it but unfortunately the creamed spinach was flavorless and not so palatable to look at either. My friends filet minion was done to perfection and delicious also. Loved Danny's and you will also!!!"

Their veggie burgers are outstanding, the sushi is fresh, the wine list has a reasonably priced selection by the glass or bottle, my meat lover friends rave about their steak or burger and ... the bar pie - some of my favorite pizza in town."

  • "I've eaten Danny's foods at several events but never actually eaten at his restaurant until last night. I have to say I was impressed! The service, atmosphere and ambience was amazing. Our steaks were cooked just like we like them - medium rare. My friends were very impressed that Danny himself stopped by our table and said hello and asked us how our dinner was. I am definitely going back to enjoy his steaks and try the short ribs next time. Oh, and don't let me forget the delicious Strawberry and Hazelnut gelato our husbands loved for dessert. Highly recommend for a great steak dinner. Thank you Open Table for " on time" reservation!"

  • "WOW - 2 for 1 burger night and $2 off of your glass of wine - what a pleasant surprise. Everyone loved their meal - the sirloin burger is always delicious, the veggie burger was a pleasant surprise, and the sweet potato fries were a big hit. It's also nice that it's so close to Two RIver Theater - makes it perfect for a relaxed meal, an easy walk to the show, and even a drink or dessert afterwards. There's a reason that Danny's has been around for so long - girl's night out, couples, watching a game at the bar - can't wait for warm weather and to eat outside."

The service was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing, and we never felt rushed. After so many years in the neighborhood, Danny's remains an outstanding choice."

My last visit was with a party of six on New Year's Eve, and everyone was very pleased with his/her meal.   • "Always a tough night to go out to dinner and this was no exception. Made reservation for 7PM, did not get seated until almost 8PM because the restaurant reserves your party by table and does not deviate from this. The party before us was hanging out at the table longer than anticipated by the restaurant. Other parties with later reservations than us were seated before us, this is not the fair way to work seating. In addition to this snafu only two dinners for our party of 4 came out. The other two dinners came out later after we received an apology that there was a mix up in the kitchen. Other than these service flaws the food was quite good , especially the calamari and special salad. The main courses were enjoyed by all too."

I never had Danny's on my list for a Christmas Eve dinner, having turned to so many other restaurants. My experience with other restaurants was one in which they jammed in as many diners as possible and then offered a special menu. Well, Danny's offered their standard menu - which we welcomed - and the dining room was spacious and the noise was moderate. The service was very good for a busy evening and the food was consistent. The night was great and we'll be heading back next Christmas!"
