Since I have been to Daniels before I wanted my friends to experience the wine flights and exceptional food. Daniel's didn't disappoint me again! Food and presentation was spot on. The interior design is just beautiful with lots of beautiful wood art built into the design details in a very cool way. Wait staff is friendly and very efficient. Loved the food - we shared a nice big Greek Salad as well as 4 or the small plates between the 3 of us and were stuffed. The hummus is not to be missed. We also had the scallop lettuce cups, fried oysters (v.g.) and fillet small plates. All were excellent. They also have some inventive drinks and great wine flights. Our friends are planning on putting it on their list of places they have to regular. The atmosphere was lively the drink menu was fun and different (infused vodkas!!). The menu has many tapas (and great steaks too) which worked so well for our large group. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful in chosing just the right amount of food. Perhaps a bit expensive, but when you weigh that with how much thought was put into the creative menu, the food presentation and fun/hip decor, all which show such passion for what they do - paying more is well worth it. This is not a meal simply slapped on a plate - this is an experience, this is art. The service was impeccable, the wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful We are on Hilton Head island for 6 days and we went back twice for Dinner. They have unusual infused liquors and use them in interesting drinks, A real must if your on the Island.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful setting,unbelievable foodDaniel's is not touristy.It is a beautiful interior and the fabulous food and realistic prices make it a place not to miss.It has consistently very high ratings for the food and ambiance.Since it was withing walking distance of the condo we decided to try it. The reviews were definitely on mark. The restaurant serves mostly large orders of tapas.We started with hummus and pita bread. The waiter made the hummus at the table (delicious)and there was enough for 4 people. The corn and potato chowder was creamy and delectable.A large Greek salad had all of the traditional elements and was a gigantic size too.We had lamb gyro meatballs that were cooked on a cinnamon stick, the spices were fabulous,same for the chicken satay.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time to eat at Daniels.First time to eat at Daniels. We were pleasantly surprised at both the atmosphere and food selection. Food was wonderful and plentiful. The only drawback is Daniels location. It is located in the Coligny Plaza area of Hilton Head which is a resort guest hot spot.
