The food and service are fabulous and never disappoints. Be ready to pay for that treat.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AM25th - Silver AnniversaryIt was a very nice evening, with appetizers, salads and entrees'. We really enjoy having special dinners here with the family. We have such great memories or birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and such. We always brag to people about how nice the setting, staff and food are. Thanks for the years of great, fun times!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst timeGreat food. It was our first time at the restaurants. Every table has a partial view of the lake.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunchHad a wonderful Brunch, the service and food was wonderful.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat SteakWe were celebrating an early graduation. I was so impressed by how the hostess and waiter both remembered (we mentioned it on our reservation through open table). Many times I have gone to a restaurant for a birthday or other special occasion, and the restaurant never acknowledges. It really makes you feel special when they do. Although the scallop appetizer was a little cold, the filet was excellent and the maytag blue cheese sauce outstanding. I love both the Metropolitan Grill and John Howie for a steak night out, but Daniels had excellent cuts of beef. Very impressive.
The setting could not be more beautiful. The restaurant sits on Lake Washington with gorgeous views. We sat outside and it was blissful.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe're regulars here, but thisWe're regulars here, but this particular visit was special--it was my husband's birthday, and he'd been traveling a lot for work. The staff were so kind and considerate. We got the table I requested when I made the reservation, the bartender (we arrived early and had a glass of wine at the bar) was knowledgable and funny, and our waiter was smart, sweet, and prompt. We've always really liked Daniel's but they really went above and beyond this time.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMy steak was cooked perfectly. My steak was cooked perfectly. Fried artichokes were amazing and unique.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was almost too noisy -It was almost too noisy - couldn't really carry on a conversation with my other guest.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMUpper price range but excellentUpper price range but excellent food. The food was excellent, the portions perfect, and the staff was helpful and on top of everything all night long.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMRomantic and beautifulGreat food, fantastic service and more intimate than their Lake Union location. Make time for a lakeside walk before or after on gorgeous Lake Washington!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMPrices were pretty steep,Prices were pretty steep, but the food was very good. Since the portions were generous, we split and entree. Service was friendly, but professionally competent. Noise level was a little high for quiet conversation, but it quieted down as time went on, the benefit of a reservation later in the evening. Fabulous location and view. All in all a very pleasant evening even on a cold and rainy night.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe first of many visits to comeWhile traveling on business, I was suggested to try Daniel's as a new experience. Having two clients with me, I made the res for early evening. Late afternoon was great timing, as the dining floor filled quickly. Daniel's was participating in the Seattle Restaurant week promotion and had some excellent prix fixe from which to choose.
We chose the menu options and the Halibut was most excellent - moist and delicious. Wine selections are also well represented, with a broad selection from both Washington and Oregon to choose from.
With a spectacular view of Lake Washington and an outstanding menu selection available, my experience made Daniel's a most easy choice to return again - with pleasure4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome place! A bit pricy,Awesome place! A bit pricy, but we went for Seattle Restaurant week. We will be back!4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent salmon on "3 forExcellent salmon on "3 for $28" menu. Good service. Nice wine selection.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place. We have beenLove this place. We have been coming here for many many years (even before it was a D. Broiler..) and enjoy the D. Broiler quality of food and service!! A very special place for our special occasions! Steaks are sumptuous!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMFive Stars + NoisyI took my wife to Daniel's Broiler on a sunday evening. they were about half capacity at the time. my only complaint is that the dining area is something of an echo chamber and it was very noisy the whole time. The space is beautiful however, and the service and food are first class. Our bill was just shy of $200 after not holding back on appetizers and drinks. Well worth that kind of money.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGo to Daniels at Leschi! This was the 2nd time we went to Daniel's this month, both for birthday celebrations. This particular occasion we had a partyof 8.
There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about our experience. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were treated wonderfully by every staff member. We absolutely loved our waiter. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name so I can give him credit on this review. He was the BEST! We had a great time, a wonderful meal, and superb service. Highly recommend!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was great! LovedEverything was great! Loved the ambiance, had not been there for 30 yrs as I live in Sonoma now. I was visiting family and decided to treat everyone there for a special dinner.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for dinner. PricesGreat place for dinner. Prices are a bit steep and the wine list limited. But the steaks are first class and the service excellent!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAt 5 pm, it was quiet; byAt 5 pm, it was quiet; by 6:30, the noise level was uncomfortable. In such an elegant restaurant, having a tv in the bar where others can see is a distraction and one that is not needed. Surprised at the amount of raw seafood. Waiter was excellent and table by the window was a plus.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went there for the dinaroundseatWe went there for the dinaroundseattle event. The size of the steak (6 ox) was just perfect. I selected the mini creme brulee for dessert and it was great, perhaps it can be a little bigger.
It was my retirement celebration and the hostess gave us a very nice table. I was happy for the attention to details.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWOW, What a great dinner andWOW, What a great dinner and the service by Ashley was spot on. Thanks for everything. We will be back for sure.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDine Around Seattle - Great ValueWent here for the Dine Around Seattle promotion and was not disappointed. The artichoke heart appetizer and steak entree with mashed potato and broccolini sides were exceptional. The Oysters Rockefellar were divine. The only shortcoming was the creme brulee desert, which wasn't the best I've had (that distinction goes to Paley's Place in Portland, Ore.). Overall a delightful experience and will return again on a "sunny" day.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
