"Our family usually hosts at home on Easter, but decided to do something different this year. We had a perfectly lovely time with family in a pretty, home-like room decorated with china in cabinets and artwork. The food was delicious; the service gracious and efficient. The Dan'l Webster Inn just may become a new family tradition on the holiday. Thanks for a great experience!"

"Salad and dessert were good. Our entrees, haddock and swordfish, appeared not cooked to order. Both entrees were dry and lacked fresh fish texture, taste & appearance. The legumes accompanying the swordfish as well as one side of the entree plate were black as if scorched. The accompanying starch and vegetable also appeared to have been made ahead of the order and did nothing to enhance the overall enjoyment of the entree. When our disappointment with the quality of the entree was expressed to the waiter, he cleared our plates and said he would show them to the manager. He returned to report he had done so. No one addressed our concerns with us. This was a disappointing birthday dinner for two persons who know fresh and well prepared food."

"We dined at the Daniel Webster Inn on a Thursday, thinking that there would be less of a crowd. We were correct. However, the service was a bit lacking. The only things our waiter rushed to do was take our order and give us the check. We had to wait quite a bit, considering the number of people in the restaurant, for everything else. We had to choose a second appetizer, as the appetizer initially ordered was unavailable. The waiter had to return to request the type of pasta desired. One of the entrees was lukewarm. Drinks had to be requested twice before they were delivered or delivered correctly. The food was good, but eating out shouldn't be this hard, especially off-season."

"The food was outstanding, and reasonably priced. The staff wasn't overly knowledgable about their wine options, however they were so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet, and the large chandeliers and lighted fountains were a great touch."

"nice setting, very good service, food is just ok: we had the lunch buffet and overall, the food choices and food quality are ok - not great. The cold section with salad, shrimp and cheeses was good, the breakfast section appeared to be typical - though at 1:00 did not appeal to us. The lunch food selection was so so: eggs benedict a bit (c)old, the rice not very appealing, Pasta ok, no potato selection. The salmon was good, the lobster crepes were all right - not outstanding. The filling was very "mushy". The carving station with ham and turkey was good, a roast beef selection was missing. Bottom line the salad table was the most appealing. Desert = typical fare of cheese cake, cookies - no fruit. Would order a'la cart next time"
